Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Santo Antão

Very nice space, in the center of the village, which gave us a good stay and good times, despite needing some maintenance. We were greeted by Gabi, who was available when we needed it. We leave a thank you to Veronica (Bar Pedra Balea), Gabi's sister, for her culinary gifts, the fish mass was divine. Thank you Odile.

Liliana is a very heartwarming host, quick to respond to your questions and helpfull in aiding your trip around Saõ Vicente. Couldn’t have wished for more. About the appartment. It is located right on the sea board. A beautiful and tranquil place to enjoy the ocean, read a book and at night you have an amazong view of the stars. There’s a garden with a lot of shade and place to relax. Right next door there’s a small turtle sanctuary and you can make a roundtrip by foot around the vulcano. So enough to do for everyone. Inside the appartment is very clean, tidy en cozy. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Evaristo personally welcomed us to his beautiful and spacious beach house. From the upper floor we had wonderful views of the beach, the sea and Santo Antão from both the room and the outdoor kitchen/lounge. Within walking distance there are a few mini-mercados where the essentials are available. Except for a few day guests at the beach and restaurant Chez Zoe, there are hardly any tourists. The locals are kind and authentic. The connection with Aluguers to Mindelo works great (frequent connections) and is a great experience every time. Baia das Gatas can also be reached with a little luck and negotiation skills with Aluguers. Evaristo also gave us very good contacts via which we could organize excursions for a boat tour or for snorkeling directly from Salamanca.

We enjoyed the cottage. The simplicity… that's all you need. The 9 days we sat here sometimes slipped by reading, talking and watching. In addition to of course the beautiful walks. The sparrows, the cricket and the sound of the crashing waves, the rustling of the palms. Really seeing a bougainville and the bird of paradise flower. Everything is in the village and within walking distance, shops, restaurants. Marie- Hélène took care of everything and regularly came to ask if we needed anything. We feel safe and at home.

We had a wonderful experience! Our host was incredibly attentive, always ready to share amazing recommendations that made our trip even more special. The delicious bread and local queese was a warm and welcoming touch that made us feel at home. The house is beautiful, cozy, and perfectly located, close to everything. We couldn’t have chosen better! Highly recommended.

There were 10 of us (including 2 little girls) staying at Pierre's and we had a wonderful vacation at his place. The house has a lot of charm, is large and well-equipped, there is even a double rooftop with a beautiful view of the laginha beach. Pierre is super nice and full of good advice. Kizy is super nice. I love Diva's home in Mindelo! I will surely be staying again on my next visit in a few monthes! Great amenities such as a private pool and playground for kids to play and 24 hour security made me feel safe! Great find in Mindelo highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay at Carlo's house and enjoyed his hospitality. The view is amazing and the house well equiped. Supermarkets, hiking spots and the town are all nearby - which was very conveniant. Great place to stay during visiting the valley!

Unforgettable stay in this lovely haven. The beautiful house is located by the sea with a lovely pool as in the photos. Not only the house and very pleasant but Anny is a very welcoming person, in sharing and human experience. She also has a good network/knowledge and a small team to make the stay easier (drivers to take you and pick you up from the departure/arrival points of the different hikes; evening meals prepared by Isa, Verdian cape for a maudique sum and excellent, much better than at the restaurant). I travel a lot and can assure you that I have rarely met such hospitality and this range of service without forcing. I leave with great memories and new friends! Thank you again!

Accommodation with lots of charm, nice little village.

Very comfortable apartment 5min from Mindelo. Hosts were always helpful and responsive. I only recommend not to leave things on the balcony because they fly.

Everything was great, a small apartment but with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Nayz even helped us find a taxi to tour the island, even though he wasn’t in Cape Verde at the time. He responded very quickly and was super friendly. Nothing to complain about, it was perfect. I’ll definitely come back. Thank you!

Great place to stay in Mindelo if you want to have both - the beach and a beautiful view on the ocean from your apartment and to stay close to the central part. It’s 10 min away. Spacious, very clean and stylish place with everything one needs. The only thing that I would add is tea spoons)) but who cares ) Great host who has arranged an earlier check in at our request. And also the hosts representative was great and helpful! Also, the apartment is very close to the terminal where ferries leave to other islands. The best choice to stay in Mindelo.
