Waterfront vacation rentals in Santo Antão

Apartments worth recommending. Everything was as described. Close to the center of Ponta do Sol. A washing machine is a plus. At least a small fan would be useful. Unfortunately, the cleaning ladies did not take care of new sponges and cloths. The ones they left behind were disgusting.

Very spacious accommodation, fairly well-equipped although we couldn't find anything to dry the laundry. Building very exposed to the wind and poorly sealed windows. The pool is unusable out of season unless you are motivated by very cold water. Geographical location far from the center of Mindelo, but easily accessible on foot or by taxi. Very friendly and smiling reception and security staff. Comfortable but quite impersonal accommodation.

Spacious apartment, nice location, good communication with Berthyl and Ana, kitchen with enough equipment to cook. We had a good time.

Great place with a great view! Quiet and peaceful. The only thing i would suggest is change the single beds to doubles. They are to small for adult size people. Other than that it was a great stay

Very nice space, in the center of the village, which gave us a good stay and good times, despite needing some maintenance. We were greeted by Gabi, who was available when we needed it. We leave a thank you to Veronica (Bar Pedra Balea), Gabi's sister, for her culinary gifts, the fish mass was divine. Thank you Odile.

Liliana is a very heartwarming host, quick to respond to your questions and helpfull in aiding your trip around Saõ Vicente. Couldn’t have wished for more. About the appartment. It is located right on the sea board. A beautiful and tranquil place to enjoy the ocean, read a book and at night you have an amazong view of the stars. There’s a garden with a lot of shade and place to relax. Right next door there’s a small turtle sanctuary and you can make a roundtrip by foot around the vulcano. So enough to do for everyone. Inside the appartment is very clean, tidy en cozy. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Olavo is a treasure and has taken care of everything. It's fantastically beautiful, you can even hear the sea rustling. We would always book again!

We had a lovely stay at Carlo's house and enjoyed his hospitality. The view is amazing and the house well equiped. Supermarkets, hiking spots and the town are all nearby - which was very conveniant. Great place to stay during visiting the valley!

House is situated in a remote village near the sea. The house has an ocean view and is 10m from the sea, you’ll literally hear the waves crashing against the rocks from your bed. Super peaceful place. Very responsive and helpful host. Be aware that restaurant options are limited in this town and you’ll be eating either fish or chicken + vegetables and rice and you need to make a reservation beforehand. Additionally mini markets don’t have a lot on offer either so you’ll have to make due with less than you might be used to compared to other places on the island.

Evaristo personally welcomed us to his beautiful and spacious beach house. From the upper floor we had wonderful views of the beach, the sea and Santo Antão from both the room and the outdoor kitchen/lounge. Within walking distance there are a few mini-mercados where the essentials are available. Except for a few day guests at the beach and restaurant Chez Zoe, there are hardly any tourists. The locals are kind and authentic. The connection with Aluguers to Mindelo works great (frequent connections) and is a great experience every time. Baia das Gatas can also be reached with a little luck and negotiation skills with Aluguers. Evaristo also gave us very good contacts via which we could organize excursions for a boat tour or for snorkeling directly from Salamanca.

Perfect. We had a really good stay. The flat is calm and comfortable. I recomend it definetly!

The stay could not have gone better. After a stressful flight, Sr. Maurits' hospitality helped us embody the spirit of the island. He recommended the best restaurants and attractions to us, helped us and was available for everything we needed. As for the apartment, excellent location in a prestigious area, newly built, all amenities, products and decoration heavy on detail. 5 stars aren’t enough, Mr. Maurits and his apartment deserve every blessing coming their way. nice, spacious and clean stay. you have no locked feeling due to the many light inside and the balconies available. Everything you need is available. you walk to the beach in no time. If you want to explore the area, you can get on the bus that stops in front of the door or grab a taxi. Plenty to do in the area: restaurants, playground, museum and the city center can be reached within 5 minutes by taxi. + clean + friendly and helpful + security available + lively environment + supermarket nearby - high stairs to get to the apartment building. (There is an elevator in the building itself. Would get a key to be able to take the elevator downstairs via garage due to the stroller. In the end, it was not necessary. - can be heard a lot of wind in the house on windy days. solved with a cloth for the grate so it could no longer be heard in the house - balcony doors couldn't be locked (no problem was 8 high)
