Steps from hiking trailheads. Access (not lakefront) to protected 13th Lake with sandy beach. Two one-seat kayaks come with the rental. Our second stay at the cabin. No surprises here, property is as described. Quiet area on private road, walking distance to Cedar River.

We were happy with the place. It was bright, open, and cheerful. It was about 30 minute drive for us to ski at gore mountain. Walked down to Indian lake, which was nice to see

Beautiful, private location with a fantastic front deck and backyard fire pit. Lakefront access across the street was steep, but very spacious. Priced well for all it offered!

Katie’s Air BnB was wonderful! Tucked away in the woods, we had a great cabin feel. The road it’s on was a little tricky to spot. The upstairs bedrooms are separated by partial walls. The house was clean and homey and well-stocked with plenty of dishes and linens. Thanks for a great stay, Katie!

Really enjoyed my stay and overall experience at The Base Cottage. Access / check-in was a breeze, signs for the property and where to park were clear (which was really appreciated given a late evening arrival) and the accomodations matched the description perfectly (a very charming place!). Just minutes away from the local attractions and great access to hiking spots in Southern High Peaks and elsewhere. Fully recommend.
