Family-friendly vacation rentals in Schleusingen

Our accommodation was very comfortable and the location was great for visiting many interesting places. We enjoyed the garden and trees and the rural setting. Apolda itself was an unexpected bonus, as was our very friendly hostess Erika.

We stayed in the apartment for a short stay and found it very nice. The area is of course great, the apartment is equipped with everything you might need and Claudia welcomed us very nicely and showed us everything. We were definitely not here for the last time and can highly recommend staying here. The apartment is very well maintained and nothing was missing. The bed was comfortable and the outdoor area is very nicely designed for cozy hours or evenings outside. Just great. Next time we will also be a guest here with our slightly older dog. Both the area and the space are really ideal if you want to travel with your four-legged friend.

We had a lovely and relaxing holiday in the apartment of Olaf and Nicole. Both welcomed us very warmly. The apartment is quiet and close to different excursion destinations. If you like hiking, this is the place to be, because the forest begins almost on the doorstep and thus also several hiking trails. The apartment is lovingly furnished, has a great garden and has everything you need. There were two of us traveling with a dog and would come back any time.

Katja's apartment absolutely met my expectations. During our weekend, we found it to be an oasis of tranquility where you could completely leave the outside world behind. The spacious living area invites you to cook and play together and the sleeping options were comfortable and cozy. The highlight was definitely the hot tub, which we were allowed to use in January at an outside temperature of 0°C. A hike on the Ettersberg rounded off our weekend and many Weimar restaurants deliver their food to Gaberndorf. A great, modern apartment with friendly hosts that we will definitely book again! :)

Susann's apartment is really right in the heart of Weimar. You can easily walk to all the sights. The decor of the apartment is charming and the balcony is wonderful for breakfast in the sun. At night, it can be louder outside on the street with the window open, but the apartment is also totally central and close to cafes or restaurants. The bakery across the street has super good rolls and tin cake! Susann is very hospitable and we will be happy to come back to her if it attracts us back to Weimar!

Everything was fine. Marc was always quick to respond if we had an issue. Very nice surroundings, perfect for dog walks in the nearby forest. Been here the second time.

We were on a bike trip for a night at Margot's place. Not only did she have space to store two bicycles and a children's trailer, there was also a baby travel cot available. Margot and the whole family we met the next morning was super nice and helpful, also extremely child-friendly.

A wonderful place to stay, definitely recommended for longer stays. As a family with a 6-year-old child, we didn't miss anything. Many details lend the basement living room its individual charm. You can explore Weimar's old town on foot and there are plenty of activities to do. Thank you for the stay!

Thank you for the hospitality and the great apartment! We felt very comfortable. Very family-friendly, the stairs upstairs can be "closed" so that the children cannot simply climb down. We loved our stay at Kathi’s beautiful home. There’s everything you need there and we were grateful for the extra consumables and special holiday touches. We were able to bring our extended family together from around the globe and we felt right at home for the holidays. We loved the walking trails and being surrounded by nature. It’s relaxing to spend time in the garden, even in the winter, and the stars at night are amazing. Nearest grocery shopping is 8 minutes away and the neighboring villages are picturesque. Kathi was also flexible, which was greatly appreciated! We’d love to return.

My grandparents enjoyed their stay here very much! They felt comfortable from the start as the place was clean, cozy and exactly as described. Christine was extremely friendly and helpful, and check-in went smoothly. The location was perfect for them. They still rave about the beautiful days there and were completely satisfied. We were a family of 4 (children 7 and 1 year old) for a weekend at Marco and Steffi. We used the apartment as a base for a weekend in Bamberg. We had everything we needed, felt very comfortable and welcome, the apartment was very clean and perfect for us with its own access. The children could play in the garden in the morning and evening within sight of the living area. That's definitely a huge advantage with the kids. Thank you!
