Family-friendly vacation rentals in Saint-Jean-des-Piles

We were a big group, the view in front of the lake was so nice! There is too much snow to be able to walk on the lake, the place looks like in the picture, however the bedrooms in the picture look bigger than the actual size. Everything is clean. The Dorwin park is just 7 minutes drive and have a walk there, very nice. I found the mattress a bit soft. Renato was very responsive and great host!

We had a great stay with friends at Marie's chalet. The chalet is beautiful, very cozy and super well equipped. It's very easy to communicate with our host who is super responsive to messages. I recommend it, everything was perfect!

Very nice wooden cottage in the snow in a beautiful forest, we took advantage of this beautiful place .. we hope to come back in September to enjoy the Indian summer and its environment.. we saw several times a beautiful blue jay on the terrace , welcoming and responsive hosts. Thanks for the great time.

This is a perfect bike-in/bike-out for lovers of the outdoors and VBN's Shanahan area. Quiet, mountain views, beautiful terrace with mosquito shelter. It's not the big luxury, but it feels good, like a real cottage.;) The outdoor space is nice for children, there are plenty of outdoor toys available and nice swings. Indoor space is limited, especially the regular bedrooms (not the 2nd floor) and the kitchen/chilling spot area. But when you run the basement, it's perfect! And we're here especially to have fun on the trails of VBN so we're almost never in the cottage! Great stay! ☺️

I highly recommend Pierre and Jonathan's cottage. The veranda is by far my favorite room with 360° views of the outside and the fireplace... a real haven of peace! Hosts are responsive and warm. They have a very well written guide to explain how the cottage works which makes us totally autonomous. We didn't want for anything during the stay because it is fully equipped (not to mention the large library of board games and the sound system throughout the house... a treat). Access to hiking trails is close by car. I'll be happy to come back in the summer to enjoy the trails and the lake. Thank you for everything, it was a perfect 5 days!

A group of eight stayed here (Loon) for two nights and we really enjoyed the place. The location is really great, with direct access to the lake. We especially enjoyed the paddle boards, kayaks and paddle boat, as well as the abundant space and comfortable chairs to hang out on the lawn (and around the fire at night). There are neighbours, but it still felt private and was super quiet. Wonderful amenities in the house and for outdoor activities. The hosts were super responsive and addressed our needs very kindly and promptly. Definitely recommended.

The perfect stay!!! Exactly what we were looking for to spend the Easter holidays in the heart of nature in a cozy and warm place! Impeccable cleanliness, very well equipped, it has everything you need for a restful and relaxing stay! Daniel is very welcoming and friendly! In short, we enjoyed our short stay very much; the only downside: we didn't stay long enough!! 😉

Staying in the yurt was a magical experience to have even during a very cold winter. The yurt was warm upon arrival and the wood fire stove heated it up to a comfortable temperature quickly. We arrived significantly later than planned but the hosts were accommodating and were able to bring us to our yurt with ease. The sauna and the spa were wonderful and ready for use when we arrived at our booked slot. The views were amazing, the deer were plentiful, and the hosts were very supportive. We were able to snow tube directly down the hill from our yurt and had the most fun like we were kids again. Shout out to Charles for being so helpful and a warm friendly face during a frigid snowstorm. We will definitely be back, thank you!

I think it's heavenly place. The chalet is comfortable, rustic and everything is there. It's also close to the toilet. The small lake is very pretty and it was pleasant to walk with my dog around it. Martin is very quick to respond to any questions. I would go back 100%. Thanks for a lovely stay.

The place is nice and cozy. The hot tub and sauna were wonderful to use in the winter, especially after a day of ice skating at Domaine Enchanteur. The bed was very comfortable. No real channel selections on the TV so bring a Roku if you wanted to watch something. Overall would recommend a stay here.

Lovely quiet place! We enjoyed the spa and sauna directly attached to the cottage, the cleanliness of the place and the way it was arranged. In winter there is not much to do/visit around, but it was very quiet and allowed you to rest well. We were able to buy wood directly on site to make a fire. We have only positive things to say and surely go back.
