Earth house vacation rentals in Sahara Desert

Everything was spotless, even where you don't normally look. The apartment is super nice. Because it is half built into the rock, it is also pleasantly cool when it is hot outside. The view from the terrace is AMAZING.

By far exceeded my expectations. We had a lot of fun staying at Loop. Zou facilitated planning our weekend and provided us with great recommendations and additional services. Malika onsite is just so adorable. She helped us keep the place clean and tidy and prepared us a nice breakfast. The villa is very close to Agafay so we were able to go for a quad tour very nearby to enjoy the desert scenery. Will recommend this place to all my friends coming to Marrakech to disconnect from the world and reconnect with nature 👌🏻

Mohammed is the best host I’ve had so far with AirBnB. Or during my very numerous trips, in general. His thoughtfulness, availability and discrete and pleasant presence are extraordinary. I consider him a friend. The kasbah is beautiful, well conceived and built. It is comfortable and everything is functional. Easy to find, it has a parking right in front of the kasbah. Next door you will have a pleasant cafe restaurant and a pharmacy. Mohammed manages smoothly any problems you might have had during he trip. He is flexible and knowledgeable. I can only that we’ve enjoyed every moment spent in his kasbah and in his company, and that I will recommend his kasbah to everyone who plans to travel in the region.

We stayed at Yasmin's place in Kfar Adama, and there are a few things to know in advance: Come with an open mind for a slightly different vacation experience (solar power and slightly unique toilet). This is the family residence, not a regular vacation rental, making the experience more personal and special. Jasmine contacted us prior to your arrival to make sure everything was understood, and sent clear guidance on how to use the house. The arrival at the house takes place by turning onto an occupied dirt road and immediately disconnecting from the world... We all really enjoyed our stay. The place is quiet and peaceful, with total privacy – just what you need to disconnect and relax. The pool was very enjoyable and added to the cozy atmosphere of the place. The house, built entirely of wood, is one of a kind and has games and books that happily occupied the children. Please note that the electricity in the place is solar, but it's really not restrictive – we always had everything we needed. WiFi and air conditioning are provided, so comfort is maintained. There were quite a few flies outside due to the surrounding fruit trees, but Jasmine took care of glue pages that made things very easy. Overall, for us it was more than a vacation – it was an opportunity to learn about a different lifestyle, highlighting environmental awareness, and it definitely added to our experience. Very nice place to find immediate relaxation. The two of us arrived without a car and were traveling by bus or on foot during our stay. The kitchen is well equipped, so we could eat freshly prepared food every day. Mike is extremely polite, respectful, kind, accommodating and personable. His home is fantastically beautiful and well-maintained. If you can get involved in the scenery and seclusion, you'll be rewarded.

Clean and original home. It's spacious and there's nothing missing. The welcome was very nice. The extraordinary view and very quiet. Small downside: we were only aware when we arrived on a Sunday at the end of the day that no restaurant would be open in Artenara or even a shop. Provide food before arrival or drive for more than 30 minutes. Luckily Pepe arranged a meal for us with the cheese shop next door!

We had a lovely week staying in the Cave of the Cat. Once we got there, it was very peaceful, the view was amazing, and Juan Carlos very friendly and helpful. We recommend that someone in couple who rents be a very good driver as the property is down a very steep road and up a driveway. In general, the roads on that part of Gran Canaria require a solid driver, but the natural beauty and peace are worth the effort. There are local restaurants and shops nearby. One of the best parts of this part of the island is very few people who aren't residents, so you really get to experience the community. We ate at home all of the nights as it was a lovely spot and the kitchen was very accessible. A very nice location for a real getaway.

The most beautiful view we have ever had from any apartment - truly stunning! Well run and managed, fast and responsive, very nicely presented, very clean, with everything we needed for a nice stay.

The camp is beautiful and quite remote so you really can disconnect and feel like you’re in the wild. Brahim is a gracious host, his drum skills are incredible and the night by the fire in intimate surroundings with only 4 other guests felt like you truly saw a moment of life in the desert. The bed was very comfortable and the covers super warm even in the freezing desert night.

We had a wonderful stay at Henri's house! The house is simply amazing, a true Moroccan palace, full of charm and authenticity. We want to highlight especially Henri and Hassan — they were incredible hosts, always available, attentive and genuinely welcoming. We made a friend on this trip and took with us unforgettable memories. Thank you very much for everything! for everything rural We hope to return soon.

Villa Bel'vie is a stunning Riad in a truly authentic and peaceful Moroccan hamlet. Each room is very comfortable and tastefully decorated, with lots of interesting books and cool object de art to browse. It's a well loved property and also very well equipped - everything you need for an extended family is there. The outside space has plenty of little areas to relax in and the pool was perfect for cooling down. Abdou was always on hand to arrange transport into Marrakech and also a couple of excursions. He was super professional, friendly and calm, as was Madjie who's daily breakfasts were fabulous. She also prepared some evening meals for us which were delicious. The small hamlet outside is worth a stroll and the locals are respectful and very friendly if you say hello. We enjoyed mint tea one afternoon with a neighbour which was a highlight. Our extended family had the most memorable time together in this wonderful magical & tranquil home.

This has to be one of the best AirBnbs in which I have stayed. Though Imen had to travel the day of my arrival she still ensured each detail was looked after with the utmost care and attention. Her sister met me for checkin and was very helpful. The space was amazing, decorated in the traditional Djerban style. I was so comfortable. The location is ideal and you are in the heart of the things to do and see in Djerba.

We had a great time with family in Jean-Gabriel's house. Very beautiful contemporary house in a very quiet and natural setting. Our stay was all the more exceptional thanks to the presence of Isham and Soumya. We enjoyed ourselves morning, noon and night with Soumya's Moroccan cuisine. Isham has always been attentive to organizing our daily lives and our various outings. He also organized a birthday party for us, which we will keep as a great memory. Isham and Soumya live in an independent part of the house, but it is absolutely not disturbing because they are discreet. The house is located in the countryside about 40 minutes from Marrakech. The last part of the road to access it is more of a track but we find that it contributes to the charm of this house. We would highly recommend this house.

The accommodation itself is secluded, very quiet, small and simple, very tastefully decorated. Nevertheless, it was never too cramped or unpleasant to stay inside. A fire in the fireplace and it's already cozy. The kitchen has everything you need. Coffee, tea, spices are waiting for you. It's not easy to get to the place, I was glad I didn't have to go up by car, but it's doable if you drive slowly. We walked and were able to discover so much of the exciting flora and fauna. Anthony and Zineb are very warm people. They were always friendly, approachable and helpful. Nevertheless, they always maintained privacy. The grounds, the home that the two of them have created there is stunningly beautiful. We were always amazed and couldn't get enough of it. The incredibly lovingly prepared breakfast basket got us through the day and we looked forward to it every day.

The Riad is beautiful and spacious. Although it is located in the middle of the medina, you have your peace. Furniture and equipment perfect. Only two sanitary facilities (showers) did not work well at all times. But since there is a bathroom in each room, it was not bad and we were able to avoid it well. Great breakfast. Nice roof terrace. I would come again!

Absolutely wonderful stay, in a peaceful and private location. Jay is fantastic, the best host i've ever stayed with and the two cats who live on the property are so cute, always coming and going and wanting to be petted. The moment you check in, you feel at home and comfortable. Not a single thing is not as in pictures. Top, top place to stay and rest, i hope to return one day.

This place was great. Very peaceful and all the many outside spaces made it a perfect place to chill at home. Kitchen is very well equipped which made it a pleasure to cook at home. Would come back

The Riad is super well placed in the medina and remains quiet. Restaurants, tourist places, supermarkets, everything is close and can be done on foot. We were able to leave our luggage before the scheduled time. Alice is very responsive and has answered any questions we may have. Mohamed also welcomed us very warmly. The rooftop pool is great. We had a great time!

We have been there as a family (4 adults and 6 children) and it was just perfect! We stayed in the airbnb and also two nights in the desert with tents. The whole trip was amazing! Well organised, perfect communication, the food was excellent and Joanne and the whole staff sooo lovely. We really really recommend this place! Thank you for everything.

Such a beautiful and peaceful place. We spend the last days of our trip there and relaxed in the pool and in the sun. The estate is beautiful as well and we loved the old charm of the house. These are the kind of authentic experiences we love the most.

We loved our stay at Casa La Orilla. The house was peaceful, cute and comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was perfect. The village, with nice cafes and a supermarket, was a 2 min walk away along the beach. Even though it was very windy elsewhere the beach was sheltered and calm. The water was clear and great for snorkelling, and safe for young children. We hope to be back soon.
