Hakalletrappa is right above the cabin, and gives amazing views into the sea and the nearest islands. Perfect starting point for day trips to Vestkapp, Runde, Geiranger, Loen, Ålesund, etc... Velkommen til strandhuset ytterst i Ervik - ved foten av Vestkapp. Her kan du nyte bølgebrus og frisk sjøluft med unik utsikt over det endeløse havet, omgitt av spektakulære fjell og natur. Fra vinduskarmen kan du følge med på surferne i bølgene eller studere ørna som svever utfor bratte fjellsider. Herfra kan du nærmest hoppe rett i havet med våtdrakt og surfebrett. Rett utforbi døra kan du følge turstier til utsiktspunktet på Hushornet, spektakulære Hovden eller ta runden rundt Ervikvatnet.

Strandro

Her har dere huset for dere selv. Dette huset er ett av de eldste i bygda, og har en eldre innredning. Huset har sine vaner og triks. Røyking er kun tillatt utendørs. For å skylle våtdrakter, så er det kaldtvann på baksiden av servicebygget nedenfor kirken. Våtdrakter kan henges til tørk inne i garasjen. Det er ikke mulig å sette på for mye varme uten at sikringene går. Du må ta med egen ved om du vil bruke peisovnen. NRK 1, 2 og 3 er eneste TV-kanaler, og der er radio i stua.

Good fishing and swimming facilities in the sea, as well as comfortable mountains if you want a little trim. It is a short distance to Fosnavåg or Ulsteinvik which has many restaurants and shops. Sunnmørsbadet (water park) is located about 13-14 min drive from the cabin. Rowing boat and fishing equipment available.
