We had such a good time at the Bigfin. Staff was super kind, food was delicious and the surroundings are beautiful. We had stormy weather the entire week but we didn't mind, it's also a great place to relax. Saddening though to see how much plastic washes up at the shores :(

I never expected Kudat to have such amazing villas. Serendipity is a beachfront villa with 4 tastefully furnished luxurious rooms. Our spacious room was located upstairs with a really comfortable bed, dressing table, tv, day bed, fan, adequate lighting and two air conditioners. The room has a big sea-facing balcony which is perfect for yoga and night photography to capture the stars and Milky Way. However, it can get pretty hot in the afternoon as there is direct sunlight into the room. This villa is very exclusive, quiet and serene. You will truly enjoy this place with its own swimming pool and a fully equipped self-catering kitchen and not to mention the ‘private’ beach with stunning sunsets. And oh, the beach cabana is a keeper!!! Phone reception is non-existence but WiFi is available in the vicinity (however signal is poor in the rooms upstairs). Bring your own ingredients to cook unless you want to drive out for meals or cater from the management. Nearest restaurants are about 10-15 mins away to the Tip of Borneo, or about 20km to town. This place is part of the Kudat Riviera exclusive villas, which is very well maintained. Every morning their workers are seen cleaning up the beach and gardens. Definitely worth a visit to have a break from the hustle and bustle of Kota Kinabalu city. I do hope this place remains well-kept and not lose its charm as more people start to discover this hidden gem..

We had a brilliant weekend at Serendipity with a great bunch of friends. The hosts couldn’t have been more accommodating. The private chef also cooked us a delicious meal. It’s a stunning property in a beautiful part of the world. And really good value.

If you want to experience the jungle away from the crowds then this place is the best hidden gem you can find around the Kinabantagan river. The rooms are spacious, will fit a family easily, it's clean and up a hill surrounded by trees with lots of wildlife. Gert is a perfect host and does everything to make your stay special. Jason the chef makes delicious food and always in for a chat. The guide is very knowledgeable. We have spotted wild orangutans just at the stairs from the resort and watched them for hours. As the place is not big you have a lot of privacy without seeing tourists all over. Very relaxing and memorable stay!

We stayed at Serendipity for 5 days, with my family of 3 teenaged kids. We loved the ocean and the pool and Rosie's cooking. You definately need a car to get around, the supermarket and bank is 40 minutes drive. In the neighborhood there are some small, charming restaurants. And we drove in the morning to the fish market, and in the evening it was put on the BBQ. Loved it! We recommend the place, it is quiet and beautiful.

民宿的位置其实不偏，但楼下是个大巴车站，周边人流稍微复杂，民宿环境和卫生没毛病，总体来说还是不错的

家庭房三张床，其实睡五六个人都可以，因为有两张双人床。除了卫生间有点小，其他还可以，本来自备了过滤器花洒，发现房东的热水器自带过滤，非常好。距离肥妈码头10分钟走路，距离超级好吃的dozo 走路才三分钟。

老板人很好，入住环境很干净，出去玩也很方便

干净舒适，还有大阳台，住下来感觉挺好的！老板是江苏人，人很好！可以帮忙安排海钓、跳岛游啥的，价格绝对实惠！没有房间拍照片，附几张美景照片！

房间干净，中文房东，很棒棒，还有个大阳台，厕所要是再大一点点就更好了

环境很好

不错的体验，作为小镇上的民宿，性价比较高。只是周围比较破破的，晚上就回到民宿就好，不要闲逛。民宿提供冰水和热水，可以泡茶，周边有dozo和wangwang可以吃。

Just wow. Having been traveling for quite some time I was amazed to find such great value with so many thoughtful touches. Absolutely loved the hotel, but the service and hospitality is even better. My room was stunning and the bed was very comfy!

Nice and tidy. 15 min walk to the jetty.

有点像国内80左右的小旅馆，我想我下次会花多点钱住的酒店，因为小镇本来就脏乱差，这个位置完全在小镇里，去码头要经过长长的贫民窟一样的小路，影响游玩心情
