What a great stay! Nelson made sure we had everything we needed, every question was answered and resolved. We loved all the great amenities of the house and felt right at home. I still can't believe how wonderful this place was. If you're looking for peace and quiet in a beautiful setting, this is it. Heavenly. Fast Internet, great host, convenient, clean. Everything about it was perfect.

La pasamos muy bien con mi familia. El lugar era acogedor, limpio y muy bien ubicado, cerca de todo lo que necesitábamos. Se sentía como en casa, con detalles que hicieron nuestra estancia cómoda y especial. El anfitrión fue muy amable y atento en todo momento. Beautiful home! Nicely decorated and spacious. The pool and sauna was a great touch. The on site manager, Juan, was incredible with anything we asked for or needed. Only feedback is that we would have loved a full length mirror and some days the internet wasn't good. And it can be nosy outside because of the school next door but that's not something the host can really control. We had a fabulous stay and would absolutely recommend to anyone else traveling in the area!

Absolutely amazing property! The walk from the gate to the house was a beautiful surprise. The third floors had AMAZING views of the lake and mountains. Waking up to the sounds of the birds was a dream. PJ was very understanding to our situation and offered a playpen for the babies. The stay was wonderful. Thank you so much!

We had a little family vacation here and it was everything is was advertised to be and more! The staff are all very helpful and responsive. Salvador the property manager was incredible! From keeping the pool clean between our times in to doing grocery runs into the city, he was amazing. All the activities listed were so fun and very family friendly! The rooms were all very clean and there was even bug spray to help with the incests outside. All the local contacts for boat and tour services were also incredibly sweet. Very considerate, accommodating and for a friendly price! Overall, we would definitely consider coming back should we ever want to visit Atitlan and the surrounding towns.

The house is very beautiful. A lovely design and filled with beautiful touches and artwork. An amazing view off the veranda, and the gardens are relaxing and full of birds. We all enjoyed the clean pool very much too. Overall it was an amazing place to relax and recharge. There is a walk up to the local village of Santa Clara or tuk tuks to take you up the hill, and the village has a produce market on Saturdays. We also recommend CECAP for great meals with the best view, as well as fair trade traditional handicrafts. It was easy to get a boat at the public dock. It’s probably easiest to arrange your own driver and boat to the private dock as then it’s easy to contact them if they do not turn up or know where to go (problems we had through no fault of the host). Definitely shop in Pana as the shops are very small in Santa Clara. Be aware it was hazy every day for 6 days and apparently this is common in April (or other months too?) because of cane burning. The Airbnb is absolutely gorgeous, it comfortably slept all of us in the 4 large bedrooms. The bathrooms showers had great pressure and heat. Rudy and Maria were fantastic and Attentive to all our needs and made the best meals. The pool was definitely needed and we had a great time enjoying all the lake had to offer. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and private place in Santa Cruz. The view is stunning, the house is breezy and full of natural light, and the garden is an oasis. We worked remotely from the loft above with a view of the lake, and the windows letting in the breeze… the Starlink internet was seamless. Town/dock was 5-10 min walk from the house, and town/ATM was a short tuk tuk ride up the hill. Miguel was extremely helpful, always readily available, communicative and with a great attitude. He met us at the dock in Panajachel with a pre booked private transport and helped bring our bags up to the house. We also booked the private chef experience with Manuela and she was amazing… so sweet, punctual, and made us healthy, tasty lunches to enjoy while we worked. She even made us a refreshing drink with a cucumber from her garden, and set the table for us outside to we could eat while enjoying the nice weather. We learned a lot from chatting with her! Lovely people & stay!

don't hesitate to book this place!! such an incredible, magical stay. it was even better than the pictures in person, its your own private treehouse overlooking the lake. antonio & sara were incredible hosts & very helpful/responsive. antonio was able to refill our filtered water when we got low no problem, and even brought a beautiful bouquet of flowers & food for the cat that likes to sleep on the patio :) we stayed for a week and didn't find neighbour noise to be loud whatsoever-the village goes silent around 11pm. beautiful views of the sunrise & sunset/3 volcanoes. the bed is very comfy & kitchen is well equipped. this place is WELL worth its amazing price, cannot recommend it enough!

Augustus’s place is a dream location in Lake Atitlan. San Marcos La Laguna is a great place to get away of the hustle and bustle of other towns, while still remaining close to the lake and maintaining the ability to bop around easily. With a dock just 30 seconds away, you have easy transport to any other area on the lake. We also enjoyed the peace and privacy of the location. The space and property were beautiful and we could tell very well taken care of and well-loved. The views were immaculate. The decor and craftsmanship blew us away. What took our stay to the next level was Augustus’s kindness and hospitality leading up to and throughout our stay and finally, the wonderful meal his partner cooked for us on our last morning. My lifelong girlfriends and I will remember this trip forever. If you’re looking to make magical memories and take in nature’s beauty, this is the place!

Awesome stay. I would love to come back

This place was just as described! This place was so peaceful and calm, it was perfect to get away from the busy towns nearby. The only slight inconvenience was having to find a tuktuk to get to the nearby towns as they were not walking distance. We had to start walking until a tuktuk became available. Overall I would totally recommend this place!

Our three night stay at the Glass House was fabulous...beyond words really. It is now our favorite Airbnb in the world! I intentionally chose our stay during April's full moon which created an even more magical experience at the Glass House. We actually had no idea that the view would be so amazing - gazing over Lake Atitlan with views of 3 volcanoes perfectly in the middle of our gaze. The space was absolutely perfect. Accommodations stylish and modern, with amazing interiors and furniture designed by the owners. Loved the fact that the location is so unique and private. One must travel by boat to the property's private dock to access the house. Venturing out to other lakeside pueblos is a quick and inexpensive boat ride away - where a boat taxi can pick you at the dock...you just have to wave a flag for them to come get you. We enjoyed preparing meals in the amazing kitchen overlooking the Lago. So impressive! I could go on and on. If you are lucky to stay here- do not hesitate!

We enjoyed our stay very much and will consider coming back when we return in December. We were greeted by Miguel who assisted us in getting our luggage to the cabin and helped us with checking in. The cabin is simple but was very clean and comfortable. Just be sure to bring your own toiletries and kitchen essentials like oil and spices if you want to cook. We really enjoyed the great view of the lake and easy access across the street to swim. The surrounding gardens are well-maintained and the birds are lovely. It's only a short walk or tuk tuk ride to San Marcos.

We really enjoyed our stay! Daniel, our concierge, was always a text away and very responsive. Maria the housekeeper was very attentive and helpful, even in exchanging Queztales for us! The house had everything we needed. Just as pictured. Updated decor and fully stocked. Bedrooms and bathrooms were small. The house had no walking access to the lake. The lake views were amazing. We enjoyed the jacuzzi watching the sunset! The way up was very narrow and steep but well worth the spectacular views! Daniel’s instructions on how to get there were very detailed, but I suggest arriving early since the drive up can be tricky, so buy everything you need for your stay before arriving. Daniel helped us rent a boat for the whole day that took us around the lake and to San Juan, a picturesque village on the other side of the lake. Restaurant/bar nearby highly recommend Kinnik in Santa Catarina for drinks and appetizers and the empanadas from Terrazas Rst. Overall, a great stay with family!

This view was to die for! Watching the sunrise above the volcanoes every morning with a cup of coffee was so peaceful. The hike up from the main road is no joke. My boyfriend and I are from Florida and use to flat and no elevation so it was quite difficult but as long as you take breaks it makes it worth it! We took about 5 breaks the first time as we were carrying huge luggage (travel light if you can) but after that we would take 3 breaks up and no breaks down. But it was just the adventure we wanted!

Amazingly peaceful cottage on the edge of Santa Cruz. The view of the lake and volcanos will from the deck each morning will forever be solidified in my memory. The home is simple, clean, and charming. I hope to return someday.
