The most popular destinations of our land's artistic and cultural heritage such as Scicli, Modica, Ragusa Ibla are easily accessible. Broadening our horizon, the Donnalucata vacation home is a good starting point for excursions to the beautiful archaeological sites of Syracuse, on the eastern side, and the Valley of the Temples of Agrigento, on the western side. Running towards the interior of the island, other easy-to-reach destinations such as Piazza Armerina, with the famous Villa del Casale, or Caltagirone with its artistic ceramics. And then there's the sea, our sea, to be experienced all year round for those who practice windsurfing, kite surfing, canoeing or sailing, but also just for walking (the beaches are endless) or for an off-season swim! We want our guests to discover a Sicily of colors, flavors, nature and art. Donnalucata vacation home is a family villa, it is inhabited on the first floor all year round by my sister who lives there with her family and three dogs enjoying the sunsets, the sea and the mild temperatures of our winter. Featuring a saltwater swimming pool and a unique view of the sea and the Irminio river valley, Casina Lanterne1 is one of two adjacent, identical studios, each measuring 32 square meters (344 square feet). On the ground floor, with a separate entrance, there is a kitchen-living room with a sofa bed, an induction cooktop, a wood-burning stove, and a bathroom. The loft area houses the double bed, and a single sofa bed can be added. The barbecue area, the pergola with kitchen, the swimming pool, and the outdoor bathroom and shower are for shared use.
