Pet-friendly vacation rentals in San José Island

We loved this place! Everything was clean and tidy, the outdoor space was fantastic (inc lots of outdoor games!), and the house was super well stocked. Literally everything we could have needed was supplied. We didn’t realize there wasn’t an oven but they had an air fryer and a grill so we were able to change up the food plans slightly and it worked just fine. Dakota was super helpful and responsive and even checked in halfway through to make sure we were doing well. We love the location and our dog loved walking around the neighborhood. We will definitely stay here again!

This was my second time to stay here. I like this place because it is close to town, the water and it has a nice yard and gated property. Sharon was very quick to respond to any questions.

The house was perfect for our work crew, there were 6 of us and we all fit comfortably. The garage was big enough to fit our trailer and all 5 trucks inside. I could see how this would be a great location for fishing as well, it was 30 minutes from Port A as well as Chorpus.

Although we didn’t actually end up staying in this place, rather another unit because of unforeseen damage to this house prior to our arrival, Linda gave us a beautiful alternative and exactly what we needed. Was so close to everything, great fenced in back yard for our tiny pups! Loved the outdoor spaces too! We will Definitely be back next year but will stay much longer! Linda was great to work with and always responsive to our needs (ie, smoke alarms going off in the middle of the night!).

We really appreciated the communication and opportunity for an early check-in, without even asking for one. Easy to follow instructions before and upon arrival, made for quick access to the property to begin enjoying the impressive dock and outdoor space on the beautiful bay. The space was perfect for our group of 6 (age range from 17-85). There was plenty of comfortable seating both inside and outside, cozy beds complete with extra bedding in the closet, a well stocked kitchen (and outdoor grills) to prepare and serve meals. The privacy of the downstairs bed/bath/game room was the highlight for our late teen/early 20 year olds; they liked that they had their own "apartment." (Note for parents with younger children: this space is only accessed from outside on the ground floor). The neighborhood felt safe, was quiet (during Spring Break). No luck fishing, but we enjoyed watching the birds, ducks, dolphins, and sunsets. Easy 45 min. drive/ferry to Port Aransas beaches. We'd rent again!

The coastal mint was a perfect family getaway destination. This place is kept really well and Chris and Kelly are super responsive hosts who have also made their place filled with all necessities one could require for a beach vacation with kids. Highly recommend!

The house was fantastic, the yard was fantastic, our stay was fantastic. Darla was super responsive to our questions and had really good suggestions.

This is the perfect home to getaway and relax. It's spacious with quiet surroundings and the pool is amazing. We enjoyed watching the wildlife in the evenings. We will definitely book again.

Beautiful home, golf cart is a major bonus. Pool was a great hit with the kids, warmer for the pool works wonderfully as well. Lots of beach/pool toys in the garage to use. Having a washer and dryer at the home was huge for us. Would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting an “at home” feel, but at the same time feel like you’re on a paradise vacation.

The home was in a great location, not too far from restaurants, marina and etc and it was a very quiet neighborhood. Sarah was very responsive and helpful.

Fantastic getaway, extremely close to the beach and the liveliness of Port Aransas. We loved every minute and will DEFINITELY go back.

We had an amazing stay, it was a short 5-10 min walk from the beach which was exactly what my group was looking for! Sheldon has anything and everything you could think of from a wagon to cooking seasoning. We will definitely be staying again and recommending it to family and friends

We had a wonderful stay! The place was peaceful, well-equipped, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The host was fantastic—very responsive and quick to address any questions or issues we had. Our family is already looking forward to coming back. I highly recommend it!

The accommodations were great and would definitely stay there again. They were very quick to respond with any questions.

My fiancé and I did not get to finish our stay here due to a wildfire that happened to catch not even a street away from the air bnb. However, Matt H. and Christine with Vacasa helped us tremendously. We were forced to leave 90% of our belongings in the home due to safety issues and were quite panicked. In the end, we were upgraded to a larger home and moved far away from the active wildfire. We were able to get the rest of our belongings. I have nothing but good things to stay about this company and would stay in their homes again. They put us at easy during a stressful time and made us feel at home again.

I booked my birthday vacation here it was great!! Thanks to the amazing host they were super helpful. Extremely quick to respond and very accommodating to my needs. It was super nice and clean inside made me feel right at home. Outside was beautiful too very spacious. The beach is a quick little drive, everything was really close. My friends, family, dog, and I loved it. Definitely worth the price and will most definitely book here again.

Nice house. Plenty of room for the 3 of us. Plenty of clean linens and towels. Beds were already made for us.

Scott's is an amazing host. Scott is quick to respond to any questions and gave the best instructions on how to get there and how to get inside the location. This Coastal home is very roomy, clean, with plenty of space to feel comfortable to relax. The outside decks have great views. The furniture is also well kept and comfortable. We were amazed at the price we got it for. We would highly recommend this Coastal home to anyone wanting a fully equipped, quiet location, that's just minutes away from the restraunts, convenient stores, and the BEACH.

This is my favorite place stay in Rockport! The location & view are fabulous. Has everything you need for your to stay, especially if enjoy to cooking.

Julie’s place was perfect for me and my husband. Quick getaway and pretty close to restaurants and towns. This is a cozy place - one room with comfortable bed and beautiful garden. Two chairs and TV trays if you’re eating takeout.

My little family, 2 dogs and I absolutely loved our stay. It was peaceful and quiet and we will be staying here again for our next visit. Our dogs loved having a place to roam around and be fenced in. The place was very relaxing and cute.

Great place to stay first time visiting rock port! Wasn’t too far from everything. Love to cook and kitchen had everything I needed to do so.
