Great location to all the wineries and the view was so great even with the fog. The closed off patio was awesome for the weather we had it was rainy and cold but having the heaters made it perfect to sit outside, play games and also drink our coffee in the morning. The inside fireplace always a great for the cold weather as well. The owner was super accommodating with allowing us to bring our dog last minute she also answered questions we had before we even arrived.

Great place to stay while visiting Watkin’s Glen and surrounding areas. Close to everything with a restaurant and winery right across the street. It was a bit tight for my family of 6 adults and a baby, but it would be terrific for a family of 4.

This was our second stay at this home, yet again it was a wonderful weekend. Dan is a very responsive host. The house is well-kept and cozy. The hot tub is an added bonus, it's a great way to end the day. We look forward to staying here again in the future!

We were absolutely delighted with our stay at Jan's Lake Ontario Style House! This beautiful, quintessential home embodies the perfect vacation feel and boasts stunning views of the lake. The property is amazing, and the high-end hot tub house with its incredible view is a real highlight of the stay-- perfect for a relaxing retreat, especially in March when it's cold and gloriously windy! The house itself is beautifully appointed, with every amenity you could need. Don't worry if you think you’ve forgotten something—Jan has provided everything you could imagine! The kitchen was a joy for both cooking and baking, and the dining room offered spectacular views to enhance every meal. Jan was an exceptional host, sending us daily recommendations that led us to wonderful antique shopping and cozy cafes. We also enjoyed a short drive to Rochester, just over 30 minutes away, where we explored museums and had an amazing meal at a local restaurant. We hope to be back soon!

We had such a great girls weekend at Tanya’s place in Sylvan Beach! The house was just as described—clean, comfortable, and perfect for our trip. The location was ideal, with plenty of great dining options nearby and everything was just a quick drive or walk down the beach away. Check-in was super easy and stress-free. Tanya was a great host, and we’d definitely stay here again! Highly recommend!

Everything we needed was supplied and at our fingertips, without being overrun with “stuff.” Well-maintained, clean, and comfortable. Vernon & Merrie were wonderful hosts and were always very responsive before and during our stay. The house is a perfect fit for 2 families. It is very spacious and we felt like we had 2 homes in 1 with 2 full kitchens. This was a huge plus as our stay was over Thanksgiving and the extra space with 2 refrigerators, multiple ovens, etc… all came in handy. The house is very well stocked and it’s clear the hosts put a great deal of care and thought into creating a great vacation for their guests. Highly recommend!
