A spacious log cabin by the lake, completed in 2000, about 30 minutes from Tampere! Location in the sympathetic village of Kutala on the shore of fishy Kulovesi in a sheltered bay. A landscape house has been built for the cottage in autumn 2025. The outdoor lighting has also been renewed and you now have Philips Hue lighting, which gives you bright white or, alternatively, lighting in line with the season's theme for the entire outdoor area. In addition, all the kitchen appliances in the cottage have been replaced (including the induction stove and the convection oven).

This getaway is for you who enjoy the tranquility of the countryside, sauna, swimming and boating. With an air-source heat pump, you can keep your cottage cool in hot weather. The ice hole is open all winter. The cottage is in the courtyard of an old farm, yet in its own peace. There is a nice 5 km walking loop around the lake. The closest cultural camps can be found in the summertime at Lauko Manor 14km away. The nearest shop and restaurant is 9km away in Narva. The cottage rent includes linens, towels, and tablecloths.

The lake and the adjacent rapids area are popular with fishermen. The Birgitta trail hiking trail and the Lempäälä canoeing trail run alongside. 2 km to the cross-country ski trails. 1.2 km to the train station, from which you can go to Tampere (12 min) and Helsinki (1h20min). Ideapark shopping center 7km.

Niemi-Kapeen Mustikka - Cottage by the lake

The cottage Mustikka is an idyllic cottage surrounded by spruce forest and lake Näsijärvi scenery. The cottage includes a living room-kitchen, wood-burning sauna with a shower and a sleeping loft. The living room has a sofa bed. The cottage has no indoor toilet so you'll get to experience the Finnish outdoor toilet. The drinking water is provided separately but the cottage has warm tap water. Ideal beach for swimming and in winter you can ski on a lit or icy road. The property accommodates 6. 2 people in the bedroom, 2 people on the sofa bed + 2 people in a separate guest cabin.

House on the shore of the fishy Mahnalanselkä. A peaceful rural location, yet with good transport connections in many directions. A garden plot where the sun shines almost all day. You can admire the sunset from the lake thanks to the rowing boat, two kayaks and two paddleboards at your disposal. A long, shallow, soft-bottomed beach heads west. The wood-fired sauna offers good steam. Use of the outdoor hot tub must be arranged separately. Fully equipped kitchen.

Private guesthouse with sauna

You will be staying in a separate house built in the late 1800s, which has been renovated in recent years into a relaxation space for our family. In addition to the sauna, the space has a small refrigerator, coffee maker, kettle, breakfast dishes, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, towels, blankets, pillows, bed linen, video projector, games, reading and a poorly tuned guitar. A children's travel cot or a sister's bed on the floor is available upon request.
