Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Santa Caterina dello Ionio

Ein schönes Haus mit tollem Pool und einem sehr schönen Blick auf die Berge und das Meer. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet. Mithilfe der von Monica übermittelten Koordinaten und Googlemaps haben wir das Haus leicht gefunden. Wir kamen in der Nacht an und die Fahrt mit dem Auto zur Wohnanlage, in der sich das Haus befindet, war etwas abenteuerlich, da es die Tage vorher und auch bei unserer Ankunft regnete und die Umgebung sehr dunkel war. Hat aber alles geklappt. Die Kommunikation mit Monica war einwandfrei und sie war sehr hilfsbereit. Supermarkt und Restaurants sind mit Auto innerhalb von ca. 15 minuten gut zu erreichen. Uns hat es gut gefallen, trotz etwas Pech mit dem Wetter. Aber nach 3 Tagen regnen wurde das Wetter schöner und wor konnten Kalabrien erkunden. Wir würden wiederkommen.

Tout est réunis pour passer un excellent séjour en famille ou entre amis: -La villa est très spacieuse, confortable, propre et bien équipée. -Le jardin est magnifique et très bien entretenu. -La Piscine privée, le jacuzzi, la vue panoramique sur la campagne montagneuse et le château médiéval de Squillace offrent un cadre douillet et relaxant. -La cote et les plages aux alentours sont très belles, les restaurants typiques. Et Martina et Thomas, par leurs conseils et leur bienveillance, porteront une attention particulière pour que ce moment reste spécial pour vous.

Het is een prachtig verblijf met een rustig privé strand. De omgeving is ook erg rustig. Fijne locatie voor als je privacy wilt, maar toch niet op genieten van de luxe. Maar zeker ook aan te raden met een gezin. Erg overzichtelijk. Het water aan het strand is helderblauw. We voelden ons erg fijn in het huisje!

Diese Unterkunft war wirklich TOP! Nur 5 min zu Fuß zu einen wunderschönen Strand. In der Wohnung hat es an nichts gefehlt. Quirico war stets erreichbar und sehr freundlich. Klare Empfehlung.

I spent close to 2 weeks recently at Laura’s place and I must say I found the home to be pleasantly immaculate in every way. The pictures she posted of the homes interior were just the way I found it upon my arrival. Everything was operational, modern, up to date, sanitary, convenient with the use of electronic keys, gate openers and WiFi; the place was obviously well kept. Although not absolutely necessary, a car is very helpful to get about for shopping and enjoying the nearby beaches as it is very pleasantly secluded and quiet. I hope everyone doesn’t rush out too often and too long to stay at this place, as I will be looking to come back for future visits if the home is available…thank you very much Laura!

Siamo stati ospiti del Sig. Francesco alla Formaggera per una settimana. La Formaggera é situata in un luogo unico per il paesaggio che la circonda e un po' incantato per l'atmosfera satura di storia che vi si respira. La casa é semplice, ma deliziosamente arredata; la cucina é ben organizzata e dotata di tutto il necessario ed é possibile pranzare e cenare all'esterno, al fresco. Lontani dal caos, ci si riposa all'ombra dei pini, circondati da fichi d'india e dalla natura Calabra. La bellissima piscina e il suo patio coperto, molto apprezzato nelle calde giornate, sono certamente un punto di forza. Il mare é vicino e nel centro abitato più prossimo ci sono supermercati e molti altri negozi tra cui segnalo l'ottimo caseificio Lagani e la vicina pasticceria. Il borgo di Badolato, a qualche km, é da visitare.

Het is een geweldig huis. Om er te komen moet je met een enorme steile weg omhoog, maar Salvatore rijd de eerste keer voor je uit. Als je het huis aan de buitenkant ziet, verwacht je niet hoe groot en mooi het van binnen is. Het heeft een heerlijk dakterras om in de avond te zitten. En om de hoek ligt een kasteel ruïne. Het dorp heeft een bar en een ontzettend goed restaurant met een prachtig terras. In een klein kwartiertje met de auto, zit je aan het strand. En je zit zo in het natuurgebied. Wij hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad.

Where do I start. Beautiful house up in the hills around 5km from town. On arrival we were welcomed by Vitoria and his family and immediately felt at home. Evening meal with wine was offered for €25 each, glad we accepted as it was the best meal in Italy so far. Typical Calabrian food mostly from their farm. Served outside on the terrace by all family members and w Service was like you would get in a restaurant. On arrival, fridge had water, bread, fruit juice, salami and fresh milk along with a fresh bowl of oranges from the garden. Fresh baked croissants delivered for breakfast along with fresh peaches. The house was spotlessly clean and very comfy beds. On leaving, Vittorio’s wife supplied us with home made Nduja Calabrese and jars of pickled vegetables. Cute and very friendly dogs. What a wonderful family to stay with ❤️🇮🇹❤️👌

L’appartamento, situato su un piccolo promontorio davanti al mare, è piccolo ma dotato di ogni comfort, ma soprattutto di una magnifica vista che riempie gli occhi. Tutto bellissimo, superlativa l’accoglienza del signor Giuseppe.

Wir haben nun zum zweiten mal im Apartment von Uldrich übernachtet. Wie schon bei unserem ersten Aufenthalt vor 3 Jahren war die Unterkunft sehr sauber und perfekt ausgestattet! Uldrich antwortet bei Fragen außergewöhnlich schnell und ist sehr hilfsbereit. Wir hatten leider nur für zwei Übernachtungen Zeit, aber diese Zeit haben wir sehr genossen und uns perfekt erholt. Wenn wir wieder mal in der Gegend sind, werden wir ganz sicher wieder dort übernachten!

Es un alojamiento a las afueras del pueblo cercano al aeropuerto. Un buen sitio si tienes que dormir cerca del aeropuerto. El estudio es muy bonito y cómodo.

Abbiamo soggiornato per due settimane in questa bella struttura da poco ristrutturata ed abbiamo trovato quello che noi cerchiamo. La pace più assoluta. La camminata tra gli ulivi piuttosto che il fresco che anche in questo agosto rovente offriva il pergolato coperto dalla vite. La spiaggia raggiungibile in due minuti con l'auto completamente deserta ed un mare pulito. Volendo un po' più di vita basta spostarsi di qualche chilometro dove si può trovare qualche ottimo ristorante.Alloggio secondo il nostro punto di vista da vivere. Sarebbe assolutamente sprecato usarlo solo per andarci a dormire ma poi in fondo ognuno fa quel che gli pare. Siamo stati accolti dai genitori dell'host , due persone squisite, in particolare la signora Tina, prodiga di consigli su sagre eventi e quant'altro. Siamo stati veramente bene, anche il nostro cane ha gradito. Faremo il possibile per tornare

Una delle più belle vacanze che abbia fatto. La Calabria, o meglio la Costa degli Dei, è spettacolare, soprattutto per una come me, che ama il mare e gli scogli. L'appartamento non è nuovissimo, è al terzo piano, ma è molto grande ed ha una terrazza con vista sul mare che da sola vale il prezzo. L'abitazione poi ha tutto, ma veramente tutto il necessario per soggiornarvi. A Briatico di per sè non c'è nulla; forse ad Agosto sarebbe stata un pò più "movimentata", ma a noi è piaciuta così "fuori dal mondo" e tranquilla. Tanto poi con la macchina ci si può spostare ovunque. L'unica pecca è l'odore di fogna che ogni tanto si sente, ma è un qualcosa che ho visto essere presente un pò dappertutto, anche in alcune spiagge. Che dire, sicuramente tornerò in Calabria, perchè mi è rimasta nel cuore!! Grazie Roger e Alexandre :-)

Absolutely beautiful place. The refurbish is new and wonderfully done. The location is perfect for moving around Soverato and getting to other towns and places by rental car. The beach is fabulous. We were there on the off season and many of the "in season" restaurants were not available, but there were other nice restaurants and we enjoyed the town and the food. Vittoria was extremely responsive and wonderful to deal with. Her mother and an English speaking assistant met us and helped us with getting familiar. It couldn't have been nicer. Wonderful place to get to know the Calabria region. The people in the town were exemptional at dealing with my meager Italian language skills and we were easily able to function everywhere we traveled and ate.

il S.Nicola è una persona veramente gentile e accogliente, capace di far sentire a casa i propri ospiti e dedicargli il tempo necessario per la loro tranquillità. L'appartamento è molto carino, a due passi dal mare e dal minimakert/tabacchi e ristorante. Con i suoi 16 gattini la compagnia di certo non mancherà nel periodo di soggiorno. L'ambiente molto pulito e ben curato con tutti i dovuti confort non vi lascerà interdetti. La zona sì è un pò spoglia di attività, ma spostarsi con la macchina non risulterà mai un problema, altri borghi vicini vi attendono

Tutto impeccabile! La casa arredata perfettamente, con stile, nei minimi dettagli; la casa così come nelle foto e compresa di tutto! Proprietaria gentile e cordiale assolutamente esperienza da ripetere! Consiglio!!!

J'ai passé un séjour exceptionnel dans ce logement! L'hôte était d'une gentillesse remarquable, toujours prête à donner des conseils et à s'assurer que tout se passait bien. L'appartement était non seulement impeccable, mais il était aussi décoré avec soin, créant une ambiance chaleureuse et accueillante. Je recommande vivement cet endroit à tous ceux qui cherchent à vivre une expérience authentique, agréable et paisible. Merci encore pour votre hospitalité !

Die Unterkunft von Rachael in Pizzo ist super, wirklich das am besten ausgestattete AirBnB in dem wir je waren. Es gab nicht nur alles übliche, sondern außerdem Sonnenschirme, Stühle und Handtücher für den Strand, eine Kühltasche, Wäscheklammern, Kartenspiele und Reiseführer! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, da alles sehr schön hergerichtet und sauber war. Rachael war auch super nett, einfach zu erreichen und hat uns einen Tipp fürs Abendessen gegeben der goldwert war (Chilli Pepper). Alles in allem kann ich die Unterkunft wirklich sehr empfehlen! Vielen Dank nochmal an Racheal:)

L'appartamento è rifinito nei minimi dettagli. C'è un condizionatore per la zona giorno ed uno per la zona notte. Gli infissi sono ottimi e creano una insonorizzazione perfetta. Ci sono le zanzariere, la lavatrice, lo stendono, la terrazza che guarda direttamente sul mare che ti fa innamorare. La cucina ha tutto ciò che serve, infatti noi abbiamo cucinato a pranzo e cena per tutta la settimana in cui abbiamo soggiornato. La perfezione non esiste ma questo airb&b ha bisogno di un'eccellenza che non abbiamo mai incontrato per perdere il diritto di essere considerato perfetto. Ci siamo sentiti come a casa a contatto con il mare che amiamo tanto.

Die Lage der Wohnung war wunderbar zentral gelegen - mitten im Herzen von Pizzo. Wir waren über die Osterfeiertage im Ort und konnten somit die Prozessionen mit verfolgen - sogar vom Balkon der Wohnung aus. Pizzo ist ein sehr schöner Ort mit großem italienischem Flair und sympathischen Einwohnern. Auch der Strand ist schön. Der Blick zum Meer ist grandios und es war alles vorhanden. Die Küche ist ein seperater Raum, was sehr praktisch ist. Als wir einmal ein Problem mit dem Fenster hatten, war Stefania sofort zur Stelle. Als Entschädigung hat sie uns köstliche Pasticcini hinterlassen. Sie hat sofort auf unsere Fragen geantwortet und war uns sehr hilfreich. Zu Beginn hat sie uns einen Parkplatz reserviert. Wir bedanken uns für die schöne Zeit in Pizzo.

The apartment was in a beautiful, quiet area with a magnificent sunset that you can watch. Mary was wonderful and helpful!

Book it! If you're considering this area of Calabria and you love beautiful views of the ocean, a quiet/peaceful small beach village vibe, and easy access to many of the nearby beaches, busier cities (e.g. Soverato and Catanzaro), and historical sites, THIS is your perfect spot. The views are spectacular (even better than the photos, if that's possible) - we woke each morning to the sunrise, enjoyed coffee while watching the sea birds, and the hearing the gentle waves hit the rocks below. Federico (Gabriella's son) was very helpful on anything we needed in terms of local restaurants, shops, etc. Definitely visit Alta Marea seafood shop for local seafood. And L'Arte del Grano for freshly baked bread. We can't wait to return!
