A winter-inhabitable cottage built completely new in a traditional log cabin frame in 2019. In the cottage, you can relax in a hotel-level bed while watching the fireplace. The small kitchen is well equipped. The wonderful sauna heats up at the touch of a button. The cottage is located in the immediate vicinity of Suomutunturi, approx. 145 km from Rovaniemi airport. In addition to cross-country skiing and downhill skiing, the area has excellent opportunities for outdoor activities and hiking, even in the summer. The hotel rents skis and organizes excursions.

The apartment is in the top location of East Ruka on the slope, at ground level, on the side of the slope in a sunny location. From the door straight to the ski slope. All of these are 100m away: Gondola, Rosa&Rudolf Familypark, Skibus stop, RukaValley restaurants, ticket sales & rental, K-Market (open during the winter season). Samuam B-talo Aurora Cabin Sallatunturissa

An experience destination in Sallatunturi close to slopes and services. Built in 2021. Accommodation, igloo barbecue hut and separate sauna with wood stove. Electric car charging facility 7 kW, included in the rental price. Wooden, partially glass-roofed northern lights hut. Ideally suited for indoor observation of the northern lights and starry sky in winter. In summer, the hut is illuminated by the midnight sun. There are no curtains on the ceiling, so the hut stays bright according to the daylight (in summer, the night is sleepless).

Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the old and idyllic school in its spacious upstairs apartment (k, oh, 2mh, sauna/toilet/shower, 2 hallways). The beautiful surroundings offer wonderful outdoor opportunities - the ski trail to the nearby hills starts from the yard, the adjacent lake allows ice fishing, in the summer you can hike and pick berries in the nearby hills, a rowing boat is waiting on the school beach. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking. The apartment and courtyard are well suited for families with children.

An old idyllic front house in the village of Salla, where the traces of life can be seen. Our old granny, who is now also available for guests for private use. Relax with the whole family or friends at this peaceful place to stay, in a prime location "In the middle of nowhere". My own three-acre plot extends all the way to the Ruuhijoki river. In the yard, in winter, there are huge snowdrifts for children to play. Behind the barn are magnificent sarapellos, from which you can admire the scenery and the northern lights.

A clean and well-equipped apartment that makes you want to stay longer. The upper loft shared by the three apartments has good facilities for ski and equipment maintenance. You can also make a fire in the yard grill and cook a small snack, for example. The apartment is air-conditioned, so you can enjoy the cool air even in summer.

Cozy cottage near by Ruka (5km). Only three semi-detached houses in the same area. The nearest grocery store (Sale market) is 3 km away. Linens (sheet, duvet cover, pillowcase) and towels are not included in the rent, they must be brought to the cottage yourself. Or you can rent them from me for an extra fee €25/person. Toilet paper and paper towels are available at the cottage. The rental includes 1 bag of firewood.

Kelokolo Salla

Cozy log apartment (kitchen, bedroom, loft, sauna and bathroom) in Sallatunturi. Ski trail, dog sledding trail and access to the snowmobile trail about 100m away. Slopes, restaurants and sports venues 600m-1km. Salla National Park 3km, Karhunkierros and the rugged scenery of Oulanka National Park 32km. Beautiful, peaceful outdoor and wilderness opportunities. Reasonable basic equipment, well-behaved pets are welcome.
