Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Salem County

Dawn had thought of everything one could possibly need and provided copious snacks and supplies. I especially loved the second floor. It was sunny and extremely spacious. I had a hard time pulling myself away from the space to go downstairs to the first floor. The bedroom and bathrooms were huge. The separate working space/office had a huge walk-in closet space. There were lots of closets as well as lots of good hangers. I appreciated all the thoughtfulness Dawn put into everything throughout the entire unit. Highly recommend!

My wife and I stayed with Michael to attend a wedding at Bellevue Hall. The house was perfect, as it was only a 5 mins drive from the venue and had plenty of food options nearby. Michael was incredibly responsive and was flexible with a specific need we had to make the location work. The expectations were all clear and logistics were smooth from early communication to check-out. Neighborhood was comfortable as well. Would highly recommend if you need a place to stay for an event at Bellevue or just need a quiet place to relax.

Tyeesa's home very clean and spacious. We loved the front porch and the piano.

We had a wonderful stay at Bernita’s! The home was just as described, with little extra touches like some snacks, water, and bathroom amenities which made us feel extra welcomed. The location was great, very central and easy to get around. Bernita was also kind enough to offer her expertise as a realtor and long time Delaware resident when I shared we were looking at homes in the area. Would definitely stay here again!

Bob's was as described. Street parking was easy. Worked out well for the 6 of us.

This is a great place to stay! During the winter months they made sure everything was shoveled and salted. They always took the trash to the curb. I felt like I was at home. If you want to walk and take the sights in, then this is definitely the place for you. The host is very accommodating and attentive should you have any questions or concerns. I give this place 5 stars!!!

I enjoyed my stay in Wilmington. The apartment building was quiet, and I slept well. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen had what I needed to make meals and clean up. There is an Acme a short drive away. I appreciated the free Netflix. The WiFi worked great - I WFH so that was important. The rooms get a good amount of natural light. You can control the temperature in the bedroom and the remaining rooms with a second control. Everything worked as expected. The host kindly checked in to make sure all was well.

Angela was an amazing host, and would recommend her to my closest friends. her apartment was immaculate. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils/plates/bowls/pots and pans. The driveway can be a bit tricky in the morning when it is dark, but it is made up by the fact that the upper driveway is wide enough for 3 cars. Angela is very responsive, and loves to help.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Jeff made our stay very pleasant with his quick responses and easy to follow instructions. There are so many food options and there is A LOT to do within a very short walking distance. Whenever my family and I come back to Deleware, we will definitely be staying here again!

I cannot recommend Regina and her place enough! She was incredibly proactive before and during my stay, often reaching out to ensure everything was set. Her kindness and friendliness made me feel right at home, and she went above and beyond to make sure I had a fantastic experience. The space itself was great! It was cozy and exactly as described. It’s clear that she cares about her guests and takes pride in creating a wonderful stay.

We had a wonderful weekend at Maribel's, it was perfect for a girls weekend getaway. The house is close to everything and everything is in walking distance. The zoo is 1 mile to the east, little Italy is 1 mile north, 1 mile to Trolley Square and the riverfront is 1 mile south of the rental. We had dinner at Trolley Square Oyster House and Dead Presidents in Little Italy, highly recommend them both. We arrived at check in time and didn't have a problem finding parking right in front of the rental, we walked or used uber the entire weekend so we didn't need to move the car. We will definitely be coming back. Thanks Maribel.

Nikhil's place is great! Amazing location for anything going on in downtown Wilmington. Very comfortable and Nikhil was very communicative.

I was traveling alone and I felt very safe. Great restaurants just across the streets. Everything was communicated before check-in; so I had no reason to contact host. Relaxing 4 days

The apartment was perfect, quiet and peaceful with plenty of space to do my work and also relax. A great neighborhood with plenty of walkable restaurants and an Acme grocery store.

Marc place was a little piece of paradise looking over a wide vista of trees and distant beautiful architecture ….. street parking was no problem and it was close to everywhere it seemed! It was quiet and secluded and cosy warm ☺️

Responsive host, place was as advertised and very clean. Plenty of amenities.
