Waterfront vacation rentals in Salzkammergut

Everything was just wonderful - the location, the apartment and the hosts. We were on site for the Mondsee bike marathon and enjoyed not only the great central location, but also the top amenities of the apartment and last but not least the fact that it was always pleasantly cool in the apartment due to the old vault (which is really an unbeatable plus at over 30° C). We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back! :)

We stayed here for 3 nights and felt absolutely comfortable!.Super nice and uncomplicated hosts, a private parking lot, lake view from the balcony, immaculately clean and chicly furnished...Really a very nice and great apartment. highly recommended!

Good location, swimming in the creek gaz nearby.

This was easily one of the best places we’ve stayed so far. Doris and Anna were extremely responsive and helpful. They were the first hosts that provided slippers for guests. It’s truly the small little things that count. Besides being extremely thoughtful hosts, their place is squeaky clean and turned out to be exactly the same (in fact, even better!) as what was being featured in the listing. The place was easy to locate as well, with clear instructions. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for somewhere private and cosy!

This bnb was convenient to Salzburg yet also had a secluded and private feel to it. Only a few km from Salzburg, this spacious rental was large enough for my family of 5. The property backed up to a beautiful forest and creek. Bea was a great host, giving local recommendations, clear check in instructions, and responded promptly to any needs we had.

I would definitely visit again! :)

We really enjoyed our stay in Bad Ischl! The property is in an absolutely quiet and idyllic location – perfect to escape the ordinary. The hostess was extremely friendly and accommodating, which made the stay even more pleasant. The apartment is fully equipped and leaves nothing to be desired. We especially enjoyed the beautiful garden, which is ideal for relaxing and lingering. The location is also perfect for excursions in the area: numerous lakes and wonderful mountain tours can be reached in a short time. We felt completely comfortable and can highly recommend staying here!

Great location, big and cozy house.

Looking for a rustic alpine hut, arrived in cold and fog, but then compensated with a breathtaking panorama! A beautiful cottage that invites you from the first moment, super well equipped, a warming stove for cold days, places to linger and dream. Great hikes along the lakes or to the peaks. A dream, a place to return!

Perfect place to spend the week with the family. Lots to do within a short drive. Felt like home and had everything we needed and more! Great that there was a washer and dryer.

We had a great time at Karin's place - the house and the garden are beautiful and great for relaxation. Karin communication well in advance with us and checked in in between.

Communication with Vanessa was super straightforward and very friendly. The house is in every way in real eye-catching!

Katharina’s place was incredible! The views were amazing and Katharina was super friendly. If you are looking for a peaceful, well kept place to stay, then this is it. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and wish we could have stayed longer!

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay in Viechtwang. The accommodation is exactly as described, located in a quiet neighbourhood in the beautiful Almtal. Veronika is a fantastic host, very friendly, responsive and happy to provide you with local recommendations.

We will definitely revisit this apartment. Spotless, full kitchen, separate bedroom. Comfortable and lovely furniture and bed. Lovely, sunny living room. Handy washing machine. One of the best B&B we've ever had.

Diana is a very friendly and helpful host who responds promptly to questions. The apartment is modern and tastefully furnished, so we felt very comfortable. The location is also fantastic, directly opposite the valley station of the cable car and with views of the valley downhill. With the gondola, you can get to the Dachstein West ski area very quickly. The apartment also includes a heated compartment in the ski depot. A general store where you can get fresh rolls and the most necessary everyday items is within walking distance. There are also a few restaurants in the village. We enjoyed the days in Rußbach very much and would come back anytime.

We have been very lucky. We loved Claudia and Claudia's apartment. It was perfect for us. Warm, cosy and with everything we needed. The village of Fuschl and the lake are delightful and well placed for trips around. Her recommendation to use the bus for Salzburg was a good idea. There is a bakery and a grocer just a few steps away. We can't wait to go back.

Sandra’s home was a perfect stay. Conveniently located and well equipped. I’ve been in 7 other Airbnbs in the last month in Europe and this hands down has the best shower and most comfortable bed -it felt like home. Sandra had great recommendations and was quick to responding. It felt nice and quiet despite the foot traffic outside (it’s a main road). I would not hesitate to stay here again.

A beautiful place for our family trip to Salzburg. The apartment was big! Two comfortable bedrooms with a gorgeous bathroom and separate toilet. The kitchen was fantastic! We made breakfast each day and was a dream to cook in. The hosts were friendly and flexible in letting us stay slightly longer before our return flight. There is a small bakery plus a good supermarket close by. Would recommend!

We had a great weekend at Villa Traunseeblick. Herta, our host, graciously accepted our last minute booking. The apartment was very clean, well equipped with everything you needed and had an amazing outdoor space to relax and enjoy views of the lake. It was very comfortable and just what we needed.
