I loved staying at Marina’s place!!! The rooftop was perfect for a relaxing evening after a day of exploring. I loved the authentic Mexican decor and the bed was super comfy! Marina also did a great job with explaining the check in process and how to get to the air bnb including photos with descriptions going over everything. The neighborhood is also perfect,super calm and relaxing with lots of cute restaurants and parks ! It’s about 25 minute walk from the center of the city which is perfect because you can avoid all the crowds and noise. The walk to the center is super easy but if you don’t feel like walking,it’s also only a 5 minute uber and Ubers are super cheap in Mexico!

Ariadna was an amazing hostess—always quick to respond and helpful with any questions we had about the area. It would be hard to find a better location in the city, especially in terms of convenience to Centro and all the wonderful restaurants and tiendas nearby. The view from the terrace was spectacular. The house felt large and spacious. The linens were lovely and smelled fresh. We cooked a few meals and enjoyed eating them up on the terrace. Having laundry facilities right on the premises made us feel spoiled. We would highly recommend this place! Thank you, Ariadna, for such a wonderful experience!

The place is just as shown in the pictures, it has all the necessary items [iron, towels, kitchen utensils, soap, paper... and clearly not food]. In addition, the area is well known and visited, but when it rains very hard, water gets in through the cracks in the wooden windows.

We greatly enjoyed our stay in Maritere and Rodrigo’s place! While it is located a short walk from the center of town, and all of the activities and restaurants there, it at the same time was a tranquil respite from all the bustle and noise. The home itself is beautifully designed and decorated, and it is very well stocked with everything you might need to be comfortable for a few days, or much longer. Maritere and Rodrigo were excellent hosts, as well; they were always responsive and friendly, and we very much appreciated their flexibility with our reservation when we had to unexpectedly change our plans shortly before our arrival. We highly recommend staying there for your visit to Guanajuato!

An excellent place to stay... you have a lot of the essentials for a trip, two supermarkets nearby, Oxxo, bakeries, fruit shops, a market to find food 3 minutes away, the truth is everything is very close, ATMs or a bank, an excellent place, very quiet at night, and during the day because it is on the main street, very walkable. The place where you can leave your car very safely and very attentive. I will definitely be back, since the apartment was very clean upon arrival. Very hospitable.😀😀

The Guanajuato Experience was absolutely magical! Everything about it was charming from the location near the center of town, to the beautiful decor and layout, to the stunning views from the rooftop patio where you could hear the callejoneadas singing and watch the sunset over the town. The house was well appointed and comfortable with everything you need and Christopher and his team were exceptionally good at responding to questions. Definitely visit Guanajuato and definitely stay here. I will be back for sure!

The good: This charming rental unit is great for two traveling couples as both units were setup like 2 individual condos with small independent kitchenettes. Appreciative of the large water jug provided. The views were great from the bedroom space. The private patio was excellent for entertaining and hanging out where you can see the Funicular and The Pipila Monument. The AC was great and was easy to use with the remote provided. Walking distance to nice restaurants, coffee shops, and the town square. I’d recommend this unit and would stay here again. The bad: Stairs were a little overwhelming after a long day of traveling. (Not your fault but be prepared to traverse stairs and hills in GTO City) The restrooms are located down stairs which made it a small inconvenience to use especially in the middle of the night. Shower had plenty of natural light but water pressure was dismal.

The house was absolutely amazing! Great views, we all had our own bathroom which is always great when traveling with a big group. Only trouble we really ran into was accessing the home, I think the lock was malfunctioning but the host got us in. The pool was a great the kids really enjoyed it, it is in the deeper side so make sure to take flooties. The neighborhood was quiet and it being gated makes you feel really safe. You could practically walk downtown but it is a lot of up hill and down hill so we used uber/taxi to get around which ended up paying 60-80 pesos each time. Also a lot of van transports pass by so easily you can hop on those as well. If I ever get the chance to visit GTO I would book here again.

Very friendly attention. Very good place. Highly recommended. The only point to improve: the water bottles in the room were expired and one of them had something that looked like mold. From there, everything is very nice. Very quiet place. There is no noise. Good part of the city. A 20-minute walk to downtown.

The experience at this Airbnb was really good. The beds are comfortable and everything was very clean, which is appreciated. The location is also a great point in favor. There are grocery stores, an OXXO and several places to eat nearby. If you come by car, much better, because there is a private street where you can park it without a problem. There is also a Pemex gas station just minutes away. Overall, a comfortable and conveniently located stay. I definitely recommend it.

Beautiful House in former Hacienda de Durán

Hoping to return to Guanajuato one day just to stay in this magnificent home. The photos do not do it justice. This unique, charming, historic, beautiful, comfortable, clean home added so much to our Guanajuato experience. The walk into town is about 20 minutes downhill and interesting, and we three elderly folks managed the downhill and the stairs up to and inside the house without a problem. (The stairs to the third, separate bedroom are quite steep). We easily caught a cab back to the house for a few dollars. The host was very responsive when we were confused by the lock, and we were so happy to have met her. She shared so much with us about Guanajuato. We were very pleased with our decision to stay here rather than in the Centro or in some modern condo. There is purified water and coffee available.

We returned home happy to have enjoyed the accommodation, food, tours, a beautiful city and a very pleasant stay. Thank you very much for all your attention. 100% recommended. Mr. Emmanuel and especially his father, who was the one who welcomed us and saw us off. God bless them. They were attentive from our arrival at the station until we said goodbye.

Excellent accommodation, the house is very nice with excellent lighting and good spaciousness. Very close to the center and amenities, you can do it all walking without having to use your car at all. We're all very happy to have stayed at that place.

The accommodation is as advertised and even more beautiful than in the photos. It has great mountain views and the area looks quiet. It has everything you need to make your stay cozy. I think it's perfect for families. There are enough bedrooms and beds, I found it very spacious and all the amenities worked. The mattresses are good. It's about 15 minutes from downtown by car. The host provided us with the phone numbers of a taxi stand very close to the accommodation that takes you to downtown Gto. The host was always attentive to us and was very kind.
