Vacation rentals with breakfast in San Andres and Providencia

Rosa and Leonidas are awesome hosts they make you feel very welcome as part of their family and community. The Mangrove House is a great place to get away from the fast paced world and slow down to an island beat. Your room is clean and spacious with excellent internet and their is breakfast and taxi service right on the property. The home is adjacent to a fantastic beach teeming with a network of shallow coral vallies. The reef is abundant with marine life and I saw a few nurse sharks milling about so bring a good set of snorkel and fins. Restaurants and a convenience store are nearby and it is easy to take the ubiquitous local buses downtown and back. An awesome braidist and a cool beach side open air reggae bar are a few meters away. If your thing is to laze and relax on an uncrowded beach, swim and snorkel in clear colorful water or take a few cool pics with your mate on a quiet beach then check out the Mangrove House.

Schaquira was responsive before and throughout our stay. Breakfast was well-served and delicious: she served us eggs (scrambled with onions and tomatoes), fresh juice, coffee, and mixed fruits daily. The bed was comfy and large (king-sized). The bedroom and bathroom were clean (we’re very allergic, so this is an important point). The water was cold, but we already knew that (it’s so hot on the island - 30°C - that the cold water was actually welcome). She’s making constant renovations and improvements to the place. Accommodations are simple and homey. The location is a little over 30mins to the center by foot, so we recommend renting a motorcycle or a car if you have a longer stay, as cabs will cost anywhere from 15-30K COP each way. We rented a motorcycle for 80K COP/day. The sunsets are beautiful and the walk seemed safe and was pleasant. Finally, Schaquira is extremely nice and accommodating. We were happy with our stay. It is a beautiful accommodation, the house is spacious, it has an excellent layout, the rooms are large, the atmosphere is quiet, cool and the pool is perfect to cool off after a day at the beach. Santiago and Ana María's service exceeded expectations, they gave excellent recommendations including the restaurants Lupita and Los 80s, the food was delicious. Definitely a place we'd love to go back to.

An excellent place to rest, it is very quiet and away from noise, the staff is very friendly and attentive to give the required recommendations. Keep in mind that there are no stores nearby, so I recommend that as soon as you arrive on the island, purchase the supplies you need to take with you at once. I definitely recommend it.😊🤙🏼🙏🏼

Absolute paradise on earth- we loved every second of staying in Providencia and Miss Francia's home was perfect for our stay. Zunny and Sandra were excellent hosts who would promptly answer all our questions (before and during our stay) and resolved any issues we had as quickly as possible! The neighbours, especially Javier and residents of the island are also very friendly and approachable and made our stay magical, with many inviting us to their homes. We felt like part of the family in Providencia! We were picked up by our amazing diving instructor Marcos right in front of Miss Francia's home and couldn't imagine a better place than this to go diving from. Another highlight was walking from our room to Morgan's Head early in the morning to go snorkelling- so many beautiful tropical fish! Being a vegetarian, food choices were limited until we met Tashy who created the most delicious vegetarian food on the Island and the best vegetarian burger I had ever had! Thank you for having us!

We are very happy after visiting Jennifer and Rodney made our stay amazing, friendly and super facilitators of all plans. Thank you for making us feel at ease and our baby for spooking it so much for everyone at the hotel ! One Warmth we'll be back

Definitely one of the best places I have stayed, the human quality, the environment, the facilities, the affection and concern of Estelita, Jorge and Steven, really that we left with the swollen son-in-law of joy and affection from everyone... we look forward to a conversation with Carlos with a few fries to tell the story of the place, but that forces us to return without doubt...they say that one always comes back where he was happy and we were immensely happy so we will return friends!!! 100 out of 100

Jairo is an exceptional host, among the best hosts I have visited (if not the best)! He welcomed me with special attention, he explained the island of Providencia to me in detail with good coffee. Throughout my stay, he helped me a lot and made my trip easier. With his contacts, I was able to easily rent a scooter, take a boat trip, eat in good restaurants! Lunches are also very good😋! The room and house are perfect, as described on the listing. In short, I would 100% recommend this little paradise on earth! I hope to come back!

We stayed in the house for about 9 nights and it was a pretty last-minute arrangement. Ovida was extremely helpful throughout the entire stay, always ready with an answer for everything we asked. The family was absolutely lovely, super friendly and helpful. The location is amazing, outside of town so if you want to go to the central parts it’s good to rent a bike or you need to count with buses and taxis, but otherwise- perfect. Quiet, peaceful, within 2 minutes walking from a gorgeous beach with amazing snorkelling, diving and plain swimming opportunities. Sadly the room wasn’t entirely as clean as I would have preferred but apart from that small detail, i and my partner absolutely enjoyed staying there and would return happily for our next time.

Naeeth and her husband were warm-hearted and welcoming. They cared a lot for my well beeing. The room is like in the pictures and you can enjoy a beautiful sunrise. The kitchen is not yet ready (there’s a fridge and a sink). Motos are actually not as easy accessible as on San Andres, so ask for it early enough. I can recommend it very much to stay with them - i enjoyed it!

Jairo and Jenni were great hosts. Since we walked in we felt right at home, very comfortable. We always count on the help and excellent willingness to organize walks, activities, what and where to eat. 100% available to provide information and help us. It was really a fantastic experience. With my son we were super happy to have chosen them in our stay at Old Providence. I congratulate you on the tidy, organized and clean of your house, all the details add up and the good energy is felt.

very beautiful place, excellent value for money, and Shakira the girl who took care of us so much and cordial to help us with everything. Very happy to have stayed here. And with a lot of nostalgia for having to leave.

The place is very nice, we loved the room, its balcony and its view. A very spacious room with air conditioning and a king size bed. The breakfast is very delicious, Stella's service is excellent. We will be back!

What a lovely place to spend your holidays! The room was very comfortable and every detail was thought of. The whole place was very clean and idyllic!
