Amanda was so accommodating and flexible. It was a restful stay, and a very comfortable bed, and a nice place to work remotely on the days where I wasn’t visiting family in the area. The only thing I would say is to caution anyone who might have mobility issues as there are a few naturally uneven railroad tie steps on the way to the private entry with (no railings), which might be a good addition at some point. Also, the Jacuzzi tub/shower might be hard for some people to get in and out of and I would recommend a sturdy tubside bar. If it had a bar and a safer way in and out, I would’ve taken a Jacuzzi. There is also excellent Wi-Fi, but as the owner mentioned, cell service is difficult, but I had no problem accessing mine through my phone Wi-Fi settings. Thank you for an enjoyable stay!

Michele and her husband were absolutely amazing! So incredibly kind and their home is on a beautiful piece of property. Situated in a remote area in between York and Ogunquit it was easy to get ANYWHERE! Michele was incredibly responsive with questions, recommendations, and just about anything you could need. I would HIGHLY recommend staying with them!

Your home was the perfect fit for me, my niece and great niece. It was nice to each have our own comfy bed on scent free sheets. We loved the funky, unique feel of the place and really enjoyed all the art work. We appreciated the snacks, coffee, tea and 1/2 n 1/2 provided. UNE was only one mile down the road which was really convenient. We enjoyed eating at Jewel of India and Coco’s Bar and Grill. Our favorite place in town was Elements where you can have a coffee, tea or beer while you browse the bookstore. Ian and Suzen were great hosts!! I would definitely book this space again!! UNE is still my great-niece’s 1st choice.

Amy's place was exactly as expected. Peaceful and quiet location. Amy greeted us upon arrival and showed us a quick tour and answered any questions. Amy made sure we had what we needed and I would definitely stay here again

We simply loved our time here in this beautiful, comfortable location. The yard and surroundings were an absolute sanctuary. It’s easy to see the owner lovingly cares for this remarkable space. The kayaks were a special treat to explore the gorgeous lake. We loved our stay.❤️

Our stay here was our favorite Airbnb experience to date in all of our vacations together. From the beautiful, bright, airy space inside, the sauna, the hot tub in the center of green, trees, and mountains, our expectations were exceeded on every level. We didn’t bring our bikes this time, but certainly will be next time we stay here. We got to visit with the cows, walk the beautiful and private walking path along the property, and got to enjoy the quiet and peaceful ambiance that nature provides. Our hosts were so proactive in offering information that we never needed to ask a single question. We felt so taken care of, prepared for the best possible stay, and we were truly so sad to leave. You will love it here!

We had a very relaxing stay at Carl & Rose's place. It was a very cozy space on a rainy fall weekend. Lots of fleece blankets, pillows and tea made us feel warm and welcome. The oversized reclining couch and 4-poster bed were super comfy. The height of the bed was a bit intimidating at first but quite luxurious once you sink into the soft supportive mattress. Great home base for exploring the beautiful scenery of Maine and nearby NH, especially with the leaves in full color.

Brigitte offered a tranquil space with lots of features. We were able to relax and unwind. My husband fell in love with the massage chair and I the hot tub and rainfall shower. We loved watching the bluebirds and hummingbirds.

The Loft at Love Lane was amazing! Perfect for a quick little staycation. It was cozy, quiet, and just what we needed! Jody was an incredible host; responsive friendly and accommodating. She even left baked goods for us the morning of check out! Would definitely recommend!!!! Thanks Jody! xo

Laura was very informative about the area. They allowed us to unhitch the boat before going to get dinner & let us charge our boat batteries. Even though it was away from home, we felt very at home! Plastic Silverware was a plus when Olive Garden didn't give us any in our togo order. Great comfortable place to stay! Definitely worth it! Thanks guys! -Katlin & Joe

If you are looking for a simple and comfortable studio in Freeport, this is a great spot! It's a simple walk to a terrific food market, a local park, and all the shops and restaurants downtown. What we loved the most was the short drive to Wolfe's Neck Farm and Winslow Park, and the easy 25 minute drive into the heart of Portland. This was also the perfect landing spot for our elderly dog who struggles with stairs-- we all enjoyed the lovely deck and yard and the safe, peaceful and quiet neighborhood. Wonderful stay, the place was in a beautiful location, walkable to Wolfe’s Neck Farm where we love to walk. My husband and I were there the first few days, then our adult daughter joined us for two nights. The place is small (described accurately) but the three of us found it very workable. The king bed was very comfortable. There was plenty of outside patio space to lounge and soak up the sun when it was out. This was a work trip for us as we were getting a property in a nearby town ready for sale. We didn’t have time to use the provided kayaks but hope to in a future stay. The hosts very friendly and accommodating, highly recommended this property.
