Waterfront vacation rentals in Scilla

Had a very nice stay. Everything was clean and comfortable. We had a beautiful view of Mount Etna from one balcony where we could have breakfast in the shade in the morning. But if we wanted sun, we would sit on the other balcony overlooking the sea and the garden below. If we had any questions, Aretas responded very quickly and kindly. We soon felt at ease and we were very happy with the parasol that was present. The restaurant opposite the apartment complex is recommended! The Airbnb is a pleasant base for surrounding cities and nature reserves.

We had a great holiday. The apartment is perfectly situated in Tropea and the view from the balcony is second to none. Everything was close and there was enough space for all of us. Thank you for hosting us.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 5 nights in the month of Ocotber. The apartment is cute! It has a full kitchen as well as two bedrooms. The second bedroom only has single beds, in which we did not use. The shower is quite small and if you are overweight you may have trouble for the shower ( we did not have any issues). There is a washer as well which is very convenient! The location of this apartment is perfect, it's situated right next to the stairs to get down to the beach, and 2-3 mins walk to the centre. The sunset from the balcony is stunning. I recommend this place! Thank you Lina !

Terrific staff and host!

We had a wonderful stay in Mazzaro at Rocco's property! Shortly after we booked a few months ago Rocco informed us that unfortunately the owners of this property needed it during our dates but he kindly offered his other property only a 2 minute walk away instead. For reference the property and listing is called (Luxury apartment and charm sea view Isola Bella). It was absolutely wonderful with the best view of the Baia di Sant'Andrea, just opposite Isola Bella. Less than 5 minute walk to both beaches and cable car up to Taormina. The property consists of both a downstairs and upstairs unit. Both were clean and the washroom downstairs newly renovated. My only small criticism is that Rocco uses an AI chatbot to help communicate with guests, so you will always get a response from "him" quickly, but the information might not be totally accurate. He would however always correct 'himself' within 24 hours. Would stay here again in a heartbeat, it is so beautiful!

The apartment was absolutely amazing! Everything was super clean, stylish, and comfortable — we felt right at home. The location was perfect for exploring the city, and the atmosphere was so cozy. The hosts were incredibly kind, helpful, and just overall great people. They made everything easy and pleasant for us. Cool place near Taormina

My wife and I stayed at Maria's apartment for two weeks in June. We had a wonderful time. The apartment has a great terrace with a sea view. Right in front of it, there’s a small, very private beach. The water is crystal clear, and from the water, you have a view of Taormina. The apartment is not located in the center of Letojanni, but we often walked to the seaside promenade in the evenings (a 15 to 20-minute walk), where there are many excellent restaurants with sea views. The apartment has a small kitchen that is equipped with everything you need. Maria was very friendly. We arrived in Sicily very early on our first day, and she even let us check in at 10 a.m. at no extra cost. There were some Sicilian pastries waiting for us in the apartment. Maria was always reachable via Whats App and gave us many helpful tips for excursions and more.

This was such a lovely and relaxing place. The outside space with the patios was amazing. There’s plenty of space indoors with a well equipped kitchen and I loved that the bedrooms are downstairs so you don’t have to bring the luggage upstairs. It was an easy drive to visit Taormina and Sergio was nothing but helpful with tips of where to park and places to eat. We would definitely return!

It is as described in the pictures. The apartment is very close to the beach. That's great. At our time, there was a lot of construction work around the apartment and it was very loud. It is good to know that the terrace is visible to all neighbors on each side. Therefore, you have no privacy on the terrace. The place is otherwise very clean and has plenty of space. The host Salvatore is very helpful and nice, everything worked out great.

The apartment is very well located in the heart of Tropea’s old town, with the most beautiful sea-view. There are several very good restaurants nearby. It was quite hot and there was only one fan. Would have been nice to have had a second one, especially at night. Other than that, we can highly recommend this spacious and very well equipped apartment. Massimo was more than helpful with everything. He gave us many good recommendations where to eat, grocery shopping, etc.

We had a lovely stay at Chiara"s place. Swims in the morning and drinks on the balcony in the warm evenings. The apartment is very well appointed and tastefully decorated.

We loved our family stay at Cristina's place a lot and can truly recommend it! Especially la Terrazza - the terrace and the closeness to the beach and restaurants made it so easy to be there as a family. She even has a collection of toys our 5y-old enjoyed. The interior is very tasty and tidy. And Cristina was so heartfelt welcoming (offering local pastry) and helping with a lot of useful information. The street can be noisy at times, but the windows keep that outside and the A/C cools down sleeping areas when needed. Thank you so much for everything, Cristina.

We were very pleased with our stay. Alessandro was very communicative, at check-in, with problems, and with the transfer of our daughter to the airport. We enjoyed the small terrace very much, as it feels almost directly on the sea. We can only recommend the apartment. Volker and Iris

Lele is an excellent hostess. The place matches the description perfectly. She has thoughtfully prepared a detailed instruction book with all the information we might need. Additionally, she provided us with plenty of helpful parking tips.

We had an excellent stay in Dario’s lovely apartment. The roof terrace with the jacuzzi and view of Etna is stunning! The rest of the apartment is spacious, well designed and comfortable - the kitchen was remarkably well equipped. Dario was a very responsive and helpful host and Riposto is well located for visiting the East coast of Sicily.

We had a really lovely stay! The apartment is well-equipped and had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the beautiful terrace – perfect for breakfast or a relaxing evening drink. With the private access to the sea and the peaceful outdoor space, the place truly felt like an oasis. One downside was the noisy street, especially during weekend nights – something to keep in mind if you're sensitive to sound. We also really appreciated the free parking on the street – we were always able to find a spot nearby without any trouble. Salvatore was a great host: very friendly and helpful. His local tips were excellent – especially the restaurant recommendations, which were spot on! He also has a dog who is very friendly, though it did bark occasionally. All in all, a great place to stay that we would definitely recommend.

Claudia was an extremly welcoming, warm and amazing Person. She was always asking if everything is fine, if she can help us in any way and if we need anything. I would wholeheartedly recommend everyone to take this airbnb, she is just amazing. Amazing place, super close to the beach (30 meters!!!). Clean, nice and just perfect. The apartment is beautiful, exactly like the pictures, very contemporary with a balcony overlooking the sea at the front and a view of mount Etna at the back. The town, Stazzo, is a small Sicilian fishing village with few tourists. Although we don’t speak Italian, we were welcomed and found it to be a very friendly neighborhood with neighbours meeting on the seafront, passing the time of day with each other. It was lovely to see. When we were there the beaches were just starting to be converted for the summer season with wooden platforms being installed over the rocks but we were happy to swim and sunbathe on the many flat areas carved out on the rocks. All in all, it was a great base to explore the region, you will need a car but you can park right on front of the house, no problem.

The apartment is located in the best stretch of the waterfront, it is well-structured, organized and equipped as a house to live in all year. We were very well received by Giovanni and his family, always attentive to meet the requests and to provide us with useful tips about the stay. We appreciated Brancaleone, a very quiet village with a beautiful sea and an archaeological site ("Brancaleone vetus") that it is advisable to visit, along with the border house of Cesare Pavese and the recovery center of sea turtles. For the rest, you can expand your exploration to the historic center of Bova, to the enchanting Gerace, to the beach of the natural pools in Africo (where the advice is to equip yourself with a mask to enjoy the beautiful vision of the seabed), and go to Siderno to find a more organized promenade. Sites that help you discover an unprecedented Calabria full of natural wonders. Thank you for your hospitality :)
