Beachfront vacation rentals in Sand Hill Cove

Cute, quaint and quintessential New England cottage. A perfect place to rest, relax and unwind. A very quiet, private and peaceful retreat from the craziness of everyday life. Richard was extremely responsive and helpful for the few questions I had. I did not get the chance to meet him but maybe next time, I’ll certainly be back! If you love the proximity to the hustle and bustle of summer in Narragansett but prefer to be a few short minutes in the quieter bubble of Bonnet Shores, this is your place. 7am walks to the beach and 6pm wine on the patio for sunset. Pure heaven!

The cottage is located on the same property as three other rentals, a large house and two smaller once. Depending on how many of them are occupied, privacy can vary. During our stay the two smaller homes were rented as well. Unfortunately the backyard is not completely fenced, but there was on piece of fence that allowed us to block the one open spot, so our dogs didn’t run away. The cottage is big enough for two adults. The bathroom is fairly small, but is enough for a short stay. The living room and the kitchen are adjacent and are nice for cooking or spending time when you are not discovering Newport and the surrounding area. The location is perfect if you are looking for a peaceful and quiet spot after a long day of discovering Rhode Island, Martha Vineyard, Block Island and many other beautiful places.

Host Donna was very responsive. House and linens were very clean. The neighborhood, while quiet was not the greatest to walk with young children. The best things about this house are the kitchen, and the view. Overall it was perfect for our family while our home was being renovated.

Jason’s place was perfect, very clean and had everything you need. He was proactive and very helpful. Gave us great recommendations for things to do and food in the area. Would have loved to stay longer. Will definitely stay again next time we are in Newport.

We loved out stay at Brandon's. The location is beautiful and very peaceful. Waking up with the water views and fresh air was amazing. The house is very comfortable and was great for our visit with friends - we cooked and enjoyed just hanging out.

We had such a lovely stay at Fly Fisher's Cottage! It was really easy to get to local restaurants and places to visit from here, and just as nice to walk around the neighborhood and visit the beach. The house was spotless and had everything we needed, and is very stylish to boot. Clare was super accommodating too. I would happily stay here again if we're in the area! P.s. Definitely visit Rome Point Cafe just around the corner, and try their griddled banana bread!

Great stay at Joseph’s loft. It was very clean and airy. Nice terrace to sit out on and watch the water. Joe had some excellent restaurant recommendations and kept us updated about local activities. Would definitely like to return again.

Perfect spot for a Montauk getaway. Walking distance to everything dockside has to offer, great pool and lounge chairs on the property, very simple check-in via code with the front desk. Nick was kind and communicative our whole stay. We’ll be coming back!

I love this location. Huge rooms. Comfortable king size bed . Quiet. Great views. You can walk to this little beach around the corner. The kitchen has everything you need. Pots, pans, dishes, coffee maker. I bring my own food and cook. The tv has cable but I didn't see how to get Netflix. Also there are two big bathrooms. They have a pool but I haven't used it since I go in April. Newport is a quick drive over the bridge (there is a $4 toll fee- if you have EZpass no big deal). Plenty fo shops and restaurants in Newport and of course the huge mansions from the 1890's. It's about $50 to go into two of them. Or the Breakers, the most famous one is $35pp. Check out Bellevue Ave, its fabulous. I also like to eat at the Red Parrot. There are plenty of local shops to browse, and the Wharf where you can walk along the water. Parking is free in the winter/early spring. Check the signs cause they do have metered parking. I can usually find something, and there are lots you can pay per hour.

We stayed for only 1 night. The description and reviews are accurate. The house was exactly what we needed. The location is great with an easy walk into town. Our son caught 3 fish off the dock. We loved our quick stay and would absolutely stay again.

Lots of space to hang out. Beautifully remodeled. Loved the bits and pieces in the pantry. Had regular coffee pot as well as keurig. Well stocked kitchen to make our big breakfasts.

Exactly what we were hoping for! Location and view were outstanding. The working dock was so fun to watch!! Everything was fantastic!!!

Fantastic weekend spent in Montauk! Close to everything. Matthew was quick to respond to my questions before we arrived. Would defiantly book again!

The place was really great—clean, comfy, and had everything you need. Kerri was super easy to communicate with, and the location was pretty convenient. Would definitely stay here again if I’m in the area. We were extremely satisfied with our stay and had a great time!

The location can’t be beat, the view over the water and the rear gardens going out onto a stairway to the beach were amazing. The location was good and close to Newport where we spent quite a bit of time. The host was responsive and helpful with recommendations and the owner was very kind when we happened to meet in the gardens. The space was very clean and well appointed with comfortable amenities. My only feedback was that the space is quite small (although maybe I should’ve had different expectations). For 2 days where we were out and about all day, it didn’t matter, but had it been raining and we were stuck inside, or if we had booked a longer stay it might have been an inconvenience.

We came in for a graduation so we needed something simple that we could enjoy for downtime but knew we were not going to spend a lot of time there. This met our needs. Our host was kind enough to help with a few simple requests that made our stay easier.

This place was fantastic! Loved the proximity to the beach, George’s, Block Island ferry and more!! Such a hidden gem and will definitely be back! Karen and Peter were excellent hosts and always responsive if we had any questions. The apartment was so cutely decorated too!

Gorgeous view, great location, clean, comfortable, I can’t say enough good things. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We day-tripped to Boston and spent a lot of time in Newport, but we also LOVED the small town of Wickford that was close by. Lots of good restaurants. But I can honestly say I would have been content to just hang around the house and use the hot tub and kayaks. The back patio is incredible and the view is breathtaking. Get up and watch the sunrise over the water. You’ll thank me later. The place was only surpassed by the incredible hostess. Kelly was ultra-responsive, her restaurant recommendations were great, and she went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we need. Including borrowing her sister’s pack N play so we could have 2 since we had several young kids with us. She set us up with things we didn’t even think to ask for. You can tell she’s been a hostess for a while. I can’t recommend this place enough.

This house is stunning! Fabulous hosts! The description is exactly as written! Comfortable beds, great appliances, bathrooms and sitting areas! The location is central to restaurants, beaches and the ocean. We celebrated our wedding weekend and this was a perfect place for me and my family to get ready for the big day! Highly recommend!

We stayed the week with 2 kids. Very walkable location to the beach and grocery store ect were very close by. Friendly neighbors and everything we needed was already included! Hot tub was wonderful and backyard is absolutely adorable and perfect for outdoor BBQ/dinner.

Just the weekend we were hoping for thanks to Pam’s quaint beach home. With its immaculate kitchen, its charming bedrooms, and its porch with an ocean view, we had everything we needed and more. A short drive to Galilee and the Block Island ferry, and within walking distance to the beach, this home has a great central location for many RI activities. Highly recommend!

Simon’s place is absolutely amazing and exquisitely unique! How many people have the chance to stay in an old lighthouse that is beautifully furnished, incredibly comfortable, has all of the amenities you could ask for and tranquility you dream of. The house was easy to find, private and tucked away with good space for the car. Entry was super easy with clear and easy to follow instructions. The house is perfect. A fantastic kitchen with everything you need to cook terrific meals (seafood!!!). The dining area is ideal and the living room is comfy, relaxing and inviting. The bathroom has an excellent shower and is spotlessly clean. The upstairs master bedroom had a really comfortable bed with plenty of space. Access to the where the light used to be is up a couple of sturdy ladders. The location is amazing; down by the water with the peaceful sound of the water. Simon is the perfect host: helpful, friendly, responsive and proactive. Highly recommended!
