I visited with my husband and daughter and all 3 of us agree that this is one of our favorite all time places. There was a perfect balance of being in nature and comfort. The architecture and natural surroundings are one of a kind. There is so much to explore in the area and the only problem was that we both wanted to stay on the property and explore. I also cannot say enough about how excellent the restaurant was. The food was truly outstanding, one of us is a vegan and it was not problem, the menu changed daily which was incredible and we were able to try different dishes. The care that goes into everything from the thoughtful design, the care and reverence for the environment and every single person that works at Punta Pajaros is incredible and we really appreciated it. Thank you for sharing your special spot with us. We feel so lucky to have visited and are already plotting a return.

The room was spacious and equipped with a lovely bed with mosquito net. You can shower outside after a day at the beach. Because the accommodation is completely in the sand, you will find yourself in a paradise. The hosts Alex and Max (and volunteer Léa) are wonderful people! You can do free activities with them such as fishing, leaving turtles free or going on a bioluminesz tour. A stay here is guaranteed cozy (if you are open to this yourself).

This place has all the benefits of staying at a first-rate hotel, but with complete privacy, as if you were in a cabin of your own. Worth it in every way.

Casa Cosmos was incredible! Waking up to take a plunge in the pool, spending the day exploring nearby Casa Wabi and the beach, and catching sunset on the rooftop, followed by gazing at the stars. Claudio was such a great host and we so appreciated having Ana (the local concierge) for recommendations and tips, it was beyond helpful. Would stay again and again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Punto Pájaros! If you’re looking for a quiet, minimalist experience within nature, this is the place for you. The property is beautifully tended and incredibly peaceful. Staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Would strongly recommend to any friends.

We had a wonderful time in Chacahua and are grateful to Sandra and her team for an incredible experience. Sandra welcomed us like family, and we felt very well taken care of. The breakfasts were delicious and filling, and the stars at night were breathtaking! Casa UwU is a peaceful, low-key nature retreat that was exactly what I was looking for. My rating is 5 stars because this is truly an experience that I will always remember and loved every bit of it, but my husband struggled to be comfortable during our stay for a few reasons. - The accommodations felt rustic, almost like camping. - The rate here was similar to luxury stays we had in Puerto Escondido, and while it is likely that it is costly to bring in supplies/water to the island, the property has aged & could benefit from a rate change or updates to align with the photos. - The main bed provided was a smaller full-size bed, which was too small for two people. - The pool needed a bit more maintenance and was not properly clean.

Staying at Casa Monte is such a beautiful, unique experience. If you like design, architecture, art — this is the spot for you. The architecture of the home is incredible, and all of the custom details were so inspiring. It felt like a private oasis, tucked away in a very peaceful, safe, magical area of Puerto Escondido. Claudio is an incredible host and Ana, the local concierge, is so attentive and helpful. Loved our time here and would stay again.

Christian's place is great! Wi-fi was super reliable, no power outages and has everything you need for a long term stay!
