Sarah went above and beyond for us in letting us checkout later than the scheduled time due to the weather conditions. She was very responsive and took good care of our needs. Good getaway spot for a weekend in the winter. The area was quiet and private. Not too many people around which was great. Not far from downtown Lake George and 15 min from Bolton Landing. Place was clean and had everything we wanted! We will go again at some point! Beautiful views if you walk towards the water. Fireplace worked well. Kitchen and bathroom were very clean. All basic amenities provided.

A Perfect Beachside Escape! I recently stayed at this charming homestay near the beach, and it was nothing short of amazing! The location is unbeatable—just a few steps from the shore, offering stunning sunrise and sunset views right from the balcony. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The room was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. What truly stood out was the peaceful atmosphere and the sound of the waves at night—it was the perfect getaway to relax and unwind. I also appreciated the local tips and delicious homemade breakfast offered each morning. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing beachside retreat. The chalet was nice and cozy! The weather was beautiful with the exception of the last day, and we spent all weekend sitting outside looking at the view. Loved the island and the accessibility of the house.

We went with a few families to the cottage and we really enjoyed it. The view is beautiful and it was very quiet! Even though the weather conditions were not optimal we played board games and the children had plenty of space to have fun! Thank you & we'll be back for sure :)

What a great place to unwind and watch nature. We saw lots of birds, including an osprey grabbing a fish out of the water! The hot-tub was clean and great for sitting back and taking the views in. I highly recommend staying in any one of the homes hosted by Jay, you won’t regret it!

This was my second stay this year and it was just as excellent in autumn as it was in early summer. Clean, cozy, homey, extremely well-equipped, excellent communication, private and quieter than you would expect given it is on the highway. Firm beds, great water pressure and hot water, bathtub. The path to the beach is magical, though steep enough when you come back up! We love the beach too, it's great for walking and beachcombing. Altogether a relaxing, restorative stay in a beautiful part of the world. Thank you so much, Angèle! We will be back.

Great large house for groups. Multiple wings with large rooms which gives privacy and comfort. Lots Of space for portable cribs for infants. Elsa was a very responsive host and was very clear on all house rules. Lockbox entry was convenient. Very peaceful house. Only caveat(s) is I would suggest bringing disposable plates/utensils if you are a large group. There is not a lot available in the kitchen for multiple meals a day if cooking and eating at the location. If you are traveling with infants or children be mindful there is a lot of breakable items which we had to baby proof during our stay.

It was an amazing experience staying at the Island. Surrounded by the lake it had great views and was private and serene. A must visit place if you like lakes and live close to the nature. JP is very friendly and amazing host. Despite there being a boat reserved for us to drive on the mainland JP helped us travel to and from the mainland even when it was 11 PM in the night which we really appreciate. He was very responsive with communication and responded very quickly to all our queries and requests. 10 stars for the amazing host who made our stay 10 times more amazing. Thank you!

Everything as expected - Great location for a quick getaway from the city. Quiet, great for small group. Beds in main bedrooms comfy.

Genevieve's bungalow was the perfect home base for a trip to visit UVM with my daughter. The location was perfect — walkable to the lake and downtown. We rented a car so were able to drive to campus in just minutes. Her place was cozy and charming as promised. We loved the huge library of books and beautiful art on the walls. Plus, visits from Cecil the cat made it all the better. Genevieve was very easy to communicate with, directions to get inside etc. were clear, and we felt well taken care of. I can't recommend her place enough. My daughter is likely to attend UVM in the fall, and we'll be sure to book this AirBnB again.

The house was exactly what we needed for our trip to the Ottawa area—exactly as depicted in the description! My partner arrived before I did, and Anne was very responsive, answering his questions as I was still driving to the house. We also appreciated that someone came to clear even more space in the parking area while we were there. Would highly recommend for anyone who needs a place to stay with their dogs.

Great stay for my family of 2 children and 2 adults. The house is very well located for discovering Lac Saint Jean and the Saguenay Fjord, and it is perfectly equipped and clean. Maryanne was very responsive to our questions.

Had a wonderful time at Derek's home for a girl's get together weekend. We enjoyed each having our own room and the rest of the home was suited to our needs. Being so close to the beach is an awesome perk! We want to return :)
