Smart Luxury Comfort Zone Gensan

To the Host Sir Al, what a great time I had at your place in polomolok. The place was exactly as advertised. Tidy, clean, comfortable, close to everything I needed to be close too. Easy access for check in. Things in the cupboards I never thought about wanting or needing at a short term rental. I don’t expect much when I go to a short term rental, especially one that came in at this price, but this place exceeded my expectations. I thank you for having us and Definitely I will be back! Thank you 😊😊

JPearls Place

Pearl & Jorick were fantastic hosts! Their unit was exactly as described in the listing. We initially booked for three nights, extended for another seven, and ended up staying for an entire month. Since I work nights, I love cooking for my wife and daughter during the day, and the fully equipped kitchen made it so easy. The bathroom was also very child-friendly—our four-year-old daughter even learned to use the toilet independently because everything was within her reach. The peaceful surroundings provided great privacy, allowing us to fully relax. Even tho the unit is a bit far from Gensan’s city center, sikads and tricycles were always available. We even went out at 3 AM and felt completely safe. A nearby convenience store, internet café, and laundry shop made daily errands hassle-free. Being inside a subdivision was a bonus—our daughter loved playing at the playground, and I enjoyed watching basketball at the covered court. We truly loved our stay and highly recommend this place!
A clean bathroom features modern fixtures and a central toilet. Brown and beige tiled walls extend from the floor to the ceiling, complemented by an overhead shower head. A small window is positioned high on the wall, allowing natural light to enter the space.

I had such a wonderful experience during my stay! The owner was incredibly friendly, humble, and genuinely welcoming. From the moment I arrived, I felt right at home thanks to their kindness and warm hospitality. They truly went above and beyond to make the stay comfortable. The place itself was absolutely lovely—very clean, peaceful, and relaxing. It’s the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy some quiet time. Everything about the accommodation was very, very, very good! Highly recommended, and I would definitely love to come back again.
Four dark amber bottles labeled with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soap are arranged neatly on a light quilted surface. A small potted succulent adds a touch of greenery next to the bottles, contributing to a tidy and inviting aesthetic.

What i love about the place was everything was complete even the food! clean place and very responsive host. Since we are not that familiar with the place, he really helped us by giving clear instructions. the only challenge was the transportation since its quite far from the village entrance and there are only a few tricycles especially at night but overall, it exceeded my expectations. we really felt comfortable during our stay. :)

Balai ni Marie - 1 br and 2 t&b near GSC Airport

Great place. I'd definitely stay here again. The neighborhood has a good place to play basketball nearby. If the grab driver has issues finding it tell him it's behind Barangay Hall. Also not too far from the Airport.
A spacious interior view of a traditional nipa hut is captured, showcasing a thatched roof supported by bamboo beams. An open window frames a lush, green landscape with tropical trees and a flowing stream just outside, inviting the sounds and sights of nature inside.

Sunrise view hut overlooking the river & farm #3

We took a gamble by travelling to Mindanao but we were well rewarded, thanks Wesley, Marissa, Yan and the rest of the team. The place is simply amazing and very quiet during the weekdays. We enjoyed seeing the goats and chickens roam around during the day. There plenty of nice sitting areas with power sockets. We never felt unsafe but extremely welcome. Locals we always very enthusiastic to meet us and often asked to take a photo with us. Our hosts organised a visit to Marissa's family for a lunch in the jungle. Which was an absolute highlight for us. We tremendously enjoyed the food as well as the nice views and village visit after the meal. We also recommend walking around the area by yourself, including to the small village behind the property. (Follow the river road next to the brick propety wall. The village does not show up on the map.) The waterfall walk that was recommend to us was also worthwhile and Yan was a fantastic guide.
