The ranch is a magnificent retreat in the Oaxacan countryside. The rooms are big and clean, the sitting areas are comfortable (especially the hammocks!), and the estate is a perfect spot to read, write, meditate or wander around aimlessly. The nearby river is clean and fast and perfect for a refreshing dip, and the very well maintained pool on site is likely where you’ll spend most of your day. If given the option of having the staff prepare your meals, absolutely do it. We ate three delicious meals every day including the best mole any of us have ever had. Make friends with the cats and dogs. Enjoy watching the horses gallop around every morning. Do the half hour hike to see the 3,000 year old cave drawings. Stroll around town and check out the dozens of murals that were painted this past summer. Bring long sleeved shirts and pants for the evenings and use the bug spray provided as the insects are abundant but manageable.

"Harmony Stay". Country place to rest

Excellent place, a very large house ideal for family gatherings, we really enjoyed the smoky kitchen, the pool table, a lot of privacy. What should be taken into account (and is mentioned in the Airbnb description) is that the internet and signal are very limited, just for messages. Great place near Oaxaca, in 30-40 minutes you reach the city center.

Ecológical Bungalow "Rodrigo" Near to Monte Alban

What a treat to stay at Karmen's! Great views, friendly neighbors, lots of amazing birds right outside your doorstep, in walking distance to the archeological site Monte Alban, small stores to get food, and the artist town of Arrazola where they make alebrijes. Also, the internet was reliable enough that I could work from home (using video calls)! The spot is about a half hour outside of the city by mototaxi, so the air is cleaner and it's more peaceful than you'll find elsewhere. Karmen has planted hundreds of native trees and plants on the land so there are lots of pollinators, gorgeous butterflies, flowers, and a couple of very sweet dogs. Karmen was a great host- proactive, responsive, and kind. She generously invited me to many incredible events locally and in the city. She is very well connected in the artist and healing communities. What a great deal! Hope to be back soon.

Beautiful quarry house

It's a solid 5 stars mostly because of Roberto and his family. They helped us in so many ways, whether it is arranging drop-off or pick-up at the airport or helping us extensively when my friend got taken into the hospital. All the problems we had (like loss of internet), he was very quick to help. The house is very pretty and big, beds very confortable but also had a few problems (voltage drops, leaks that triggers the pump frequently, dogs barking at night, occasional smell in the bathroom) that might be a concern if you work remote but I imagine perfectly fine if you're on holidays. All in all, many thanks Roberto!

Just three minutes from downtown and I am not exaggerating, you will find your beautiful apartment the truth juan carlos was excellent the stay was incredible hot water and all the services 100%. The truth, the photos don't do the place justice. It's more beautiful than what the photos look like. We'll definitely come back every time we go to Huajuapan

Great place to stay, Darlene and her mom were very responsive. Plenty of mototaxis passing though and a bus stop down the street that takes you straight to el centro.

The entrance features a tiled walkway leading to a doorway framed by lush greenery and a vibrant flowering bush. A mural enhances the wall adjacent to the entrance, adding an artistic touch to the welcoming facade.

Great option to stay near downtown Oaxaca. Deyanira was flexible with the schedules and her house has everything you need to spend a few quiet days. I would stay here again in a heartbeat

We liked it because it was rustic, but with everything you need. Everything was clean, and we were excited about the idea of a steam bath with herbs (recommended). Estefany and her dad are always attentive and very friendly.

A vibrant red wall is adorned with multiple white-framed windows. The play of light creates shadows of nearby trees, enhancing the visual texture of the surface. The windowpanes reflect surrounding greenery, adding depth to the exterior.

If you want a very quiet place, this place is perfect. I recommend it, and above all the spacious green areas that the house has, the view of The rooms is pretty

This place is very cozy, quiet and very private. Very welcoming, found everything close by, stores, supermarket and park near by, a bank and all you need for a great stay. Villa ETLA is a great place to visit while traveling through Oaxaca.
