Quiet country setting only 3 miles from Downtown Huntsville, 4.5 miles from SHSU, 1 mile from Walker County Fair . Home is a perfect place to come relax after a long day at work or a day shopping on the square. We are surrounded by trees and deer love to come visit morning and night. The guest quarters are set up like a hotel with a full size fridge, microwave, and coffee pot. The space has its own entrance and guests have the ability to come and go as needed without disturbing homeowners.

Enjoy the solitude and beauty of a stay at the Cottage at Jones Road Ranch overlooking grazing horses. Next door is the Golden Oaks Micro Cellar winery. Tell them you're staying at the cottage and enjoy 15% off of wine tasting. Relax on the front or back porch with a views of the ranch or if you prefer a more active stay, hike or bike in the local Sam Houston National Forest or Huntsville State Park. The fully equipped kitchen is perfect to fix up your gourmet meals. The Bluebonnet is nestled beside our glistening 1/2 acre pond with ducks, fish and a fountain. A wooded area behind and open fields out front brings a nice breeze across the porch. Makes for a perfect place to enjoy the Big Texas Sky!

This is a great place to relax and unwind while enjoying the beautiful sunset and sunrise at the lake in Sam Houston National Forest with the geese, the ducks, and the birds, and keeping an eye out for the deer enjoying the lake. There's plenty of yard for your furbabies to enjoy. There's lots of scenery on the drive to the cottage (forests, wildlife, lakes, countryside, wineries, farms, wedding venues, etc.); you never know what you can capture, so bring your camera.

This forest cabin has access to a fishing pier that is fully stocked with native fish (no license required); please follow lake rules. Bring your kayaks and paddleboards to enjoy the lake. There's lots of scenery (forests, wildlife, lakes, countryside, etc.); you never know what you can capture, so bring your camera!

Escape to our quaint, cozy cabin just 10 minutes from downtown Huntsville and 3 miles from The Blue Lagoon. Nestled next to one of two creeks on the property you can relax on the front porch, take nature walks, swim in Nelson Creek or sit beneath the pines and watch the stars at night from the private hot tub. The cabin is a studio setup with a comfy queen bed. The sun room has a daybed with a floor trundle. Coffee and bottled water provided.
