Waterfront vacation rentals in Saugerties

We had a wonderful stay at this well-located house in the heart of beautiful Saugerties. The home was spotless, situated right across from the serene frozen lake. Our kids especially enjoyed the arcade games. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

Our second time at Chris’s place and we plan to keep coming back! Well appointed, clean and comfortable Chris thinks of everything including cold water in the fridge and furniture covers for our dogs. The place is charming and the location walkable to eateries and good coffee. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Had a great stay — the location is ideal: walkable to a grocery store, coffee shop, and restaurants; private (set back from the street); and peaceful, with views of the Rondout Creek. The apartment is well kept and has a generously sized kitchen, great for cooking. Danylo communicates clearly and was helpful when I needed something. I’d be happy to stay here again. Bonus: Joppenbergh Mountain is just a 2-minute walk away, with trails for hiking, running, and mountain biking, plus a beautiful overlook of the Trestle.

This place exceeded our expectations in every way. The highlight was definitely the porch – we spent hours there listening to the birds singing and the gentle sound of the creek. It’s incredibly peaceful and restorative. The space itself is beautifully designed with clean Scandinavian aesthetics that feel both modern and cozy. Everything was immaculately clean, and we loved the thoughtful touches like the small collection of books that made it feel like a home away from home. The location is perfect for nature lovers. There’s a short walk to a creekside trail that’s accessible for all fitness levels – we enjoyed it multiple times during our stay. Our host provided excellent local recommendations that really enhanced our visit. Having the diner downstairs was such a convenience and made our mornings effortless. Great food and no need to venture far for a delicious breakfast. Our host was responsive and clearly cares about providing a top-notch experience.

Ed and Joyce were warm and accommodating (even left us homemade treats!) and very responsive throughout our stay. We so appreciated their help late at night when we had trouble getting in with the keypad! The lodge is wonderfully cozy and homey; bed was sooo comfy and the views from the balcony were such a treat. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

Definitely the most peaceful bnb I’ve stayed at! Right on the river, big yard with fire pits, not too far from the cute little town and a ton of nature surrounding. Was a great stay, Kelly was very attentive. Would definitely book this spot again.

We had a great say. Beautiful area. Tremendous lake which we enjoyed by kayak. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Nice sitting area outside and another on the front porch. We were here early June and so the eatery next store and another up the road were not open for the season quite yet. Great communication.

A truly magical escape. This sacred treehouse was absolutely perfect - peaceful, stunning, and deeply rejuvenating. Rob and Roberta were the kindest, most thoughtful hosts I’ve ever encountered on Airbnb. Their warmth made the experience even more special. From sunbathing on the rocks and meditating in the grass, to yoga overlooking the water and cooking local organic meals - every moment was magic. Already planning my return. Awesome property for a weekend getaway from the city. Sonny made this place into a fun playground - the pond is amazing, the hot tub, sauna, and back deck felt like a spa, and we enjoyed the fire pit and taking a short hike to the creek. The house itself is simple but has everything you need and we even managed to order Uber eats once from Kingston. The area is great, and we enjoyed the villages and a nice hike in the area. We will definitely come back.

This beautiful house in the woods was even better than expected - incredibly private, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. We loved just relaxing to the sounds of the nearby creek and playing music on the vinyl player - such a special touch. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully prepared. It’s also not far from Minnewaska State Park, which made hiking super convenient. Couldn’t have asked for more. We’d love to come back!

We had a great time at Brigham Place! It's a cute home in a quiet area on the creek. The decor was fun and eclectic and made for a great topic of conversation during our stay. It was overcast and rainy for most of our stay, but we didn't mind because the house was such a fun place to hang out. On our last day, the sun finally came out and the access to the creek was a game changer. We were able to use the kayaks and have a wonderful morning excursion on the creek. Also, William was so helpful and responsive before, during, and after our stay. It made the whole experience that much better. I would absolutely recommend this place to friends!

My boyfriend and I were looking for a relaxing weekend escape from NYC and couldn’t have picked a better spot. We came to explore Kingston but loved the house so much that we were just as happy staying in, playing games, and soaking in the cozy vibes. The home is beautiful and thoughtfully appointed — I can only imagine how magical it must be in the summer with the porch, or in the fall with the foliage. Even in late winter, it was idyllic. The location is perfect — just about 10 minutes from Kingston, so it’s super easy to pop into town while still feeling tucked away. We’d absolutely stay here again!

My husband and I had a wonderfully relaxing time at the Little Owl Teahouse. It’s a cozy and well-outfitted cabin with a super comfy bed and a great leather reading chair. Drank lots of the delicious mountain well water. Made breakfast in kitchen — love the pans and electric cooktop. Short drive to Woodstock for dinner. And oh the beauty of the surroundings - scenic views everywhere. Our two little doggies were happy to romp in the fenced in yard. Little too chilly when we were there but pool looks so appealing. Lisa is a proactive and super responsive host.

Excellent location with private pond. This home was truly built for a family gathering. Wonderful entertaining spaces, large fireplace with an expansive kitchen to cook in. There is a large game room with board games to suite all ages, billiards, croquet, and a small row boat for fun.

we had a lovely time at Seth’s cottage by the river. Everything was very well appointed and comfortable. I think the beds were the best I’ve had an Airbnb. There was easy access to new Paltz and kingston. I have no hesitation in recommending Seth’s place.

Perfectly set up and spotless. The unit is supplied with everything you could possibly need. By far the best organized, supplied and clean Airbnb we have ever stayed in.

A beautiful home. Felt comfortable and relaxing. Very well equipped. A nice small outdoor seating area to watch the creek and see wildlife.

5 stars, 5 stars, 5 stars!! I would just like to say I’ve stayed in many Air B&Bs before, and this one is by far one of my favorites. The hosts are absolutely amazing. They are proactive in responding and really want you be be comfortable and making sure you have no issues. The price was 100% worth it. I love that they included board games as a part of the space, such a nice touch. The bathrooms and bedrooms were also so clean, and we enjoyed our stay. You can really tell the hosts put a lot of love and care into this place. I can’t say enough good things about them!

Perfect place for skiers. Cozy and very clean. Very close to the Hunter mountain. Karoline helped me with places to eat and was very attentive. 100% satisfaction. I will definitely be back!

We booked the place for a family stay near Woodstock. It was easy to get in. There’s automated messages for every step of the stay with instructions which was very nice and helpful. We had a great stay in a worm and clean space. Would definitely go back.
