Barn vacation rentals in Saco River

We stayed in an old cottage on a farm. Nice and quiet. Bethany was very helpful in recommending some places to eat.

Just as advertised. Stayed here because I was taking a week long seminar about 10 mins away. Felt right at home. Nina and Ian were responsive and very detailed. Excellent house instructions

We enjoyed our stay, lots to do with in a few miles. There are some games to play while we enjoyed a fire. We had a projector so we enjoyed a movie later on upstairs in the loft. Thank you for the relaxing time.

I can't say enough about this sweet cottage. This was my first airbnb experience and I absolutely loved it. Andrew is a very accomodating host. He was always available when I had a question. The cottage is in a perfect location to enjoy walks in nature or to stay in on cozy days to work on a puzzle or read. The cottage is welcoming, clean, well stocked with supplies and so comfortable. I truly didn't want to leave.

This is a great place to stay if you want a slice of life in the picturesque village of South Freeport, Maine. It's a very private location, and convenient for taking walks down to the water and around the village. The Airbnb itself is comfortable, quiet, and well appointed.

Amazing rustic spot no far from attractions in Woodstock on Mirror Lake. Very cozy and comfortable, with many amenities. Definitely will be back!

Mary’s place is a very unique historical home with all the modern conveniences. The beds are extremely comfortable, the home itself has a welcoming aura and the surroundings are peaceful and beautiful. Mary and her husband are easily available and helpful and very friendly. We enjoyed 3 nights in their lovely home

We had a really nice stay in this cozy farmhouse. We were skiing at Burke and the location was perfect that. Very warm even in the very cold temps. The propane stove was nice and the kitchen was well stocked. Downstairs shower was a bit hard to control, but the water was hot and the pressure good! Kevin was super responsive and very helpful. We'd absolutely come back!

Our stay was perfect. It was hard to leave because it was such a nice, comfortable place. The beach was only a 5-10 minute walk. The area was quiet during our stay in October. The hosts were communicated clearly, were responsive, and provided so many awesome local recommendations and firewood that we used when we decided to come back to the barn early. I’m sure you will love your stay here. We sure did, and we hope to be back soon!

My wife and I had to travel from Washington for a Memorial service for my Dad after he passed away. We had owned and run a B&B in Tacoma, Washington for almost 11 years and we love staying at B&Bs. We loved and thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Dean & Wendy at His & Hers B&B. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area. The hosts were kind, knowledgeable of the area and very welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. The food was excellent. Thank you Dean & Wendy.

We had a wonderful February break with our kids at Jay’s barn! The space was amazing and perfect for our family. Our kids loved the bunk beds and that they had their own bathroom. The big bathtub in the main bedroom is awesome! The kitchen and living room upstairs was so cozy and had everything we needed. Restaurants and cafes were close by, many you can walk to and North Conway is a quick drive for shopping. We enjoyed hiking, snowboarding and tubing at Cranmore, and went to Nestlenook which was suggested by another reviewer - it was a very cool place. We hope to stay again soon!

The floor was made of wood, you couldn't make noise after 7 at night, everything was closed after 7 at night, the floor smelled bad, you couldn't walk barefoot because you would scratch the floor because the wood was old.

Patty and Rob are excellent hosts, warm and inviting and checked in to make sure we had everything we may need. They went above and beyond to make sure our whole family had what we needed, providing even high chairs for mealtime for our twins! The space was exceptionally well appointed, materials and design convey a thoughtful dwelling and peaceful atmosphere. We enjoyed stunning views over the pond and woods and watched mergansers playing for hours. There were many hikes in the area, flat or hilly to choose from in driving distance (many within 10 minutes). Local eateries abound as well in nearby towns, I would highly recommend stopping at Mi Corazon if feeling hungry after a day of hiking near Greenfield.

Michelle and Justin were great hosts. We felt right home. Great space. Very cozy. They have few horses , dogs and tons of chickens. These made the stay very calm and peaceful.

We had 17 teens and six adults on a church teen retreat. Great accommodations with plenty of beds for all of us. Nice large kitchen to cook for everyone. Huge refrigerator to hold all the food. Nice large living room for us to all meet in and hang out. The kids loved the pool table. We all enjoyed our stay very much.

I absolutely loved staying at Cate’s place. It is warm, cozy, well appointed and a delight to experience every nook and corner. It is such a charming and unique property and it delighted me at every turn. Thank you very much for the hospitality and all of the special touches. I will be back !

We had a great stay in Keene. Ruth is a fantastic hostess. Her house is just close enough to Main Street to keep it a walkable distance to multiple restaurants and shopping. The house is a nice cozy spot that was big to accommodate my whole family meeting up for a fun winter weekend in Keene. I would stay there again without hesitation

Entertainers paradise! Kitchen was fully stocked with platters, glasses, place settings, and specialty baking and cooking equipment. Just bring the food and nothing else is needed. Enough space for a kids and adult party on separate floors. Decorate well in minimalist style with all the modern conveniences. Even though there was a surprise snow storm on a holiday, was kept in the loop with plowing. They were very attentive. Thank you! Made many memories.

Had a great stay in the barn. The place was spotless. New furniture and fully functional kitchen. It has everything you need. Such a beautiful spot. The bike storage area was appreciated. The trails were awesome and endless. Robin gave great recommendations for dinner. Get the pizza! We will be back.

Our stay at Kearsarge Cottage was amazing. Its location and the size was what drew me to the listing, but what sealed the deal were all the 5 star reviews with stellar comments on the house and host Tom. We rented the house for a long weekend to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary with our children and grandchildren so being together was important. Between the house and its addition there was plenty of space for togetherness, but also separation for sleeping and bathrooms. The kitchens are modern and have every gadget and appliance imaginable. TV setup and WiFi was perfect. And we couldn’t have asked for a better location. A 2 minute drive to Cranmore for winter fun and super short walk to town (5-6 minutes) for restaurants and shopping. Tom and Nori are amazing hosts with what they provide for their guests. They were readily available, and answered messages quickly. I would not give a moments hesitation to rent this house again. My family's stay at the Barn was wonderful. The Barn is stocked with everything you need. The place is nicely decorated and felt so cozy for a weekend getaway. The property is also very beautiful and peaceful. My boys loved sledding on the back hill and our furry friend really enjoyed his time too. Thank you again and highly recommend~!
