Family-friendly vacation rentals in San Rafael

If you are not familiar with Quito, I think La Floresta is one of the best neighborhoods in Quito. I’d guess there are over 30 restaurants within a 2 block radius of this apartment with anything from hotdogs to sushi and anything in between. High priced to low prices. It’s also a short walk to a supermarket, pharmacies, banks. I was a bit surprised when I entered the apartment, as it was more elegant than the pictures showed. I found Alejandro to be easy to work with, although work may slow his response. Overall I expect I will be back in this apartment again.

Daily visits from donkey Margarita & black lab Carbone were added pleasures to our stay. Felipe was responsive to hot water issue. Took guests to church on property. Explained history of property, Quito and Ecuador in general. He was extremely kind and helpful. Picked up & transported us back to airport for reasonable fee. Modest but lovely home.

Very close to Centro, Local bus stop in front of the building and cost only 35 cents. Half price for Seniors.

We really liked Vero was very nice to us and the amazing place

perfect location as it was close to everything but on a quiet dead end street.

The room is spacious, suitable for one person or two people, close to the dining room and park

Porton Blanco is a true home away from home! The host provided a warm welcome before I even arrived with her quick reply to my booking and detailed responses to my questions. Upon arrival we were greeted with refreshments and recommendations, which ensured our trip was smooth and enjoyable. One of my favorite luxuries of this home is its terrace view of the mountains - it’s such a beautiful site to see! The house is conveniently located near a shopping centre and walking distance from a market where we were able to stock up on kitchen staples. Overall, quiet and convenient location with a clean space. If you can fit it into your agenda request the masseuse, such a treat. Can’t wait to stay here again - thank you for being an amazing host!

We spent one night in David's apartment on our return from a work trip. The apartment is very well located, in one of the prettiest neighborhoods in Quito. This is my second time staying at David's apartment and I feel very comfortable there: it is spacious, the kitchen is well equipped, has a washer and dryer and is very quiet. I highly recommend it!

I stayed at this peaceful farm with my family and two young children, and it was everything we could've wished for. It's beautiful setting made you want to never leave the place due to the cozy comfortable inside and scenery outside. Carmen and Rosa Linda were very attentive to our needs, and were fast to respond to all requests from starting the fire to arranging for my daughters to milk the cows and feed the horses. The whole staff on the farm is very friendly and there to help. It was a truly a unique experience. There's plenty of hiking in the area and it's close to all the sights of Cotopaxi park. The incredible hosts arranged for our transportation, itinerary, and cooked us some of the most delicious food I had during my trip. I can't wait to go back!

I stayed at Diego's house for a month and had a great time. The apartment is cozy and tastefully furnished, has all the amenities even for a long stay. The location is very central, very close to the Carolina metro station and El Jardin shopping center. A stone's throw from the beautiful La Carolina park. The apartment is on the fourth floor, it is quiet and well lit. The building has 24-hour security guards, all always very nice and helpful. The crowning glory is the attention and kindness of the host. For any need, they respond promptly to messages, solve problems and fulfill every request. A real guarantee. I had a great time and was sorry to leave. I really thank Diego from the bottom of my heart.

Really amazing, Lorena was always attentive to everything, we loved it and had a fabulous time. It is a magical place, which connects you with nature but with all the comforts of modern living. Beautiful.

My stay with Daniela was amazing. She was helpful in every way. She kindly welcomed me after my long flight and offered me some tea. Daniela was responsive to every question I had about the city, the country, and the neighborhood. When I encountered issues at the apartment, she tried to help me!!Thanks to her support, my stay was peaceful, and I truly felt at home. The apartment is just amazing: cozy with a nice view!

Jim and Maria’s place is highly recommend. Once we entered the private gate and saw the majestic gardens and the enormous property we felt like staying home. We slept very comfortable, everything was very clean and we enjoyed the gardens.

Patricia's place had a beautiful view. It was spacious and quiet. Security was very friendly and we felt safe. The place had very hot water, which isn't always the case. Surrounding was quiet from the apartment. There was shampoo, conditioner, bar of soap and towels provided. If you plan to use the kitchen, you will have to pick up supplies. There was detergent to wash clothing. We took taxis where ever we needed to go. Overall, Patricia's place was as pictured and very spacious. She had great communication and made check-in easy. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

Very amazing private and secure location. seemed like a few acres behind a large wall butted up to a beautiful mountain with excellent landscaping everywhere.

It was a relaxing and quiet stay, the house is old but very cared for, Maria Agusta was an incredible host always attentive to our needs, we really had an incredible time, just what I needed with my family, a place nearby to be able to mobilize us in different times and at the same time we feel away from everything. Thank you so much for everything we hope to be back soon.

Luisa is a very welcoming and thoughtful host, made us feel right at home :) The cabin we stayed in had everything we needed and was very cozy and charming. The grounds are beautiful and food was delicious. When we stayed there were hammocks to lay in while we listened to the sounds of the birds. A great escape from the hectic modern world :)
