Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Schouwen-Duiveland

We very much enjoyed our stay! It was beautiful and quiet, the dogs had a lot of fun in the garden and we didn‘t need to worry that they would get out of the property. The surrounding was very nice and we had a relaxing week, with walking distance to the beach and to nearby restaurants. Thank you very much!

Very good location in relation to the beach. The center of Renesse is about a 15-minute walk away. Located in a quiet neighborhood. The house was equipped with many things such as kitchen supplies, games, beach gear, etc. Diagonally opposite the house is a public field where the children can play football or badminton, for example.

Had a wonderful stay! Enjoyed the garden and the area. Great beds, nice bathroom and kitchen.

I have stayed in many nice airbnb properties, but this one was exceptional. It has a genuine feel of being used by a family, and is cosy and comfortable. Florian was very easy to communicate with. A very enjoyable few days.

The house is cozy and tastefully decorated. It is easily accessible and has a parking space right by the house. The bikes can be safely stored in the shed. By bike you can quickly reach the sea or take nice trips around the island. Terrace and garden are wonderfully spacious, surrounded by greenery and pleasantly quiet. We liked it very much and would be happy to come back.

We had a wonderful stay at Milou’s place. The house is cozy and beautiful, and the surroundings serene and peaceful. Easy access to nature walks and the beach, as well as cafes and amenities. We would highly recommend and hope to come back again!

The property is in a very quiet complex. Two restaurants and a Spar market were within walking distance in mid-April 2025. To get to Brouwerhaven or Scharendyke you need a car or, as is customary in Holland, a bicycle.

We loved the location. It's a short walk to the beach and you can practically fall into the city. A cute cottage with a fenced property, so you could also let the little four-legged friend explore the property without a leash. We will be happy to come back :-)

The stay was very pleasant – the apartment is thoughtfully decorated and offers everything you need. Especially the extensive amenities made the stay comfortable. The central location was convenient for excursions and activities. We would come back.

We stayed in the accommodation for the second time because we liked it so much on our first vacation. It's just nice in both fall and spring. The location is great, easy parking, you can start many activities from there and the beach is not far on foot. There are also restaurants in the immediate vicinity. The house is very clean and has everything you need. There are also practical free storage areas for your own stuff (games, etc.). The highlight is the gas fireplace, really cozy and gives off a pleasant warmth.

Thanks Cathy and John for your hospitality. Particularly thanks John for picking us up even though we were late due to train delays. Your place was really nice, modern and neat. Fascinated by the app controlled lighting and other devices you had set up. Loved your humour and spirit behind your overcoming of the things that would normally be challenges for other people. My daughter remarked that she had never seen that many inspirational quotes. Very nice.

Super nice stay, everything has been thought of for us the perfect place to visit holiday friends. So nicely decorated, nicely done and feels very homely. We ourselves did not quite find the cottage park "our thing", especially the music of the horicapleon, but secretly useful to have a supermarket and some entertainment within walking distance. Kids happy, we happy! So highly recommended!

At Windsor Castle - London Lodgement, you'll feel like the name suggests like "King & Queen". Even the entrance hall of this delightful mid-17th century Gildew was imposing. Our apartment, ..... no it was more of a "loft", just a dream ! The "old walls" gutted, which maintain essential and defining historical elements (beam blanket, windows+shops), supports, combined with modern, simple and individual fixtures - great. BottlesCooler, pellet stove, mega shower and "Japanese toilet" (google it) - wow. Dishes, glasses, towels, bathrobes, Nespresso, and and and, everything, but also really everything extremely tasteful and classily furnished. But the most beautiful thing was to be tickled up in the morning by the sun through the old, floor-to-ceiling windows in the fantastic bed. Actually, you didn't want to get up ..... It would have been too bad to miss the quily and extremely lovable Middelburg. We will be back!

We had a very great getaway (for two with a dog) in Bellatrix's beautiful cottage, where we felt comfortable from the beginning. The decor is very cozy and has everything you need. Bellatrix is really nice and animal friendly. The terrace is completely fenced, which was not only great for the dog. We too could feel completely private. You can park right outside the door, a bakery is around the corner and the kilometer-long beach is only a few minutes away by car. Ouddorp itself is a cute small spot. I'm sure we'll come back.

We had a wonderful stay! Everything was just as described, with a fantastic location—only about a 5-minute drive to the beach. The apartment was cozy and comfortable, making it the perfect place to relax. Highly recommend!

The place was very nice. Lots of space, relatively modern and cozy. It was a pity that there was no oven even though this is in the advertisement. The positive thing was that there were two instead of just one shower. In addition, it may be important to know that the beds only have double ceilings. Unfortunately, the location was very disappointing, nothing works without a car! Nevertheless, you can have a nice vacation there. :)

Great spacious villa with lots of bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and toilet. Wonderful swimming pool with sauna and a great location between village and beach.

Very nice summer house. We had booked the house over New Year's Eve as it was cold in the house, it took some time for us to have a pleasant temperature in the living area, but then it was very cozy. For 6 people the house is very well equipped and it lacks nothing. In the living room is a fireplace that is easy to fire and creates a cozy atmosphere. The house is at the end of a dead end street in a very quiet location. The beach and the place are within easy walking distance. Ed was always easily accessible before, during and after the stay. Thank you Ed.

Beautiful, spacious cottage in a very beautiful area. Everything we needed was present. The sauna and extra bathroom were used a lot! Perfect base for hiking, cycling, visiting towns in Zeeland,...

We had a great stay. The house was beautiful in a peaceful location. Our son loved the garden and games. The nearby dunes and pretty town make it a beautiful location.

Very new and high-quality accommodation with modern and comfortable flair! Beautiful fireplace, very well equipped kitchen, spacious garden including sauna! Simply perfect for a relaxing stay on the North Sea. Highly recommended!
