Family-friendly vacation rentals in Saint Charles

We had a great week. The location is ideal for traveling all over Basse-Terre. Naïdy and her daughter Emily were very welcoming and responsive. The accommodation is very as described, and the view of Pigeon Island is amazing! 😊

A very pleasant and clean house with an incredible beach view... you can put down your suitcases and take the small path to get to the beach in 5 minutes, the jacuzzi is also very pleasant because the terrace is surrounded by a small garden where a banana tree and other lush species grow. We are greeted by the song of small frogs and birds, not to mention the small anoles. Gérard thought of everything, beach towels and masks and snorkels... it's missing some kitchen utensils but it's just a detail! Now all that's left is to discover this beautiful island!

Florent & Nicole were wonderful hosts during our stay. They were able to answer our questions & their hospitality was great. The place is great. An amazing view, the jacuzzi to relax. The amenities present allow you to have a stay without missing anything. I would highly recommend it!

We had a lovely stay at Murielle's. Listing matches photos. There is a small private pool and Murielle's pool. Murielle is very welcoming, prepared delicious Accra for us and advised us on things to do in the area. We recommend this rental to discover Lower Normandy.

Very nice, brand new and well-equipped accommodation. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful covered terrace outside where we had all our meals. Very nice view of the Cousteau reserve. The hot tub is perfect for the end of the day, not overlooked. We found a pathway to Malendure beach with the explanations given by Yves. The best part is that we were able to swim with 2 turtles. I would not hesitate to rent this place again if I had to come back to this beautiful part of the island 🤩

Very nice accommodation with a beautiful garden and sumptuous decoration. All the little touches are very much appreciated and Françoise and her husband are very warm, responsive and welcoming.

We just left Paradise! Honestly, what Olivier & Renaud have created is nothing short but "Paradise". Our treehouse "the Explorer" was super nice, clean and beautifully decorated. We felt right at home. The welcome was very kind and communication throughout was perfect & quick. Both speak English very well and are honestly the loveliest, trustworthy guys and give you the best recommendations for foody places but also dive schools etc. which we happily used and can now also vouch for. We stayed for 2 nights and would have liked to stay longer. Well, there will be a next time for sure. Thank you, Olivier & Renaud - for sharing your beautiful home with us - it was a pleasure to meet you! ;-)

We had a lovely stay. The accommodation is very well-equipped, we did not lack anything. Communication 😊 with Céline and Christophe was always very fast. We would highly recommend it!

There is no rating for this listing, because it will stay in my memories forever. We stayed in the hut, and despite the health center being a little far away, the atmosphere really charmed us. It was magical, surrounded by nature, this place is the most beautiful antidote to the hustle and bustle of city life. I loved it! A huge thank you to the owners: it is thanks to them that these rare homes still exist.

We had a great time at Vana's place. Everything was perfect! The ideal location on the water, we recharged after a somewhat "sickly" start to our stay. If we had to choose from the 3 places we rented during our stay, it would be Vana's, without hesitation.

A big thank you to Dorkis and Jackie for this fabulous stay. We had a pleasant welcome and welcome products in the fridge. The view from the terrace is amazing, it should be featured more prominently in the photos but at least the discovery is surprising. The atmosphere is family-like, you feel at home from the start! We LOVED our stay!! The view was stunning and the house was amazing. It was quiet and very private, yet the other rentals in the La Manon compound were close by and it felt safe and secure at the top of a mountain. Exactly as pictured and exactly what we were expecting. The house was not quite ready for us upon arrival so we went out for groceries while the cleaning lady was finishing up. A nice grocery store is just 15 minutes away with everything we needed. The house was so relaxing that we didn’t want to leave it for exploring the island, but enjoyed every outing we had with gorgeous scenery and beautiful beaches. We had stayed one week in Basse Terre and one week in Grand Terre and so glad we did. They are very different but each has its own charm and interest. Bernadette was an excellent, laid back host, always replying quickly and very friendly. We appreciated her speaking some English since we speak very little French. We would definitely recommend!

We were with two people in cottage Ylang Ylang. The house is very spacious and has all the comforts. From the house, you have a breathtaking view of the forest. The location of the accommodation is perfect if you want to make trips to Basse-Terre and Grand-Terre.

What a fantastic stay at Villa Cezanne! The area is quiet, lush and safe. The villa is clean and the outdoor spaces are very nice. We felt at home! The grocery store is walking distance and the nearby beaches are beautiful. Note that there is only one toilet but two bathrooms. Véronique and Bernard are welcoming and warm hosts. We are already dreaming of our next stay at Villa Cezanne!

We only spent 4 nights in our kaz, but what a great time. Sulyanise welcomed us with great sweetness and kindness, we discovered together the fertilization of vanilla and so many other stories of the island. A real enchanting break, thanks to her and Philippe.

Beautiful house 10 min drive to downtown and 5 min drive to the beach (possible on foot but big hill on the way back). Unobstructed view, vegetation around provided and pleasant. Be careful if you are afraid of small animals that can enter the house. Well-equipped house in terms of kitchen equipment. Very spacious and very comfortable beds with mosquito nets. parking available for 3 cars

We spent eight days with two adults and two children (10 and 13 years old) in the accommodation – and I must say: The house was simply fantastically beautiful, we didn't miss anything! From here you can easily reach all the beautiful beaches on Grande-Terre. The excursions that Marie offers together with her husband are also highly recommended. We did the tour to Îlet de Caret with a ride through the mangroves – from the first contact to the excursion itself, everything was perfectly organized. The house is superbly equipped, nothing is really missing – and the pool is simply great! We can 100% recommend Marie and her place!

Authentic chalet in an idyllic setting. The estate offers a total change of scenery and awakens all our senses thanks to the surrounding flora and fauna. A real botanical garden. Very welcoming and warm host, invested in his project. A timeless stay.

Excellent stay at Leo's. Quiet accommodation, ideal for sailing in lowland. The view from the pool was what we expected. Large living room, much appreciated with 3 children. Leo is very discreet. Thank you for the welcome.
