A house not far from Paliton beach, and a 5-7 minute drive to restaurants, bar and cafés. There is also a restobar nearby. Has an outdoor kitchen and is equipped for longer stay. I really couldn’t have wished for a better place to stay! I felt right at home. The place is secluded but still close to restaurants and San Juan. The sunsets are really something special :) And I have never had a more wonderful and welcoming host like Joe. Always ready to help, offering to show me around the island, even inviting me for dinner and into his house… I really couldn’t have wished for anything more. Hoping I can come back one day and stay here again!!!

Highly recommended especially if you are a big group. Location is far from the busy area of San Juan but you can still enjoy the free acecess to the beach of Candanay Sur. You can cook your own food, towels and toiletries are available; plus they have mini honesty store which is very convenient. High speed wifi is also available. Helpers will clean the house everyday and always ready to assist their guests. I will surely rebook this place if I return to Siquijor.

Our stay in this place was worth every $$. Host was very nice & responsive in our inquiries especially when we asked to extend our stay. Her staff were really approachable, helpful & friendly. Guesthouse was almost complete of amenities in cooking & etc. Location was very accessible to tourist spots, bars, mini stores/shop, restaurants & car/motorbike rentals. Was very satisfied with our stay.

Our stay at Mimi's Haven was wonderful. The host is very helpful and the place is very beautiful, in the middle of the nature. Who loves to stay far from the touristic places, enjoy the sound of the nature, see the stars, fell the harmony and the poetry and have an amazing view, as we do, it's the perfect place. There is a kitchen with the necessary to cook. A small garden to have a barbecue. The motorbike it's fundamental, you can rent it from them. Don't go too fast in the jumpy road, follow the rhythm of the local countryside, relax and enjoy the ride to all the beautiful places in the island. As someone else already wrote, don't forget to take care of the lovely dogs and cats :))
