My husband, myself and our 4 small children have spent Christmas in this lovely house. Wow! Where an experience. The house is absolutely idyllic and unique. In addition, the house has everything you need The host couple were really nice. They helped make our whole Christmas and stay a great experience. The nature around the house is so beautiful. The house completely lives up to our expectations We'll be back soon

Thanks a million for this incredible stay! Your cottage is an absolute dream – perfectly equipped, cozy and with a stunning view of the water. We could have stayed forever! A special highlight was definitely the hot tub – just awesome! After a day in the impressive nature of Norway, relaxing there was priceless. The surroundings were also an adventure in themselves, we enjoyed every second.

The cabin was really cozy. Felt just like home. We spent the new year with the family, and had a beautiful time. The host was very helpful. Even he offered us to stay one extra night, given that we had an inconvenience with the car. They also have us a pair of skys to use with no additional fee. Sondre and Ivar, thanks a lot, and happy New Year!!!! 100% recommended!!!

Classic mountain cabin in great mountain terrain

Very nice, simple cabin, in the mountains. Can only be reached on foot, so take the essentials in a backpack with you. No water in the house, but with sauna you can shower well cold or there is the possibility to fill a pressure canister with hot water and shower so warm under the stars. We would have liked to have stayed longer!!!

Cozy & modern family cabin w/great location

We were five people with two toddlers and wanted to combine the fjord and fjell hiking experience with fishing for the first time in Norway. In Sauda we were centrally located and well suited for this. The place was clean and the living room, as well as the terrace, offered a breathtaking view of the Saudafjord. On the back were the mountains and invited hiking tours. Great that you didn't have to drive for that. Special and liked the well-equipped kitchen and the lovingly stocked games room. The furnishings were stylish and cozy as well as the pictures. There was a grill, a fire bowl, a fireplace and a seating area in front with enough space for 7 people. Overall, we couldn't have had a better place in this price range. There you can also do without a sauna and pool. The drive from the fjord to the mountain takes about 15 minutes by car. Shopping was but very possible in the sleepy town of Sauda. Book here!

Very nice and homey house! It was even nicer than we imagined. The children of 3 and 7 enjoyed themselves both inside and outside on the trampoline. Nice walking distance to playgrounds, water park and shops. We are happy to rent here again.

We spent four nights in Marith's lovely house, and it was probably the best Airbnb we ever had. It felt like moving into a museum, and at the same time like coming home. We immediately loved the house and were sad to leave it behind. A successful balancing act between tradition and modernity, comfort has been added while the old charm of the building has been preserved.

Hilde’s place is a real treat to stay at. Apartment is neat, modern, comfortable and tastefully decorated. It also has a good amount of space and could easily accommodate larger families. The surroundings are beautiful. If you like the outdoors this is a great place to explore from.

Large house in a prime location and with beautiful views. The absolute highlight is the quietly located boathouse, which is about 5 minutes away, incl. boat, canoe, SUP, etc. Communication with Conny was great and inquiries were answered immediately. Absolutely recommended!

We were 8 adults who have had a great stay in a rich basement apartment with an incredibly nice view. Short distance to Røldalterasse and the ski resort. Easter 2025 will be remembered as memorable and fun. Espen as a host has to be experienced. He just wanted the best for us. Very good communication. Would love to come back.

We had a good stay at Lene's place. The apartment is clean and very comfortable. The resort itself is private with beautiful surrounding. It is close to Røldal Skisenter and only 25 drive to Odda. It was really a cozy stay :)

Another excellent stay in this super Airbnb! Eli-Jorun is the perfect host and we really enjoyed our week! SO many kind touches like Easter sweets for our granddaughter, plenty of toys etc makes this our favourite place to stay when in Sauda. I also got to borrow a mix master and cake tin to bake a birthday cake. Thank you for a fabulous stay and we will be back! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We had a great time to the cabin. The cabin is very comfortable, warm and modern. We was unlucky with the snow, the sky center was closed, but enough snow for the kids:-). We definitely recommend this place. Ingrid was very helpful, great communication. We hope to be back again!
