Vacation rentals with beach access in Sandy Bay

We truly enjoyed our stay in Hobart at Janina’s and Gary’s place. They are very welcoming and ready to share their knowledge and tips to visiting Hobart, and Tasmania. The extra touches of toasting bread, jam and butter, and tea and coffee were appreciated for breakfast. Close by is an IGA for groceries and a Porter’s for wine and beer. Nearby beaches were just right for relaxing. Salamanca Market is about a 10-minute drive. Can’t go wrong booking this location. It is a wonderful pied à terre in Hobart!

Great stay at Ann’s place. She made a portacot available for our daughter and brought over croissants, bread and butter, with additional condiments and champagne in the fridge. Note that the accomodation is mostly open plan with a bedroom with two beds leading off from the master bedroom/kitchen/living room. Overall a cozy but comfortable stay, with Ann’s hospitality making all the difference.

Wonderful stay at Sally's place. Sally is friendly and warm, and it was so easy to communicate with her. The apartment with was quaint with thoughtful, homely features and a beautiful view onto the water. Great location, walkable to the city and shops. Would definitely stay again :)

Over delivers amenities, secure parking space and quiet safe neighbourhood. Helen and Dennis are extremely thoughtful hosts in their preparation before , and during. Very comfortable quality bedding , bathroom & kitchen facilities Highly recommended

We really enjoyed our stay here. With 4 people and making great use of the pull out couch bed - quite comfortable as well. Definitely would recommend this place! The hosts were responsive as well since we've never been to Tasmania and they recommended Metz pizza. My family went there 2 nights in a row since it was so good.

Having that beautiful bay at the front door really was spectacular. Positioned toward the end of a quiet culdesac and right across the Rd from the water, made for a relaxed and peaceful stay for our little family. Having the kids dvd’s was a winner for our kids to enjoy some relax time after big day. We wanted to stay longer for the amazing location that it was!

A must stay in Kingston beach! A perfect location with gorgeous accommodation. Could not recommend it enough. The flat was beautiful and we’ll definitely be coming back!

Claire’s cottage on the beach was a beautiful hidden gem. Only a 30 min drive to the centre of Hobart, meant it was the perfect place to relax as a base point, and then go on wonderful day trips from there. Watching the sun rise over the water each morning was spectacular and the evening skies on dusk were just as stunning. The coffee machine produced incredible coffee, and the bottle of Tassie champagne was a lovely surprise! The bed was comfy and the shower was amazing! Thanks Claire for sharing your beautiful beach home with us. Hoping we can make it back again one day!

Great place to stay with family. The spa was a hit with the kids! Comfy beds & great location!

Had to fly to Hobart for a brief stay to attend funeral. Brendan was very accommodating with checkin time as had three sisters all flying in around midday and we has access to our accommodation. Plenty of space for car, very close to beach , and nice outdoor setting to sit outside. Would highly recommend this airB&B.

What a lovely home to stay at! The photos don’t do this place justice, it’s a really fabulous place with beautiful surroundings. We loved the decor and could tell a lot of time and thought had gone into making this Airbnb. The balcony overlooks the beach and if you’re looking for peace and quiet, this is the perfect place. In terms of location, there isn’t much within walking distance however we were well aware of this before booking. However, what is great about this place, it is a good middle point for tourist destinations such as Hobart, Port Arthur or even if you wanted to travel up the East coast. Would highly recommend staying here, we had a great time. Thanks for letting us stay!

This is an amazing house, with an amazing host! We had quite a few requests which James happily accommodated. James is a host who genuinely wants his guests to have a great experience. The house is beautiful, has incredible amenities and is an beautiful location next to a secluded beach. We felt blessed to have spent our holdiays here. We will absolutely stay again!

Kate’s place was great. We were a Family of 4 adults and two toddlers Place was close to Hobart CBD, Salamanca Market, beaches, cafes and restaurants. Perfect for a family stay in central Hobart. It had all necessary amenities for young children cot , high chair, books, toys etc. I have stayed in a lot of AirBNB’s throughout the world and by far Kate’s place has been the best in relation to stocked consumables (toilet paper, washing powder, dishwashing liquid, sponges). Would highly recommend a stay at Kate’s place.

House was amazing couldn’t fault in any way. Clean, comfortable and perfect. Views and location of house was absolutely fabulous. Host always replied to any messages very quickly and we super helpful with some sight seeing recommendations when we asked. 10/10 stay, thank you 🙏🏼

'Amberley' is a beautiful home, just as the images indicate. It was perfect for a group of five school-friends gathering to collectively celebrate a "significant" birthday. We all very much appreciated the warmth and luxurious amenities after walking the Three Capes trail, and while the house is large it is very cozy. And the location could not have been better, we walked along the waterfront to Wrest Point, and to local cafes and shops in Battery Point and Salamanca Place. And most importantly, Lisa is a wonderful and generous host, highly responsive to messages and requests, which made the whole experience even more special. I highly recommend Lisa and 'Amberley' and will certainly book again if/when I travel to Hobart in a group.

Such a lovely quiet and comfortable apartment close to cafes, restaurants and shops and a five minute drive to the Salamanca markets and the waterfront. The parking bay outside the front door was so convenient and being on the ground floor made it very easy to get luggage inside. James is a very considerate host and we would always aim to stay here if back in Hobart, it was perfect for us.

Great View. Well appointed. The hosts were very friendly and left ample food and snacks which was super helpful when arriving from out of town. They even left a bottle of wine. Perfect.

The environment is clean and tidy, the landlord responds quickly and can solve problems quickly, highly recommended! It is easy to find, and the view from the balcony is also very good💝

The location and the apartment was amazing and we felt very looked after by Roxy and Ambre. The apartment was very cutesy and has everything we need, it has beach views in one window and mountain views in the other! Kitchen is tiny but we loved preparing food in here. The only thing is the walls must be paper thin as we were having casual conversations with the tv on at around 9pm but we got frantic knocking from the neighbor (we thought it was an emergency!) telling us to stay quiet. We just had to keep it to whispers after that but overall very good experience and we had a lovely time.

The landlord is a very warm and kind person, and both my boyfriend and I really like them! The house is also very new, making it a comfortable place to stay. Plus, it’s close to the beach, making it a great choice for accommodation in Tasmania!

A short notice stay with a poorly pup. Check in details were sent straight away, easy to find, convenient parking and a lovely cosy place to stay and relax for the night. Lots of streaming services and wifi access and all the amenities we needed. And a wonderful, compassionate host - Would recommend!

Beautiful location. Cozy home. Fabulously colourful. So nice to soak in the bath. I even had a little dip in the freezing ocean.
