Waterfront vacation rentals in Santa Monica State Beach

Stunning home in such a prime location! Right across from the beach with two patios for people watching or watching the sunset. Easy to walk to any and everything from free aquariums to local restaurants. The space itself was exactly as pictured if not larger and from beginning to end the host was very responsive and helpful. I would definitely recommend booking if you see this spot available!

We had a great stay! The place was very clean, check-in was smooth, and communication with the host was excellent. The location is perfect—just steps from the beach and near public parking, which made everything super convenient. We also really appreciated the thoughtful welcome treats. Would definitely stay here again!

It had everything I needed for a relaxing stay, and the location was perfect—close to great restaurants, the beach, and local attractions. Great stay!!!! This apartment is perfect location, easy access and the view from the room is magical The studio was very clean, and having the window open with fresh ocean air was great! The kitchen was well stocked with the basic necessities, and a 5 min walk to Trader Joe’s was helpful to stock up on some great snacks and meals Chris was a great host, very responsive and helpful I will be sure to check if this place is available for our next trip to Santa Monica

A cozy and nice apartment very close to the beach and good restaurants nearby. We were actually sad that we stayed for only 2 nights and would have loved to stay longer.

I had an amazing stay at this property! The location is absolutely perfect, just a short walk to the beach, shops, and a great selection of restaurants. The space itself was spotless and beautifully maintained. Everything felt fresh and inviting from the moment I arrived. The beds were incredibly comfortable, which made it so easy to relax and get a great night’s sleep after a day of exploring. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect beach getaway!

What a wonderful stay with a beautiful beach front! Parking wasn’t too bad although we had to walk a bit each night which is due to our fault leaving early morning and coming back at 11-12 at night so of course closer parking is not expected but there is a nice area to ensure we can park temporarily for luggage unloading etc. The shower was absolutely amazing and I always looked forward to taking one! Kim was an amazing host and very responsive! I def recommend and would 100% go back!

Everything was great!

We've stayed at many AirBnBs over the years, and Debra's place will always stand among the best. An easy, charming walk to the beach is a highlight, for sure, but the house itself is larger than we expected. The owners retreat at the back of the house is quietly set back from the front of the house and the other two bedrooms, allowing for privacy for parents and teens, and we had ample tables and chairs to do our work, our reading, and our planning for day trips. Easy drive to/from the airport, exceedingly walkable to pretty much anything you'd want or need, and parking on-street was consistently easy, right in front of the house. Debra is an ideal host: careful, thoughtful, fun, kind. She made us the best lemonade on earth from the lemons on the tree out front of the house. The hummingbirds were active throughout the day, and watching them at the kitchen window was idyllic. The gardens in the back of the house were amazing. Hard to not say more: a truly great stay!

A unique and lovely house close to the action but in a peaceful setting. The front garden is a magical oasis that I did not want to leave. House had everything you need for a great stay.

This property lived up to everything promised and more. It was clean (and I am picky!), well located, and easy to access by following the detailed instructions. Our guests, as well as ourselves, were comfortable with the beds and furnishings. The kitchen was well stocked and the towels, linens, and little extras were all appreciated. All of us that stayed had no problem with the stairs. If anyone planning to visit has mobility issues, you might want to look elsewhere, but that is the ONLY reason not to book a stay at this wonderful Air B&B. Also, nearby parking was not in issue for our guest who parked nearby on a clearly marked public street (not in the alley behind the property). Thanks Clifton!

Victoria was an amazing host! Very communicative and such a kind heart. The fires were happening in the north and our friends we were meeting at her house, came in a day earlier and were staying in another hotel close to fires. She offered them to come a day early to get away from the smoke!! Her house was south of fires, so we were OK here. She then offered us a late checkout as our flight wasn't until 8pm at night. This was so welcome as we have young children. She really went above and beyond! Her place is very homely and great to be close to the beach. Thank you for everything Victoria :)

Great host, not only is Matt’s place amazing, but he is a top notch host! Truly cares about his guests and quick response times! The house was incredible kitchen had all supplies so I was able to cook without missing anything! The fire pit and BBQ on front patio allowed for amazing memories! The rooftop patio, perfect for the morning sun! Walkable to Main Street and the beach! We never had to drive anywhere! Will definitely be staying here again!

We are a construction company. We are doing an emergency work in the area. It was nice to come to a place. It was comfortable and pleasant. Hopefully to book it soon again we’re gonna be there for a while in the area.

We loved our stay at Roxanne’s Casa! It was a lovely home and great space both outdoors and indoors. We found that San Pedro is a well kept LA secret. We will be back again and look forward to hopefully staying in Roxanne’s place - ps The port of Los Angeles is incredible!!!!

This was an amazing place to stay. So close to the beach, restaurants, stores, and was easy to get in and out of the area. Sam is a great host and worked well with us if anything came up. I would highly recommend staying here.

Yese is a very responsive host. Her place was absolutely beautiful, clean and in a perfect location. I was able to cook several meals in the well stocked kitchen and it was easy to feel at home in this place. We would stay again!

This condo was very beautiful and the views from the living room and dining room were amazing. Our only thing is we didn't realize how steep the stairs were, and my mother couldn't climb them, so she had to stay somewhere else. Then we checked out. So, we paid for something we couldn't enjoy and that was sad. Not even a small portion of a refund was offered to us.

Best location in Manhattan beach on the strand directly in front of the ocean. Our stay was perfect. Would love to stay at Tony’s again.

Nico was an exceptional host — everything described on Airbnb was spot on. He even provided us with laundry pods to use in the building’s laundry room, which was such a thoughtful touch. The location is fantastic, within walking distance to the Pike, Pine Street, the Convention Center, Aquarium of the Pacific, and more. My wife and I will definitely be back! A beautiful condo in a beautiful location. Views for days! Plenty of room with the beach at your feet. The ocean breeze makes up for no AC. Plenty to do in the area or you can relax on the deck. It really is a wonderful place to stay.

absolutely STUNNING!!!! pictures do not do this place justice and the waves that crash up makes the world's most peaceful sleep!!! My husband LOVED the shower the water pressure was the best and the water got super hot! beds were comfy, everything was clean and neat, parking was private and everything was exceptional!! thank you so much

Maya’s place was awesome! It was walkable to great restaurants and the beach, and Maya was helpful and responsive to all of our needs.
