Las Haciendas, Villa 4.

NikiRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We loved this villa! Would be the perfect honeymoon spot though our family of 6 felt right at home, too. It’s a group of villas professionally managed with staff on site, but still felt very private and comfortable. The villas all face a fenced in courtyard (Casa Blanca vibes) though we only saw one other group one time. They provided a water cooler with big blue jugs of water that was invaluable with all the hiking we did in the area. We even ran out and one quick message and they replaced it within 10 minutes. The whole villa was very clean, updated, and had everything we needed. Can’t recommend it enough! We’re staying in Hopkins now and I can already tell our San Ignacio stay is going to be hard to beat.

Double Bedroom Bungalow

AlisonRating, 5 stars27 months ago
Our family had a great stay at Vanilla Hills. Claudia was so helpful in booking excursions and transportation. We didn’t rent a car and found it easy to get taxis to and from the resort into town. The restaurant was amazing and the staff was very accommodating with our 5 year old daughters special menu requests. We loved the tranquility and would definitely stay here again if we return to San Ignacio.

Sanctuary at Paslow Falls-Belize

NicholasRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Great quiet and off the beaten path place! Pool area was out of this world! Jay recommended a local chef to come and prepare dinner for my wife’s birthday, and that worked out great! The property was very large and secure with a locked gate. A local herd of Brahman cows strolled down the road every afternoon to find greener grass I think. The road to Jay’s was a little bumpy but I understand it was primarily due to the recent heavy rains, but they were actively repairing it during our stay.

5 acre estate with pool in Mountain Pine Ridge

AlexandraRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Wow! The pictures are outstanding but nothing compares to seeing Kane Villas in person! We were blown away. The grounds are amazing and immaculately maintained. We rented all 3 villas for our family and enjoyed having the space and privacy. Catherine is an excellent host with outstanding communication, proactive directions and recommendations .Our only regret is we did not stay longer. Do not hesitate to book Kane Villas.

The Haciendas

PattyRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Las Haciendas was everything our group could have imagined and more. We rented all six Villas, so our group of 13 each had our own space. The villas were clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Leda arranged transportation to the villa, excursions, transportation to dinners and anything else we needed! She had wonderful recommendations as well. She was very quick to respond before the trip, as well as while we were there. We were greeted with cool towels and all our luggage was taken care of the minute we got there until leaving the last day. The water coolers were a great perk and the plunge pools allowed us to chill after a long excursion day. It was walkable to Cachal Ruins as an extra afternoon trip. I would HIGHLY recommend Las Haciendas for your group stay while in San Ignacio!!!

Fully AC Villa 2 Bedrooms with great Mountain View

NicoleRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We (family with 2 teens) really enjoyed our stay. The house is very beautiful inside. Parking was convenient. The set up with the main bedroom and bath on the first floor and second bedroom and bath on the upper floor suited our family well. The kitchen was clean and well equipped. We did note that the breakfast bar stools are regular height, so we felt like kids lol. The seating area is a bit limited with only a love seat and we would have like to have been able to hang out together. There are a couple of very noisy (2am) rooster, we would recommend a white noise machine if you come. Overall it was a great stay and we would definitely book again.

Suzie's Hilltop Estate

MarkRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Jameli’s house was great for our four day stay. You can walk down the hill and be into the heart of San Ignacio within a few minutes. Directly across the street from the house is a very nice hotel (where the Queen of Emgland has stayed) with a lovely restaurant and Iguana sanctuary. Jameli’s house has a housekeeper, Juan, who lives on premises and is very kind and responsive to any need you may have during your stay. We did guided tours for cave tubing, zip lining, bird watching, and Mayan ruins and each time the guides were at the house waiting for us at the promised departure time. Bugs were not an issue for us in April. There is no oven, stovetop, or dishwasher at the house but we made do with the toaster oven and electric griddle. The on-site laundry in each unit was great! Walk-in showers were a treat! Will hopefully be back again someday!
A single-level home with a welcoming entrance featuring a covered porch and steps. Lush greenery surrounds the property, with scattered fallen flowers across the grassy yard. Large windows are visible, allowing natural light to illuminate the interior while tropical trees provide shade.

3 BR house with patio, hammock & high-speed WiFi

RachelRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Really enjoyed this place overall. The gates and locks had us a little anxious that the location wasn't safe, but we realized after a few days that it just seems to be cultural of San Ignacio to have gates, bars on windows, etc. We walked the neighborhood at night multiple times to go to eat and never felt unsafe. Honestly not many people out. We did deal with neighbor dogs excessively barking the first night that kept all 4 of us awake and that was rather frustrating, but it didn't continue into the next 3 nights. I would say that it's POSSIBLE you're up because of neighborhood howling so keep that in mind. The space was lovely, clean, and well kept. We appreciated the cold AC in the bedrooms and the large living space. Hosts were communicative and we felt at home overall. Highly recommend walking to Authentic Flavors for dinner. It was so delicious and just a fun cool locally owned restaurant.

Casa Suzie

We had a great stay, was one of the best looking places in San Ignacio and even then exceeded expectations. The rooms were the cleanest we found in 10 days in Belize and the back porch/hammock area was a great communal space.

One Bedroom Bungalow

JessicaRating, 5 stars50 months ago
I did not want to leave this place! The property is so beautifully situated in the jungle, you can hear birds, monkeys and other wild lives all day long. We ate breakfast on the property everyday, what’s better than sipping your coffee and staring into all the lushness surrounding you and the pretty birds every morning. Claudia is super helpful providing us with all the information we need to know about the area and coordinating/suggesting things to do. Also the Infinity pool is a amazing, wish we had spent more time there. If it is your first time in SI, don’t get discouraged by the short bumpy road getting there, it is very well worth it, you won’t regret it.

Breezy 3BR Soundview | Pool | Balcony

JulieRating, 5 stars22 months ago
The location of this house is amazing, with views forever across the plain below. Ms Ellajean was extremely helpful and responsive, going well above and beyond any expectations. Air conditioning could keep up to us heat-wimpy Canadians. Local dogs were very very friendly, there were birds, geckos, and iguanas to watch. The kitchen is actually useable even for our large family. The pool is small but sufficient to cool off as required. For the price, this place is amazing!
A serene pool area is showcased, featuring clear blue water surrounded by a smooth surface, with trees and greenery in the background. The space is accented by a few chairs positioned nearby, providing an ideal spot for relaxation and enjoying the views.

Enchanting 5BR Mountainview | Pool | Balcony

Very lovely house up on a hill in Santa Elena with amazing views of the area. The pool was very refreshing to swim in after a long day exploring, and town was a very short drive with lots of restaurants and a market to stroll through. We also loved the dogs on the property. They were so friendly and would hang out with us on the patio every morning while we drank our coffee. I would stay here again for sure.

Charming 2BR Midas Resort | Pool | Patio

AmyRating, 5 stars34 months ago
We enjoyed our stay. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. The accommodations were as described. It was a nice location with a quick walk to everything in town and we were picked up at the front for our excursions. The beds were comfortable and the A/C worked well. They provided drinking water in the room. We enjoyed the use of the pool and bar area as well and the resident cats. We would definitely stay again. The only negative was the on and off internet but this was true of other places we stayed in Belize as well.
