What a lovely stay! The room was cozy, everything super neat and organized and the breakfast was fantastic. It was a full house, but so organized that things ran very smoothly. We had been looking to spend a little less, but it was worth the value for sure. Very convenient to Ithaca, where our son is a sophomore. Dodie gave us a map and visitors guide, which helped us explore the area. Would definitely book again!

Melissa's studio was the perfect place to stay while visiting our daughter at Cornell. Very clean and comfortable. Melissa met us when we first arrived to explain things around the studio. She even stocked the bathroom and kitchen with necessities. Wonderful host!

Elan’s space was very accommodating and comfortable! My partner and I appreciated the privacy and amenities like the outdoor area for coffee and breakfast. We enjoyed learning about and experiencing the eco village, it was quite a treat.

This place is incredibly unique. It's a bed and breakfast located in an eco-village. The actual room is within a shared apartment. The space is attach to the primary house. We only rented the one room which left the other room available for other guests. It might have been a little intimate to share the space if the other room was rented (which it was not). The mini kitchen they have is stocked with fresh snacks. We had access to the hot tub which overlooked the beautiful grounds. If we had more time there are trails and gardens to explore. Thank you for sharing your space.

Eileen's home was warm and welcoming - exactly what we needed. She is helpful and knowledgeable and it is a delight to stay with her!

If i could give more than 5 stars I’d give more. Easily 500 star worthy. Great hospitality and very responsive. Felt comfortable and well worth it.

This is an amazing place to stay. Chickens in the yard, amazing, restaurant quality breakfast every morning. Amazing and knowledgeable hosts who are very accommodating. We came without a plan and they curated multiple days of activities for us based on our tastes. Perfect for couples. We would return in a heartbeat.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The room was comfortable and clean, the bathroom spacious, modern and beautifully done. The hot tub a great bonus along with the very nice robes provided for us. Breakfast was wonderful!!...along with the baked goodies in the evening. The proximity to the wineries and Taughannock Falls along with the ability to walk to local restaurant for dinner made the location perfect. Rose and Mary were gracious hosts!

This was our 2nd stay to Dean We loved our stay at the farm, talking with Michael and Lisa. The breakfast is always amazing and the conversations are too. It's the warm welcome that made an impression on us the first trip and made us want to return to the area once again.

You’ve probably read about the breakfast from others, but it’s truly the best breakfast I’ve had in years. We had the pancakes, breakfast sandwich and ricotta toast and they were ALL incredible. Not to mention her baked goods. But onto the room: the BnB was the epitome of peace. I often get nervous as your experience can be greatly ruined by your neighbors in a BnB but the room was private, spacious and it seemed like everyone had their privacy despite all being on the same floor. The room was absolutely spotless; bed comfortable and warm, bathroom shower pressure amazing, curtains that block out light and thoughtful touches throughout. We spent a few nights sleeping away and waiting until it was time for breakfast! Kudos to the couple who owns this space. They are both hospitable, sweet and made the experience that much better. Thank you for a wonderful getaway!

We had the most wonderful stay at Rose’s Inn at Gothic Eves! The inn, its rooms and gardens have so much character and beauty but Rose is the main reason for our rave review. Rose is incredibly welcoming and warm with tons of knowledge and suggestions of local wineries, farms, creameries, and restaurants. I am a creature of habit and need my cup of coffee first thing in the morning. Rose had hot coffee waiting each morning for me and then we had the most amazing breakfast to follow: from brioche French toast one day to omelettes with vegetables from Rose’s garden and local meats and cheeses the next. The inn is well situated to many attractions and will not disappoint. Best stay in the finger lakes!

This was a comfortable, accommodating place to stay in great location for visiting wineries. We booked a dog friendly room, and were welcomed with our pup at the brewery on site and in the breakfast area. (It’s cozy, so consider how well behaved your dog is near other people.) Breakfast was a good value to consider when booking. There were scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage waffles, yogurt, granola, fresh fruit, toast, bagels, juices, and coffee. Even gluten free options with their own toaster. It seems like most rooms had a view of the lake, which is lovely for sunset. Our room on the first floor was handy for the pup and had Adirondack chairs. Staff were lovely and very welcoming.

Dave and Ashley are AMAZING! Very responsive. Great recommendations from them. Breakfast was out of this world. Very filling. Their house is so clean and the room was everything we could ask for. So many neat things for guests like the upstairs lounge, The snacks that are left out and the coffee, tea and drinks. The bed was great and comfortable. This was the perfect weekend get away for us as we celebrated our anniversary. Will definitely go back if we’re ever in the area again.

The Burdett house was perfect for a weekend getaway. Close to Watkins Glen and the Seneca Wine trail, there was plenty to do. Ashley and David were extremely friendly and provided perfect recommendations for restaurants and wineries. They also served a delicious breakfast each morning and provided excellent service. The room was comfy and matched the photos perfectly. I would definitely recommend staying at the Burdett house!

This was a perfect and quintessential Upstate NY bed and breakfast type lodging. The bed was more comfortable than our one at home and the room was clean and spacious. Virginia was an incredible host, always responding promptly and making herself available for anything through our stay. The location is very close Taughannock Falls and only about a 3 minute drive from Trumansburg restaurants and 15-20 into Ithaca. We would love to stay again and our only gripe might be not getting to see Virginia’s adorable dog, Maggie more ☺️

My wife and I stayed at Jes' place for three nights. The house is is gorgeous, with the rooms impeccably decorated and furnished. All furnishings supported the heritage of this magnificent historical mansion. I had reserved the smaller room for our stay, but Jes was very kind to upgrade us to Room 2, a very large, well-decorated room with a beautiful and very comfortable king size bed. The bathroom is very large with two separate sinks and a large shower (and separate bath tub). We took advantage of the downstairs rooms, where there are comfortable chairs for reading or just relaxing. There are beverages available to have while relaxing. I highly recommend Jes' place if you're looking to stay in the Trumansburg/Ithaca/Cayuga Lake area. You will feel very at-home and not disappointed. Make your reservation early to try to get Room 2!

Beautiful place and friendly hosts!

Our room was tastefully decorated and very comfortable. And the bathroom was even beautiful with the antique exposed brick. The inn’s setting is absolutely gorgeous; so peaceful, but yet only minutes away from all Ithaca has to offer. We attended an event in their fabulous barn venue as well. Couldn’t have asked for a better long weekend away. Beautiful! We took a short ride into town, enjoyed a walk at the lake and the farmer’s market. Back in the evening we enjoyed the swing, a walk around the grounds and a visit at the fire pit by the rustling creek to polish off the night. Our food was delicious too, especially breakfast on the weekend. A definite highlight. Hope to return again soon. - M&M

My mom and I had such a wonderful time staying at the Halsey House! It was extremely clean, well kept, and beautiful. It was in the perfect location. The breakfast was absolutely delicious! We can't wait to comeback!

A nice house near the Lake. The room is very clean and comfortable, with a beautiful living room and dining room. You can see Cayuga Lake from the window of the room and the outdoor platform. The house owner Kathy is very nice, providing us with a lot of information about surrounding food, shopping and play, and also preparing breakfast. The environment of this village is very quiet and peaceful. There is a natural park leading to a cliff by the lake, and there are wild animals. This is a pleasant community.
