My friend and I went for a long awaited weekend away and Remon and Anita's place was just perfect! I would say its even better than the pictures. The Gite has all the things you could possibly ask for including very comfortable beds, a pristinely clean bathroom and we loved the gite's rustic decoration and feel. The kitchen is fully kitted out and had coffee and tea included which was great. The Gite has its own outside terrace where, due to the lovely weather, we spent most of our time as well as next to the pool in the secluded garden which has sun loungers we could use as well. Lastly, Anita was super helpful and responsive and both Remon and Anita were really great hosts, very friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone if you want a beautiful, peaceful and relaxing stay in southern france

This old sheepfold is just beautiful, a real charm with views of the Ardèche forests. Peaceful as a millpond, we were the only ones in three available cottages, and the owner and his family are totally discreet. The house is ultra cozy, quality bedding, the living room and fireplace are excellent. We only have one regret, the pool, it was too cold and so despite the owner's will, he could not heat it enough so we did without it. Apart from that, the owner has always been ultra responsive and very friendly, we feel the passion to receive in optimal conditions. Thank you and I look forward to seeing you again one day.

Incredible stay for 2 nights at this stunning house. The views are incredible, the walks around the local area are stunning. Highly recommend the local restaurant. Well worth a stay!!

We needed to enjoy a quiet moment, to rest for a long weekend of three days. The listing at this address seemed ideal, the reviews all unanimous… well… it's even better than we could have hoped for. The loft is very comfortable, spacious, nicely decorated, rare cleanliness…the best thing is the little touches all around you. The exterior is also very neat, swimming pool, jacuzzi accessible at any time and private, there is everything you need to feel good. Well, we could go on for a long time with the superlatives… breakfasts… meals…massages… but the icing on the cake is the hosts Anne-Lise and Frédéric… whose kindness and discretion complete this perfect and timeless moment. Friendly accommodation managed by no less friendly and very welcoming hosts. Don't be afraid of the small winding roads clinging to the sides of steep slopes to reach Rochepaule, a mid-mountain town in Ardèche. But you are rewarded with the beautiful landscapes that you discover along the way. 😊

If you love nature, tranquility and seclusion, you should really choose this accommodation. Beautifully located, beautiful view and very nicely furnished house. You immediately feel welcome at Franck and Atsuko's. We had a bit of rain, but then you can still sit outside under the canopies, which is an added value! In the area, you can take beautiful walks, and on site, there is a lot of nature to observe. Birds, butterflies, orchids: you have it all. Very nice was the daily greeting of the two beautiful horses. We named them Carotte and Caresse. (Bring some carrots!) For us, it was a successful vacation and by far the most tastefully decorated house.

Carina is a very friendly, lovely hostess and a lovingly atmospherically furnished cottage with a beautiful well-kept outdoor area, nestled in a beautiful landscape. We thoroughly enjoyed the silence there. Opportunities for a lot of activity in nature, nice villages and towns and good restaurants. We have taken the region and its inhabitants to heart. Return to the house not excluded 😀

A small accommodation nestled at the foot of the ruins of Retourtour Castle, in a charming setting. Simple but functional, consistent with the description and photos, and well maintained. Our host Gloria was very accommodating (she agreed to change our dates of stay). Very welcoming and full of suggestions for walks, restaurants, activities nearby.

Very warm and discreet hosts. The accommodation is superb and very well-equipped, and the exteriors are magnificent! In the bedroom, a small problem with bed legs that rock, but Laurent has been informed, and I'm sure he'll do what's necessary... Terrace with magnificent views! A small shade sail might be welcome... For cyclists, possibility to rent an electric mountain bike for €39 a day in Lamastre (8 km) to do the Via Dolce... Miles of cycling without crossing a car.... On the way back, swimming in the river at the bottom of the rental is very pleasant... What else? Note for a couple on a honeymoon... The toilet is in the bedroom... #romanticism 😉 For us, a great stay!!!! We discovered this small village in the middle of this peaceful valley. House/Stone cottage, well equipped, terrace overlooking the house just below the Thorrenc castle. Several trails and hiking trails. A change of scenery guaranteed, I recommend it without a second thought!

I had a lovely stay with my children who had a lot of fun, friendly welcome and very responsive host. The place is superb and the view is exceptional, close to the village center, and beautiful walks in perspective (we were unlucky with the weather which was not favorable). The space is well furnished, tidy and there is reading material and toys for toddlers, I recommend it. Thanks again for our stay.
