We needed somewhere right in the heart of Almeirim as we were both involved in a voluntary work for the whole month, so easy access to the town and park was really important to us. We could walk everywhere even though we had a car. Some excellent restaurants for lunch and dinner near the bullring. Also great value takeouts and cafes near by. The property was very well maintained and felt special… really enjoyed our stay and can’t recommend enough… absolutely fantastic.

Nice house, comfortable and very well equipped. It has a beautiful, spacious garden with a pool that was enough for us. This is a circular pool approximately 120cm deep. The porch with the bbq is wonderful. We spent much of our stay there taking advantage of no pesky insects like mosquitoes or wasps. There is the option to feed Kalifa which is the horse that is in the adjacent enclosure. We loved it. It's very quiet and very docile. The location of the house is in a very quiet village. Access is totally independent and the car can be stored. The garden and pool are both totally private. The location is excellent for visiting very interesting places such as Tomar, with the impressive Convent of Christ, the beautiful village of Obidos or the monastery of Batalha. Within a radius of just over an hour are places like Lisbon, Coimbra, Nazaré. Henri has been an accessible and very friendly host.

The park is very nice, it doesn't look as nice in the photos as it really is. The rooms are more spacious than what you see in the photos too. It was a nice stay, there is no noise, in summer the rooms are cool. We had a very pleasant stay. If you like peace and quiet, it's ideal. The barbecue area is very good, along with the pool area they are like two different patios, when the sun is overwhelming on one side, the other has good shade. It's a house to spend time in and go out to see other places, all between 30 minutes and 1 hour away.

Maria is an excellent host and always very attentive. Thank you for all the details (from coffee to dishes for the kids and cutlery for barbecue). There was nothing missing, a lot of bedding and towels, all the necessary utensils and not counting the care of the housekeeper who made sure to leave the garden and pool impeccable every day. Our stay was fantastic and we greatly appreciate all of Maria's attention.

I wanted to organize my birthday in a different place and which place I chose. Very nice space, bigger than it looks on the pictures. Everything was very clean and we were very well received by Ana who always showed great sympathy.

Very reliable venue all round. Good for groups of all sizes. Real sense of privacy but easy to walk out to shops and cafes. Lots of different spaces to hang out outdoors in sun or shade. Good for big bbqs round the pool. Bedrooms well equipped with hot, strong showers.

I loved the house of Carlota, celebrated my 50th birthday as a family , with all the amenities as if I was at home The pool is great as is the outdoor space. Very spacious house for groups . I really want to go back

The estate is superb and Darleen and Lieven are great people (as already described in several traveler reviews) with whom we have become friends. It's a good place to stay at Quinta das Camélias, surrounded by nature with a large swimming pool, fruit trees and many activities within an hour's drive that Lieven and Darleen will advise you on. The place has a very pleasant microclimate because the high temperatures of the day drop quite well in the evening which allows you to sleep well without the need for air conditioning.

Our working stay in Santarém was quite productive and pleasant. The house we rented proved to be an excellent choice: well located, spacious and with all the amenities necessary for our daily lives and for moments of rest after long hours of work. However, regarding the cleaning, we noticed that there was an odor in the rooms, possibly due to the woods or the fact that the house had been closed for a while. This odor was a bit annoying, but it did not significantly compromise our experience. Other than that, the kitchen, equipped with everything we needed, was essential to prepare some group meals, which also helped to strengthen the team spirit. Overall, it was a positive experience. With a little attention to the ventilation of the spaces before future stays, we will certainly consider this place for new projects in the area.

Amazing space. A great home to spend time with family and friends. Quiet and reserved location. Joana is an excellent host! The city has helped me a lot with effective and always on-time communication. I hope I can go back and enjoy this combo of friendliness and great accommodations again.

I was with my kids and they loved it. If you want you and your family to experience a getaway in the countryside, this place is perfect.

Pedro described the arrival in detail to us in advance and was always responsive and responded quickly. It also had very good tips. Upon arrival, we got fresh oranges from our own garden, which we also enjoy 2 days after the visit. Thank you for that! There is a stove in the property and an air conditioning / heater. There is a double bunk bed downstairs and a double bed upstairs. We slept in the double bed. Maybe it's important to know you can't sit upright when you're up. It's also a little clairvoyant but we had Oropax with us and slept well. Thanks again Pedro !

A very nice place to stay. Everything is clean, tidy, and matches the description. The pool with warm, salty water is excellent - especially enjoyable for evening swims. The BBQ area is convenient, and we spent a lot of time there. The kitchen is small but clean and well-equipped - perfectly fine for everyday cooking. The house is quiet, the beds are comfortable, and we slept very well. Check-in was smooth, and the hosts were always responsive. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would gladly come back again.

The house was perfect for our bachelor party! The location was ideal, cozy and discreet, which allowed us to make the most of our party without disturbing the neighbors. The house had all the necessary equipment for a comfortable stay, including a well-equipped kitchen and ample space to have fun. In addition, the swimming pool was a high point of our stay, allowing us to relax and have fun at the same time. What I liked the most was the flexibility and freedom that the house gave us. We could do what we wanted, when we wanted, without any restrictions or problems. Overall, the house was an excellent choice for our bachelor party. I recommend it to everyone looking for a comfortable and fun place to celebrate a special occasion.

The stay was great. The house was very well organized, had an outdoor space in which our dogs could be more comfortable playing. They were very attentive and always removed our doubts.

A very characteristic farmstay with a lovely atmosphere. The home was beautifully kept and has a private waterpump for fresh spring water. Lots of fresh fruits from the garden and fresh air make the vibe complete. The hosts are super friendly and responsive. It is also a pet-friendly stay (we brought our king size poodle) and perfect for escaping the city at half an hour from Lisbon (1hr from Sintra/Nazare). Overall an amazing stay!!! Highly recommend!!
