Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Schaffhausen District

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful villa in Gerlodswil, Switzerland, and it was a truly unforgettable experience. The villa's location was fantastic, surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty, yet conveniently close to shops and restaurants. The accommodations provided the perfect balance of comfort and luxury, with a private swimming pool and a balcony offering stunning views, which became our favorite spots during the stay. What stood out the most was how everything was exactly as advertised, making it easy to enjoy both the tranquility of the area and the local amenities. Nadja, the host, was exceptional. She was incredibly kind, supportive, and always available to ensure that our stay was perfect. Her warm hospitality made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. I highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful retreat in Switzerland. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

We were looking for a place to stay to host our guests privately. The apartment was perfect in this regard. Parking in front of the door. Restaurants within walking distance.

It was perfect, peaceful and beautiful surroundings. Very friendly hosts! I ate picknick in the nice garden. Very nice clean room and bathroom, coffemachine, space to park the car and close to the airport. Thank you so much!

Great house, in a nice very green setting, adapted to families, perfectly equipped. Fluid and responsive communication. Only small surprise: a few planes passages some days just above the house.

Daniel is one of the coolest host I met. he is very friendly and supportive. I find him as a friend rather than host. I recommended to this place.

We liked the house so much that we came back for a second stay. Perfect house and location for a family vacation. The house is clean, has lots of toys for the kids, is next to farms and close to the river for swimming. The owners are very kind and accommodating.

We came to Zürich to see Taylor Swift concert, and because of that, finding a place to stay was difficult. We lucked out with this beautiful apartment. The town is so cute and charming; a relaxing break from the concert and city madness. The view was perfect, the beds were comfortable, parking was easy, the grocery store was nearby, and the kitchen was well-stocked. Even the drive to and from Zurich was pretty and relatively easy! We loved visiting the nearby castle and a local restaurant (Althaud). Definitely would recommend!

The place was exactly as pictured – clean, well-maintained and very well located. Roberto was a great host: extremely hospitable and available at any time if questions arose. Particularly noteworthy are the sauna with integrated stereo system and the clean hot tub – both made our stay even more relaxing. The large terrace offers plenty of space and privacy, perfect for unwinding. We felt completely comfortable and would come back anytime!

I was the second time at Eluard's place. It still very nice, quite, but very close to the city center and the main station, takes some minutes to the Hardbrücke station, and there is always a train within some minutes to the center. Also groceries stores and restaurants are in walking distance from the apartment. The apartment has its own entry directly from the street, so it feels like a city home. I can only recommend it.

Beautiful, bright, and spotless apartment in a fantastic, walkable neighborhood. Extremely well appointed kitchen made it easy to prepare meals. Transportation, grocery store, and coffee shop within easy walking distance. Host Mark was friendly and responded quickly to our questions.

This was one of the BEST apartments I have ever stayed in! It was so cozy and had everything needed for the perfect stay. It was truly the most well stocked apartment I’ve ever stayed in! The fact that it’s technically an attic makes it so charming, especially with the high wooden ceiling and view of surrounding cottages. Both the bed and couch were comfy, and we saved a lot of money cooking at home! We didn’t use the loft, but it’s yet another cute addition to the apartment. Gianna is an incredibly kind and friendly host, and she really made sure we felt welcomed. And before I even realized it, her husband had carried my 50lb luggage up the long winding stairs that led to the apartment! The only single downside is that the apartment is not in the city center so buses and trains have to be used, but the bus stop is across the street! It is well worth staying here, and I would absolutely recommend this apartment to anyone! ♥️

It was a very nice stay, though not big, the apartment has all that is necessary for a good stay (even coffeemachine, for example :) . The internet connection is excellent. Agnes was very attentive and made sure I could find everything I needed. The location is also very nice, you have fields to walk around within 20 minutes drive from the center of Zurich.

We were absolutely delighted with Katja's apartment. We have never encountered such a well set up apartment for a family but equally it would be so perfect for a couple or adults. Spacious, incredibly clean and super organised, stylishly decorated, modern and super cosy. Nice and cool in the heat yet beautifully sunny if all blinds open. We had a car & this was great location for going to visit many attractions both down town Zurich & also outside of Zurich. Local public transport also very convenient to this apartment. The garden is small but plentiful, lovely for sitting out and relaxing-so peaceful, a little oasis in the city. Secure private nice area. We loved Katja's apt so much. Our young kids were delighted with it. All the comforts of home. Highly recommended. Thank you so much Katja. 😃

What a beautiful place to stay! Spending time in outdoor garden was the highlight of our time in Zurich - it was full of beautiful flowers, fruit trees, and magical little spots that endlessly entertained my four year old. The kitchen was also very well stocked with an abundance of dishes, utensils, and cookware. Muriel was so friendly and welcoming that we felt right at home. Would love to go back some day!
