ACUSA SECA CAVE HOUSE

ChristineRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This place is truly special. The view from the cave is breathtaking. In the end, it's even quite luxurious to have running hot water in such a secluded area and a well-equipped kitchen. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed the seclusion very much. We were also lucky that there were no day visitors or neighbors in Acusa Seca. So we had the rocks to ourselves. The cave is simply and tastefully furnished. Everything was very clean. The beds are comfortable!. The kitchen has everything you need. A great experience!
An arched entrance leads into the interior of a cave house, showcasing a cozy living area with an orange sofa and a dining table adorned with a colorful striped tablecloth. Natural stone walls create a rustic charm, while wooden furniture complements the space.

Very nice and charming cave home right at the water. Big windows with an inner patio, so lots of daylight in the main room. Quiet and away from mass tourism. 2 supermarkets just around the corner and a few small restaurants. We enjoyed our stay. Thanks, Marta!

The Ghomrassen Gîte

MichaelRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Staying in the cave was a unique and amazing experience – just like in the pictures! Everything was very well explained, and we felt taken care of from the start. I would definitely recommend it to others. The only small downside was that the water pressure in the shower was quite weak, but overall it didn’t affect the great experience.

Tenerife Encanto Cave 2

LibbyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Laureano’s place was something else. As non drivers this place was a little ambitious to get to as the hill is very steep! Even for drivers you must not be anxious otherwise it’s a little tricky to get up. Once you check in the view is breathtaking. You are far away from everything so there is no sound, just the birds and tranquility. Once in the cave it is so much bigger than what we expected! With another room in the back? The cave was comfortable and everything was well decorated, I can’t believe the care and effort that has gone into making the cave look this beautiful. Only downside was the hot water played up a little at would cut out whilst showering, or washing up we found it difficult with cold water… Laureano was very responsive and friendly! If you’re looking for an adventure this place is perfect for you, transport to the place is tricky but well worth it.
A spacious living area is defined by arched stone walls and a high ceiling. A dining table with seating for several is positioned near the kitchen, which features modern appliances. A cozy sofa adds comfort to the space, while natural light enters through an arched window.

New, In The Heart of The Old City

DavidRating, 5 stars22 months ago
Shmuel was an amazing host and really went way above and beyond with going the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed and that we were comfortable. He also is extremely communicative with any question you might have. The tzimmer(villa) was the perfect place for my wife and I and our 2 kids. It’s in the heart of the old city and a really nice place. Would definitely recommend to anyone and give it a 5 star.
A small outdoor seating area is shown with a round table covered by a patterned cloth, accompanied by two white plastic chairs. The space is framed by rocky walls, providing a natural canopy. In the background, a glimpse of a nearby building and mountain scenery is visible.

The CAVE shelter and the 'ZEN SUITE'

DavidRating, 5 stars2 months ago
This is a perfect place for escape and mindfulness. Lionel was really proactive with relevant local information - sending accurate Komoot walking routes in the local area. It is exactly how they describe it, other than they DO provide the essentials. It is 5* as a place to be, but remember it is a cave location so don’t expect hotel style luxury. If you enjoy nature, walking, beautiful views and escapism then this is the place for you. Wise to have a backpack for transferring your luggage up the pathway to the property. Lionel was the most reliable and responsive host.

Cave with garden. Trekking Trails and city nearby

DominikRating, 5 stars3 months ago
I was allowed to stay for two weeks. The hosts are very nice and also live nearby. You can make very nice hikes from the property. You can easily get to Las Palmas from San Lorenzo and also shop in the village. The highlight was the cave where I slept every day.

La Cueva de Angel Bed & Breakfast

Thomas MikaelRating, 5 stars7 months ago
The Hide-out we’ve been looking for! We will definitely come here again if and when it suits our travelplans. What an experience, wow! A fairytale-like accommodation on the side of the mountain, completely embedded in lush greenery. Very tastefully decorated and furnished room and cozy outdoor area. Clean and fresh to the highest standard and also a little fridge in the room! Ángel really excelled as an AirBnB host and took very good care of us during our stay. Quick to respond when we had any questions before arrival and gave good tips on excursions/hiking trails. In the kitchen he showed skills and served breakfasts that were like dreams, all accompanied by breathtaking views of the ravine. We were also able to pre-order very delicious dinners at a reasonable cost. That said, we have stayed in many places throughout our 30-year travel/vacation history, but La Cueva Ángel B&B is clearly on the podium and deserves several return visits! THX for having us, Àngel (and Johnny) / T & J

Dream House Dar Hayet

YukaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Very quiet and cozy cave accommodation.I've stayed in other cave hotels, but I thought this was the best. There is a beautiful view as far as the eye can see, but it is not a tourist destination, and you can feel confident staying without being too far from the city.Only a few meters from the road to the house is unpaved, but it can be safely accessed by a regular car, not a 4WD. It doesn't have a superhost certification, but I think the place, facilities, and hospitality are worth it.(There may be few people staying because it is difficult to access) The sunset view from the nearby hills was really beautiful, and I don't think I'll ever forget it.I wish I could have stayed one more day and enjoyed trekking. Meals are also recommended.Come hungry to eat a hearty couscous with Ayub!

Castillo Bentley - Volcanic Cave + heated pool

AdamRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We only spent a very brief but fantastic time at ‘Castillo Lanzarote’, staying in Villa Bentley’ Check in/out was very simple with very clear instructions but do be aware this delightful villa is located on the side of a steep hill so has many steps and different levels to it which I think bring it wonderful character but not ideal for those with mobility issues. The villa itself is very beautifully and cleverly laid out over numerous levels, built literally into the side of the hill. The pool is a much welcomed dip on a hot day and with its stunning views down to the coast, is fantastic. The villa has all the amenities you need with the surprise welcome of a dishwasher as we cooked a few meals ‘at home’. We had a hire car which was very handy as the villa is situated around 15 mins drive from the main (and if I’m honest, rather grotty) Puerto del Carmen. I would personally suggest exploring nearby Playa Blanca/Costa Teguise and Puerto Calero.
