Accommodation exactly as in the photos, calm location, practical because it is a few meters from a market and other points of interest. About 10 minutes drive from the center of Guimarães. The self check-in was super practical and with the password we had access to the safe with the keys. The house was extremely clean and the central heating was certainly a differential, giving the necessary thermal comfort on the colder days we were there. When we reached the site, the house was already heated! The kitchen is well equipped and has served us beyond what is expected. The garage accommodates a large car well, since it has a table for conviviality. It is a great accommodation for the family. If you seek tranquility with comfort, this is the ideal space.

On our trip to Portugal, the Douro Valley was the highlight of the trip from the storybook views to the spread of freshly picked cherries, homemade preserves and wine awaiting our arrival to the cleanliness and comforts of a beautiful home perched high up on the vineyard terraced hills. The game room was an incredible surprise - there are seven eighties arcade games along with a ping pong table, a foosball table and an infinity game with over 150 board games built into the table. The hospitality was second to none. Gabrella, the property manager, was one step ahead of us ensuring that we had everything we needed to make our stays one of the most memorable. Sephi, the owner, is one of the most generous people we have ever met. His passion for region and willingness to offer his time to you is amazing. We spent one morning touring his winery, learning the old way of making wine and enjoying the fruits of his labor – an extraordinary experience not a just another Air BnB.

We spent a week in Apúlia for a family vacation and it was absolutely wonderful! The beach house is located right by the ocean – the view is breathtaking, and the whole place has an amazing atmosphere. The house was very clean, well-equipped, and situated in a peaceful, quiet area away from the center of Apúlia. The host, Luis, welcomed us personally and gave us a tour of the house – a very warm and kind person. There were seven of us, even though the house is meant for six people, but Luis kindly arranged an extra bed for our teenager without any problem. The place has a unique charm – we spent hours on the terrace just watching the ocean, grilling fresh fish we bought in Apúlia, and enjoying the peace and quiet. We highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings. We would love to come back! The beaches in the area are absolutely stunning. There’s also the Apulia Surf School in town, which we highly recommend!

When we first saw Mario’s place and the fact it was a perfect five stars from all previous guests - it was difficult to believe. But we immediately upon arrival understood why this was a perfect 5 stars…this is an incredibly special property - from the streams, waterfalls, history as an olive press, trails, peacefulness - this place was absolutely one of a kind. All in our group agreed this place, of all the places we’ve stayed in the world, was truly truly special….if we could give more than 5 stars - we would. Mario and Cila were fantastic hosts and incredibly responsive and the amenities and nice touches throughout made us feel right at home - better than home. Such a wonderful stay.

I’d wholeheartedly recommend it to fellow wanderers in search of a retreat that feels like a well-kept secret. Tucked just beside the city park — itself a green slice of heaven — the location strikes a perfect balance between seclusion and convenience. And waking up to the commanding view of Penha? Absolutely worth every blink of dawn. Our host was wonderfully attentive, greeting each morning with fresh pastries — a thoughtful ritual that quickly became one of our favorite parts of the stay. The home was exactly as described, with all the amenities you’d expect and one you might not: a lovely swimming pool, ideal for lazy afternoons and unhurried conversations. I’ll certainly be returning to this peaceful hideaway — it's the kind of place that stays with you long after you’ve left. A heartfelt thank-you to the host!

On arrival, very warm and available welcome from Mr. José. Mr. and Mrs. Antonio (the parents) are very friendly. My son, daughter-in-law and 2 grandchildren were delighted with their stay. The house is very clean, peaceful place in the middle of nature, linen available as needed. Mr. Antonio's wife took care of washing the laundry, ironing it and leaving the basket in front of the front door. Garden vegetables were offered. We are very satisfied with the booking and recommend this place.
