We loved the very warm stay at Sandra's and the whole family's ( Desire her husband her children, Jean Baptiste her daughters Manon and Elisa Julien her son-in-law and Doriane. Always ready to answer our multiple questions of all kinds... we are curious about everyone's customs... and there we were served... The room is spacious ( a good bed) with a beautiful bathroom, a beautiful view of the ocean and the cane fields. The place is very quiet and well centered to visit the whole south ( Chamarel Souillac Gris Gris Bois Chéri Grand Bassin The gorges of the Great Black River ( hike) Grand Morne...and the whole south coast. Everyone has taken great care of us. We felt at home so artistically decorated. Sandra had prepared a beautiful plate of pineapple upon our arrival and finally we were invited to come back from another residence to share Christmas Eve with all the family. Thank you all for the memories of staying at your place.

Ideal accommodation for a couple , very quiet neighborhood, I would highly recommend

We were warmly welcomed and had a nice stay. We came for 2 holidays and it complicated our outings including access to the supermarket and the various restaurants. Breakfast was brought to us by the host... a real plus for our two daughters who are a fan of fruit! I recommend this place if you want to visit the south of the island, you will be at the heart of Mauritian life.

Lovely villa with a nice pool, lush garden & direct access to the very long beach. Our kids loved feeding the giant tortoises, which live just behind the villa. Owners live nearby and are very nice - they brought us fresh home-growth mangoes. The place is peaceful, quiet, safe, private and virtually mosquito-free (we could peacefully chill in the terrace in late evenings). We especially enjoyed long evening walks along the beach stretching miles to both directions - it is very safe, hence we have also walked in the night counting stars. The "KOA" restaurant is withing the walking distance (along the ocean), while there are other restaurants & shops within the few minutes drive. The Black River National Park is in close proximity with its multiple hiking trails, lush forest & fascinating water falls. We really enjoyed our stay in this place and would definitely like to come back in the near future.

Dominique and Donald are very welcoming, the place is beautiful! The environment and the beautiful garden are perfect for resting in peace. The accommodation is superbly well-equipped, it feels like home. The hosts are extremely kind, very attentive and provide good advice. Go there without so much as a second thought!

Ingrid was incredibly helpful from the outset, communicated in advance and leading up to my stay, was great with recommendations & was helpful immediately when i didn't understand the child safety lock on the hob. Place was fantastically located with great amenities and restaurants, and La morne Anglers club right on your doorstep for those who like sport fishing or boat tours. very relaxed, pool and bbq area were great pool is bigger than it appears in the images and the marina is literally meters away, Mango trees in the carpark/forecourt. nice big fridge and freezer, which is great for chilling those drinks and a cool balcony for those warm evenings, air con&fan provided a great cool space when the temp soared, Soonam is their cleaner who attended a couple of times over my extended stay and was fantastic, although i should apologize to her as i couldn't finish cleaning the fridge before my transfer arrived early.. so my apologies and a tip in order for my next stay. Rebooking soon!

Clean, spacious, amazing beaches nearby, lots to do, really accommodating for excursions and anything you want to do during your stay

Our family of 5, including a 4 yr child had a terrible stay! The checkin and checkout timing was flexible! We arrived late at 7 pm and the host couldn’t welcome us in person. Instead they had the welcome meal left for us and greeted us the next morning! The location is outstanding you have a private access to the beach, a pool. My daughter loved the beach as it was easy to swim and under the rocks there were plenty of small sea creatures to view! Rooms were well described and clean! We used the kitchen and they everything we need to cook including sauce, oil and spices. The snorkeling equipment left in the room was a surprise. Stephanie’s place left us a great experience in our first time Mauritius visit!

Refurbished accommodation in a one-story house. The owner was flexible on my schedules, was responsive to my requests and was nearby in case of any problems. I would recommend the accommodation which is ideal and quiet.

The apartment was amazing. Spacious, comfortable and well equipped. We really enjoyed the pool. Arw was very helpful with everything. We were happy to stay here.

We stayed 10 nights at Neha‘s apartment with our two kids. It was our base to explore the island and the perfect place to came back after a day at the beach or hiking. The local beach is just a three minute walk away. Neha was super reactive and helpful. I can recommend it to everyone. The 5 stars are truly deserved.

We had the absolute pleasure to stay in Paul's apartment for 9 nights (while extending twice, because we liked it so much). The pictures don't do it justice as it is even more beautiful in reality. It is very well equipped, spacious and has a great terrace. The communication was brilliant and we highly recommend the apartment. Thank you very much for a great stay!

Christopher and team was everything you can ask for and beyond. We arrived late but then the guard was informed that we were coming and had the key. The guard also took his time to show us the apartment and surroundings. The next day both Marianne and Christopher came by to check that everything was ok and to provide recommendations on things to do etc. All in all, everything matched our expectations and some things even above expectations such as there was a cooked meal and breakfast items provided in the fridge on our arrival and that fresh bread was deliver to our door every morning. Can highly recommend staying with Christopher as host.

We spent a nice week of family vacation in Charming Condo, the place is very convenient 5 min walk from the beach, it has all necessary kitchen ware, the terrace-balcony is a great place to have breakfasts and evening snacks to enjoy the sunset. A wonderful stay at Dhareena's place, spacious and so peaceful! The neighborhood is very quiet and secure with very good restaurants nearby. The geographical location is really ideal. Dhareena was very responsive in our exchanges and very flexible for our arrival and departure, a big thank you!!! We just note a little effort to be made on the cleaning even if it did not affect our stay. Thanks again!

I had a truly wonderful stay at this apartment! Everything was spotless clean and well-maintained, creating a very comfortable and welcoming environment. The hosts were incredibly kind and hospitable - always ready to help with anything I needed, from local recommendations to making sure I felt completely at home. The apartment itself had everything I could possibly need, with thoughtful touches that made my stay even more enjoyable. Your search for the perfect place to stay in Mauritius has ended- Roumila's place is perfect, and she was such a great host- always helpful and never obtrusive. The apartment is beautiful, clean, and really became a home for us. The facilities are excellent, with the panoramic views from the rooftop pool an amazing bonus.

Outstanding!!! Can not recommend this place highly enough. Firstly the communication by host (Joel) was fantastic, always very prompt and helpful. Secondly, the apartment is perfect, 3 great bedrooms plus 2 large bathrooms, huge open plan lounge / dining / kitchen, lovely sunny balcony that looked out over pool (we didn’t actually use the pool but did look lovely!) plus an out of the way laundry just off the kitchen. The apartment had everything you need plus more!!! Thirdly, location was wonderful. Easy walking distance to beach, shops, restaurants etc The only sad thing about this apartment is that we had to leave it. If you’re planning a trip to Mauritius then you really must check out this apartment.
