Savage River cabins

Really nice place that’s super close to Wisp and has plenty of room for multiple families. Loved that they had toys for our toddlers already and the TVs were all smart so it was easy to stream shows. Super comfy couch too! Beautiful cabin with a great view. Definitely read the guidebook sent in advance - we overlooked parts and didn’t realize they don’t provide some basic necessities like trash bags. Great stay, great location just down the road from Wisp and would stay here again.

We had an amazing stay, it's a very well equipped cabin, in an amazing, beautiful and very quiet place, exactly the kind of retreat we were looking for. Great mountais view. The nearby town is also very quiet and receptive, where it's easy to buy food and supplies. Su and her husband are amazing people and always willing to help. I can't wait to go back.

This is probably our favorite Airbnb rental to date. Our family of four loved this house. It was clean, peaceful and beautiful and Susan could not have been a better host both in how responsive she was and how helpful she was in answering questions about the area. Deep Creek Creek is an awesome family friendly choice and if we come back to the area we will 100% stay here if it’s available.

The place is very cozy! It had everything we needed to spend some quality time. We enjoyed our early morning by the fireplace and ended the day with some fun boardgames and some star gazing. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet.

It is a beautiful peaceful place. It was great a great getaway for me and my wife to explore the world and enjoy some well needed relaxation. We will definitely be booking again next time we are in the area.

There are endless good things I can say about the place. Definitely would recommend for a big family/friends and pet friendly. It had plenty of room. More than we expected. Everyone felt at home. Plenty of fun activities to do at home. The lake was awesome. Did a little bit of fishing. The fire place was a good hangout place for end of the day activities. Definetly thinking about coming back! Kerri and Ken were very responsive when it came to figuring out any questions that we made have had! A huge thank you to them, not only for us but for future residents!!!

The condo was amazing very roomy with two bedrooms. The second bedroom is accessible via a spiral staircase. I would stay there again. Dutch's Restaurant is next door and is highly recommended. The lake views are awesome from the Silver Tree and Dutch's decks. Keith is a great host and was very helpful with communication prior to arrival.

Perfect ski-in ski-out on down under trail. Not a good ski in ski out for beginners. Beautiful views from all the decks. Functional well stocked kitchen. Great place for fuzzy friends. Solid gates around the kitchen. Very steep steps to loft bedroom.

Thank you for such an amazing stay! Your home was incredibly warm and welcoming for me and my family—we truly didn’t want to leave. The area was so peaceful and relaxing. We’ll definitely be booking again!

Wonderful place and location for a West Virginia get away. Lot's to do in the surrounding area. The house was extremely comfortable and the host has thought of everything. I will definitely stay there again.

We had a wonderful weekend at Whispering Pines. The home had beautiful views, great lake access, and was the perfect distance from the restaurants and shops. We visited in the off season so there were not a lot of boats out and it was very quiet. There were some light bulbs out and things of that nature, but again, it was the off season. Everything about the home was perfect and allowed us to get away and truly just enjoy ourselves. I would definitely be interested in staying here again in the future.

We came here for spring break and it was very nice, quiet, and peaceful. We loved the hot tub, the pool table, and the rocking chair. We had so much fun and made so many great memories. :)

We enjoyed our stay! The home is in a great location. We had some rain over the course of the stay which made having a roof over the hot tub very helpful. We also liked spending time in the basement with the pool table. Definitely would be interested in staying here again!

My family had a wonderful time at Serene Mountain Escape. The home is laid out so well, and great for multiple adults who want to spread out. The furnishings are very nice and comfortable. The home is equipped with every amenity and appliance you can think of which was so convenient! We picked the home in particular for the fenced yard for my dogs. It was a huge plus. They enjoyed the mini vacation too! Even though we didn’t have the best weather, we went hiking at multiple sites, took the Cumberland train tour, played lots of games, watched lots of movies, and enjoyed our family. Thank you for sharing your cabin! PS-your front door is so cool!!!

The house was excellent. Exactly as described, and exactly what we were looking for during our two week Christmas trip. We would definitely rent again.
