You are renting the entire property. Parking is available for up to 2 regular-sized vehicles in the covered parking lot. You can park an additional car next to the building. Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine can be reached in about 15 minutes on foot after crossing the hill. There is a convenience store (mini-stop) within walking distance. The living room floor is made of natural wood (chestnut), which has a nice atmosphere and feel. You can also gather together in the spacious living room. This was a fantastic stay. We were folded right in with the family, which was very fun. The food was excellent; we enjoyed the demonstration of making our own soba. Any time we needed anything, Karin was so responsive and helpful. We especially appreciate her ability to speak English, which made everything so easy for us. Highly recommended!

Chieko’s place feels like a home away from home—now I see why she has so many amazing reviews, she is truly a 5/5 host! This was my first time staying with a host, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Chieko is the kindest, most generous host—always smiling and going out of her way to make sure I was comfortable. There were times when I was late (e.g. I said I’d be down for breakfast at 9 but didn’t show up till 9:30), she didn’t mind at all and just warmly reheated my food. She was very patient just like a family. Her home is clean and full of artworks, and you would get the entire second floor to yourself. Her cooking was also absolutely amazing and creative, and I have learnt a few cooking tips from her. The neighborhood is peaceful and safe, theres a kashii shrine and a lot of scenic sightseeing/hiking places if you love the nature - perfect if you want a break from the hustle of the city—however, getting downtown is still super easy. I’d absolutely come back:)

It was the best of all the accommodation reservations I've made through Airbnb. Tableware and kitchen utensils such as gas stove burners, microwaves, coffee pots, plates/cups are basic, and shower towels, skin lotion, cotton pads, toothbrushes, washing machines, etc... are really thoroughly prepared. Even a mobile phone charging cable is provided. (5-pin, C-type, iPhone, etc.) Also, the host is very kind and responds quickly. If you are traveling with 5 people, we recommend this accommodation. As described, it is within a 5-minute walk from Akasaka Station, so transportation is also convenient. (There are 5 beds, but there are a lot of fluffy blankets, so I think that if one person sleeps on the floor with a blanket, up to 6 people can sleep.)

As a first trip with friends Rather than booking a room in a hotel, I want to do it together. Search on Airbnb I was well accommodated in a very affordable accommodation With the thoughtful response of the hosts You always kindly answered my awkward questions. I like using Airbnb better. It would be better if there were amenities like a luggage scale for travelers!!
