Very comfortable stay. I was weary it might be too loud being next to the highway but I never heard a peep all night, probably because it’s tucked back a bit. Would recommend if you need a place to stay for a day or two

The Peaceful Beach House

We’ve rented homes on Fire Island for years. This is one of the most pleasant. It’s light and airy, tastefully decorated, well located, and had everything we needed to have a great family vacation including plenty of bikes, beach chairs, wagons, a well-equipped kitchen, and generous indoor and outdoor seating. It also has one of the most lovely outdoor showers we’ve had on Fire Island. The hot tub was a nice plus, though I found it a bit challenging to keep the water clear for 6 days. Bromine is provided, but I wasn’t sure how much to use, and it was a project to drain it and clean it at the end of our stay. Maybe if you are more familiar with hot tubs than me, you would have no problem. Our host was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!

Karen’s home was so beautiful, well decorated and comfortable. The home was very well equipped with everything we needed including high end amenities all throughout the home and a chefs kitchens dream. We have stayed in Airbnb’s in many parts of the country and the home far exceeded our expectations. On top of that Karen was a kind and responsive host. We really would give this host and home 10 stars if that was possible. Highly recommend that you book the home of you have the opportunity.

Tanya's place was a charming, private beach house tucked away in the corner of Atlantique with beautiful bay views. We know Fire Island very well, so it was easy for us to find the property; however, Tanya is very responsive and helpful when you arrive. Although the house has no extra frills, the place has everything you need to enjoy a quiet beach weekend including a beautiful deck. Atlantique is about a mile walk from Ocean Beach and Fair Harbor where you can find restaurants and small shops.

Could not have asked for a better week on Fire Island. Vita Nova is a dream come true - relaxing, cozy, with great cooking accoutrements for the grill, pizza oven, and stovetop. A great selection of beach items and toys as well as games for a rainy day inside, and great bikes to take you across the island. We can’t wait to come back!

Cute little pool house. Updated to cover the needs of a couple. I would definitely plan on spending time at the beach or restaurants as the area is great. Ideal place to come back to for some sleep before heading back out again.

I had an amazing stay at Susan and Mark’s. I cannot thank them enough for their hospitality and how well kept the apartment is. It is super cozy with everything you could ask for. Comfy bed, big TV, fast wifi, kitchenette, and spotless bathroom. I also loved the apartment’s close proximity to ISP and the LIRR. This apartment is a gem that I would not hesitate to stay at again!
