Pet-friendly vacation rentals in San Pedro La Laguna

The White House was a beautiful, spacious, comfortable accommodation that had all the comforts of home whilst staying in a picturesque and accessible location. The hosts were very responsive and helpful throughout the trip, with the housekeeper Miguel always being close by to help with any problems. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!

Samuel's place was very central and steps away from all the action in San Pedro. The view of the lake was amazing. Most pleased with the host's responsiveness and assistance.

We loved our stay! The hosts are very communicative and helpful. Check in instructions were clear and communicated well beforehand, and if any issues came up they were sorted immediately (we ran out of gas for the stove at one point, and it was fixed and replaced within 15 minutes!). The gardener was super nice and checked in on us regularly. The views are incredible and the house is comfortable. The wifi was strong and consistent for remote work. Definitely bring things from the supermarket prior to arrival so you don't have to boat back and forth. It's an eco house, so yes there are bugs, but nothing scary or that really impacted our experience. It's a really great spot if you're looking to escape!

Wow! What a magical place to stay while visiting San Marcos. As many have mentioned, the views are phenomenal. The setup of the place balancing open air and cozy indoors does truly feel like a glamorous tree house. I'll never forget my showers overlooking the lake, and being awoken by the most gorgeous sunrises peeking in trough the windows. The community surrounding the house was lovely. The kitchen had everything I needed to make some good meals, and the bed was so comfortable I did not want to get up most mornings. This is THE place to book while here. Just be aware it is a bit of a steep incline walk so if you struggle with that you can take a tuk tuk up to the property. I walked everyday and found it to be excellent exercise to get my day going. Truly one of my favorite airbnb experiences.

Mary is an excellent host. She responded in minutes, often in real time to any questions we had. She always had wonderful suggestions, and her knowledge of Lake Attilan’s villages is superb. We really appreciated her help. The house is a bird lovers dream. A large tree on the side of the huge picture windows is a bird magnet and we loved getting up early to watch and listen. When I sent her a picture of a bird, she responded with pictures of possible birds from a book, immediately. The view is fabulous! The house is tidy, clean and well supplied. San Marcos is such a chill place to stay. The stroll down to the boats is a pleasure and we enjoyed it immensely. This is a place we could return to easily.

The treehouse and the views are absolutely stunning. Rachel was super friendly and was available by text the whole time. She made sure everything went smoothly and was able to offer recommendations and insight into planning our day to day activities. A couple things to note. The place is quite remote, a 15 minute hike in the woods. For us that just meant packing a bag for the day and then coming home in the evenings and not leaving again. Jaibalito is tiny, so there really isn’t much reason to go back, but just something to note! That said, the space is so cozy and very pretty at night. Packs some snacks and drinks and have a nice night in. Another thing is that you have to walk outside and downstairs to go to the bathroom. Was a little spooky at night for us. The bedroom is on the top floor, so you have to take the spiral stairs down, then outside to go to the bathroom at night. We did see a couple of scorpions at night in the bathroom doorway, so take a flashlight with you.

We felt right at home, a beautiful, quiet, private place. We loved the house. I recommend it 100%. The host was very attentive, and Edgar the guardian was very friendly. They welcome our furry friends, but it's definitely better to bring small pets because the house is so nice, full of flowers, that it's not suitable for large dogs. Ours is a German Shepherd and we were very careful with the garden, but we were always worried about damaging it. But we definitely recommend it, thank you and we hope to be back soon !!!

It is second time that I stayed here, the place never disappoints. A beautiful house decorated with plenty of space to relax and have a nice time. The new pool with jacuzzi is beautiful and relaxing. We had a great time with the family. Thank you for the hospitality of its staff feels like you are at home.

It is a beautiful facility & the cabins are amazing. The sauna & pool are beautiful! The restaurant Posada Santiago is fabulous, however there just isn’t much going on in Santiago.

It is an absolutely beautiful home and looks better than the pictures. Anastasio and Dominga were so amazing and helpful. Dominga’s cooking was great and we definitely recommend trying it. There is a small uphill walk to the house that has a stone/muddy walkway so something to note if you are bringing a lot of suitcases.

Great place! The small house is next to a restaurant and is one of a dozen other similar houses. Area was clean, we could walk from Santiago Atitlan or use TukTuk quite easily. The access to the lake is very nice and you can use Kayaks and pool at anytime

Casita Piegatto was a wonderful place to relax and take in nature and the beautiful surroundings. Alvaro, the house manager is absolutely wonderful and truly made our experience fantastic! He helped arrange anything we needed and was always available. It would be tough to be there without him because it is a very remote location and there is not much near by. I have a few notes, did not bother us but will be helpful to know ahead of time… -2 bedrooms not 4 bedrooms. There are 2 bedrooms that have walls & doors that close. The other two are open areas that everyone walks by to get to the bedrooms or upstairs. There are sliding screens but the rooms are not private and do not have doors that shut. -200 very steep steps to the property. Must be able bodied to stay here. -A/C does not work in all rooms. doors/windows do not have screens. Many bugs and rain is unpredictable so leaving the windows open at night might not be the best idea. Highly recommend this property! It was great!

Very nice place, with everything you need to have a great time. It has several services included, which makes it worth the price you pay, as you can use the stone tub, jacuzzi, yoga shala, pool, sauna, restaurant and access to the lake with its own dock. We had a great time at this place, thanks for hosting us.

The place is perched in a lush beautiful garden that we enjoyed the moment we stepped in. It is central but away from the hustle and bustle of Calle Santander. Thank you Marion and Gerry for having us. Your place has been a home away from home. We truly enjoyed are stay. We are planning for a return trip already.

I truly enjoyed my stay and it was relatively smooth getting to Casa Sita. Terry was responsive to my messages and offered his area knowledge, which was much appreciated. I will be returning and staying at Casa Sita once the opportunity presents itself.

The place was very nice, everything clean well put together, the kitchen came with alot of household items, coffee, cooking oil, plates , everything you would need.The view of the lake was beautiful, the outside little patio was a nice hangout spot for a coffee and to relax. Diego was very friendly, helpful and understanding. Responded quickly and had answers right away, provided us with transportation from the dock to the house and as our own little private tour guide around the lake. Very satisfied with the stay, do recommend to book with Diego and Oasis, definitely would come stay again! Thanks again Diego and Oasis for everything. Ask for Chema if your looking for some quick transportation around the area, very friendly, knows his way around.

We had the loveliest time staying at Duncan's place. It felt like our home away from home, complete with a beautiful garden and the sweetest pets. Both Duncan and Luciano were super responsive and accommodating. We had everything needed to relax and enjoy the area. The locals in Jaibalito are friendly and we had some great Guatemalan cuisine based on Duncan's recommendations. Overall 15 out of 10 and I highly recommend Duncan's place for anyone looking to experience living like a local.

A very spacious self catering place with an authentic homely feeling. Great location just 5 mins walk from lake with a partial view. Quiet and a lovely garden. Lucas the gardener will look after everything. Armand is responsive by message. We extended our stay to 5 nights.

The house is very nice and the place is just as it appears in the photos. Don Julio welcomed us into the house. there is for kayaking fun, a small field to play badminton and volleyball. My friends and I had a great time at this place. Thank you very much

Our stay at Casa Pamakanya was excellent! The property is very well maintained and it was easy to get to different villages by boat. Maria’s cooking was fantastic and enjoyed by both the adults and children.
