A lovely rental cottage on the shores of Lake Päijänne offers natural tranquility and comfort for up to 8. The main cottage has 2 beds and a sofa bed, the beach sauna has an extra bed. The wooden sauna, renovated in 2025, and the gently sloping sandy beach are suitable for families with children. A gas grill, a masonry, an electric sausage, a rowboat and fishing gear complete the equipment. Only 5 km from Muurame's services. The main cottage, built in the 1960s, has been at its coldest in winter, so the traditional scent and atmosphere of the cottage are part of the experience.

A winterized cottage with all the comforts on the lake shore. The cottage's upstairs and downstairs bedroom have double beds and the living room has a sofa that can be spread out to a double bed. The outbuilding has a wood-burning sauna and a sleeping loft with a double bed. (Bath barrel extra charge). Gas grill and wood-fired grill can be found in the yard and you can sit under the lean-to. Easy to get to by public transport. Skating rink in Vesankajärvi in winter and a sledding track. Disc golf course Vesala monttu 2 km, Petäjävesi 20 km. Laajavuori 9 km.

During the summer, you can see lush greenery and the branches of the yard maple through the windows, while in winter, the nearby Lake Jyväsjärvi glistens on the horizon. As a guest, you can enjoy peace and quiet in the coziness of a small house (40 m²). From the highway, you can reach our property by car in just a few minutes; we are located 3.5 km (2.2 miles) from the center of Jyväskylä.

Pihakammari is located in the vicinity of Alvar Aalto's home; Aalto's experimental house and Säynätsalo town hall are within a radius of 2-3 km, and Muurame Church is 7 km from the accommodation. The experimental house can be seen along the ice route. The accommodation has a kitchen equipped with dishes, a coffee and kettle and a microwave, as well as a refrigerator. Breakfast supplies are for you, go ahead. Traditional Finnish yard sauna for rent in the summer, with swimming in the lake. There's no wifi in the chamber.
