We are unaffected by load-shedding due to our newly installed solar-powered system. The Piet-My-Vrou holiday home is a 3 bedroom house with a large open plan kitchen and lounge. The kitchen is well equipped and includes a dishwasher and box freezer. The living room opens up to a covered verandah with seating, tables and chairs. The garden is fenced with a shared swimming pool. The bedrooms have two three-quarter beds in each room. There is one full bathroom and one en-suite. AC's in every room.

Relax and unwind with your family at this peaceful place to stay. Located in a complex on the estuary banks in the main road of St.Lucia making it central to shops and restaurants. Lush gardens. Private patio with built in braai and outdoor furniture. Bathroom has a walk in shower and a corner bath. Fully equipped for self catering. Provisions for loadshedding such as emergency lights and a gas stove are fitted. Secure parking. There is a odd step or two throughout the home and outside areas.

Next to the swimming pool and a communal path and own bbq (braai) and garden furniture. Small bathroom through the kitchen ( basin toilet shower). Gas stove. Ceiling fans only. 1 Large bedroom. Lounge & dining. Appliances, furniture and decor vary ( new, old, handmade bought) items. NOT modern but simple & functional arty. No TV.

This wonderful home has a base rate Tarrif for 2 guests, additional guests are most welcome up to 15 people, at an additional fee. 21 Hornbill is a spacious and airy home with lots of natural light. The living areas open onto a large wooden deck, under cover for alfresco dining and relaxing. The deck overhangs the pool for easy dipping into and cooling off. The home has a friendly, welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. A great space to kick back and have a wonderful holiday!

This Airbnb was wonderfully equipped and offered excellent value. Its location was perfect,in walking distance to shops and restaurants. The check-in and check-out processes was easy and efficient.

If I could give a 6 stars rating, I would. This place is more like a boutique hotel than a Bed and Breakfast. I spent a week there and could not have been happier with my choice. Mandy and Simon are amazing hosts and some of the nicest people you will even meet. The breakfast was superb, with fresh fruits, eggs, and the greatest omelette (Simon you are the “omelette master”). The beds are super comfy and the way the house is set-up the rooms are very quiet. The attention to details to enhance your stay is stunning, everything you may need is there; It shows they have been hosts for a long time. In the back there is a great swimming pool with confortable chairs and you have your little terrace in the back of your room. I have been to lots of AirBnb (40+) in many different countries and this has to be one of the best if not the best. If you visit, you will be very happy with your choice and the place will probably exceed your expectation. Thanks and million Mandy, Simon.

We had such a great time. The Airbnb was great and in a beautiful location. We went fishing with a charter called Wave Dancer and that was epic as well.

A charming second-floor apartment is surrounded by lush greenery. A balcony with wooden railings overlooks the garden, where a hippopotamus is grazing peacefully. Large glass doors offer views into the living space, enhancing the connection between nature and the indoors.

St Lucia is a lovely village, very much set up for tourists on the search for hippos. The apartment was nice and had everything we needed. Bathroom had a decent shower. lots of African craft scattered around the apartment gave a nice feel.
